- I could not find the actual soundtrack for this game anywhere, no matter how much I looked. So with the help of a few internet programmes, I got into the data of the game and ripped the audio files. Unfortunately these all have a sort of outdoors speaker effect applied to them. Far from ideal for listening to them later. The thing is, these are all songs that have been in past namco bandai games, they just are instrumentals.
So I'd like to propose that if anyone knows any of the songs in this OST, please add a comment of the track so we can just make a playlist of these songs in their original quality.

Jeez I remember waking up early winter mornings during Christmas break and playing it with my brother. We’d cover the map with a sticky note and play hide and go seek, or sometimes my dad and older sister would join us and we’d laugh at my dad who intentionally did ridiculous things. I remember getting so mad that I couldn’t get a good score on Lion’s Peak. I remember loving Dolphin’s Jump- I don’t remember the specific name- simply because I loved dolphins, or never taking the moguls on the Camel race and just zipping down the flat side. I remember reloading the game until I got blizzard weather because I loved it when it snowed. I remember cozy winters spent with my family, decorating for Christmas, playing outside with icicle swords when it was dark and only our Christmas lights lighting up the snow. I remember digging tunnels when the snow got deep enough or building forts with my brother into snowbanks. Jeez this brings back memories. I think I’ll play Wii Ski today.

Agreed! I think it really puts you back in the environment as opposed to just listening to the music from the respective soundtracks. It's for this reason that I came back to this video with the music today.

bruh, it was, my siblings and i would play hide and seek, do races, sardines, or whatever else we could think of to do on the game.

Honestly I'm glad you ripped these straight from the game, I really like the outdoor speaker aesthetic for some reason. It just has such a nice, almost nostalgic sound to it.

Every now and then I come back to this soundtrack, I can only think of memories playing it. Our wii is long dead and life is weird and tough now, but I always take joy in remembering the times me and my sister would play this game up in our attic.. for hours on end until night, with the cozy feeling of the winter and christmas. Dont regret spending hours of life away on this.

I'm glad so many people were made happy by this becoming accessible on the internet. I just wanted to mention how I went about extracting this audio in the first place if anyone else feels inclined to do it. I used Wiiscrubber to get the data from the original file, then used a program named NUBExt (available at archive.org or here : hcs64.com/files/ ) and finally converted the split files with vgmstream (also at hcs64.com/files/ ).
@RAMEN111 was asking about how to do this for the Japanese version of the game, so hoping this info will be usefull, even if just for posterity.
Also, for those interested in downloading the OST, I have it uploaded on Soulseek. Alternatively, send me a PM and I'm sure we can work something out.
Does the We Ski soundtrack only have 13 songs in the background? We Ski and Snowboard has 20 and I'm gonna upload the background tracks and event tracks for WSS but idk what 7 of the background tracks are.

I listen to just think about the snow and the awesome ski resort, the warm cozy lodge, gliding slopes, and the frigid Lion peak. The slow and calming lifts, and meeting with friends down at the bottom
i really liked the dude at lions peak who was afraid of heights.
I remember playing this game when I was younger but my sister would come in and try to take it away from me, I got so mad, I loved this game

I never played some of the biggest games like your Zelda’s or smash bros on the Wii but We Ski was definitely one where I spent countless hours in. The customization, the tricks, races, deliveries, just watching the scenery on a ski lift, trying to find that yeti, I’ve never skiied or been to a ski lodge but that game gave me a magic that most modern AAA games don’t give me

This game was much better than it had any right to be. Despite the fact that most of its ost was from other games, it still had a very nice charm with its speaker effect.

This game is so nastolgic for me, being one of my first few games in childhood, minus my gameboy. For hours I would Ski around, do some of the exercises and deliveries, and just explore much if the map. After unlocking it all I kind of stopped playing, but this game holds a huge place in my childhood, and will forever be one of my favorite wii games.
