Actually that “Luke” design wasn’t Luke at all it just a rebel trooper fighting Vader on the Tantive IV, Luke in this art was actually the blond haired female who appeared in some of the art you showed.
@Slade Hoodlum i dont think there's anything wrong with a slave leigh mod, but if someone were to say it were their favorite of all time may give off some perverted undertones
Thanks for the showcase! I really liked the designs for Vader and Luke in the original art and wanted to bring them into the game. At the moment I have no plans on bringing other Ralph McQuarrie designs into the game, choosing to focus on other projects, but I am open to the idea later on.
Fun fact: The original design for Chewbacca was later used in Star Wars Rebels as a new species called the Lasat, with one of the main characters, Zeb, being a part of this species. Also, this is an easy one, "Starkiller" was used as the name of your playable character in the Force Unleashed.
I'd like to see a touched up version of McQuarrie's Luke in Star War someday. Like how they included Leia's n Rebels. Maybe by modifing the respirator to be more streamlined and not purple, and making the harness he wearing more like a combat vest.
For me the Darth Vader mob is my favorite I just love that design to me it looks like a Darth Vader that won against Obi Wan and is at his strongest and plus looks terrifying
Give me Jabba in Extraction where a faction of Aliens/bounty hunters have to escort him out of his palace into the garage to escape on his sail barge. We have the model from hutt’s contracts.
#1 without a doubt is the mod that replaces the first order with The Empire. #2 Replaces Rey with Aayla or Ahsoka or anyone really. #3 Replaces "the resistance" with the Rebel Alliance.
3:58 Its funny that another Star Wars character was based on this design in Metropolis. In SWTOR there is an Imperial Agent named SCORPIO, who resembles this look even more than C-3P0!
This video is literally just a video talking about Ralph McCrory and his influence on Star Wars, but disguised as a Battlefront 2 video that's been stretched out to 11 minutes
They should do 2-3 months of releasing classic skins. Luke, Vader, stormtroopers, as much as they can. Maybe that could be implemented as some 40th anniversary of ESB content.
2:27 I assume the tall creature was an early concept of a lasat or what eventually became a lasat or was like a early concept of chewbacca that was turned into a lasat later
Came for the Battlefront 2 mods. Got a Star Wars history lesson. You’re welcome 🙃
lol nice mr. B. Ombastic
Thanks for the history
The only history lesson I’ll have in a long time.
What happened to the Bombastic Crew?
What is the music u use
Luke's original look may not be the best design but it would look great in lego
Yes!
Add this to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga!
Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! Yes !
@@sambridgers9543 good idea
Yeah
The “Count Gonk” mod is definitely my favorite! You get to play as a to scale Gonk droid with Dooku’s saber
There is also a lego dooku mod
r/CultofGonk would approve
@@thrawnfanboy2228 gonk
0:29 Lando's back I missed that laugh.
'top 3 battlefront 2 mods ever made' one of the mods in the thumbnail has #7 in the corner???
Yeee true?
Thats good spotting
2:18 clearly the name ‘Utapau’ was something that George had planned out from the beginning
And annikin or Anakin which they call him here.
Actually that “Luke” design wasn’t Luke at all it just a rebel trooper fighting Vader on the Tantive IV, Luke in this art was actually the blond haired female who appeared in some of the art you showed.
As I know, there was many early concepts of Luke.
if that where true then why is this supposed "Rebel trooper" a skin for starkiller in the force awakens?
Excellent choices! Glad you didn't pick Slave Leia or anything haha. Also will have to try the ramen!
@Slade Hoodlum boi, if you don't
@Slade Hoodlum i dont think there's anything wrong with a slave leigh mod, but if someone were to say it were their favorite of all time may give off some perverted undertones
Hello
@@wyattloveslife1762 bonjour
@Slade Hoodlum why did you think wolf said "I'm going to hell"
4:27, those early snowtrooper designs are the exact same as the imperial recruits helmets from Rebels, so the drawings still influence stuff today.
At first I thought that Luke was a scuba diver skin...
The OG Luke and Vader was also in a now gone star wars game “Force Arena”, for the 40th anniversary of star wars.
Thanks for the showcase! I really liked the designs for Vader and Luke in the original art and wanted to bring them into the game. At the moment I have no plans on bringing other Ralph McQuarrie designs into the game, choosing to focus on other projects, but I am open to the idea later on.
4:32 That snow trooper is a Imperial Cadet.
Just imagine Jabba as a villain, sliding on the battlefield and smashing enemies with his tail.
Epic
Also good hearing a nice Lando laugh at the start.
Fun fact: The original design for Chewbacca was later used in Star Wars Rebels as a new species called the Lasat, with one of the main characters, Zeb, being a part of this species.
Also, this is an easy one, "Starkiller" was used as the name of your playable character in the Force Unleashed.
I think that it’s actually Han solo
6:07 my parents have the exact same chairs 😂
That was the best sponsorship transition that I’ve ever seen 😂
Makes video about 3 mods
Video Length: 11 minutes
Me: Oh god, lots of babbling
I'd like to see a touched up version of McQuarrie's Luke in Star War someday. Like how they included Leia's n Rebels.
Maybe by modifing the respirator to be more streamlined and not purple, and making the harness he wearing more like a combat vest.
There is actually a discontinued game that had the Concept Art Luke/Starkiller and Vader. I miss Force Arena.
For me the Darth Vader mob is my favorite I just love that design to me it looks like a Darth Vader that won against Obi Wan and is at his strongest and plus looks terrifying
Title: Top *3* Battleftont Mods
Thumbnail: #7 is...
Me: Impossible.
I like how they brought some of these designs, like proto-chewie became Lassats, and the original X-wing designs became the T-70s
You forgot that battlefront 2 developer Dennis! You wanted him to be a playable character!
I feel so old, remembering that concept art 😂
No offense but, I doubt you're that old.
I like seeing Vader with a blue lightsaber, even more badass than the red
I think I'm in love with the Vader skin.
5:01 An inverted Nike logo right of Darth Vader...
Dew it
Just dew it
When I first saw Concept Luke I thought SCUBA DIVING LUKE
"who are you?" "im rey" rey who?" "rey shields"
It's always been so interesting to me how star wars went through so many versions before we finally arrived at the version we all know and love
I think Vite Ramen is the first sponsored thing I've actually been interested in
Good work keep making good videos
The Fact That Jabba Was Made into a Mod 😂
6:19 I have the exact same Spider-Man poster
the original chewbacca concepts definetely inspired what lasaats look like in star wars.
Good to see your checking out mods now, keep up the great videos!
The Star Wars ship emergency alarm actually makes a good phone alarm
that sponsorship was smooth asf.
I loved your ad for ramens it made me laugh because it was completely unexpected 😂😂
The Lando laugh is back praise the Lord!!!!
With these concept art shots i can see where did the inspiration for many things in Rebels show come from
Ralph’s chewbacca art reminds me of Garazeb Orelios from Star Wars Rebels
Give me Jabba in Extraction where a faction of Aliens/bounty hunters have to escort him out of his palace into the garage to escape on his sail barge. We have the model from hutt’s contracts.
#1 without a doubt is the mod that replaces the first order with The Empire. #2 Replaces Rey with Aayla or Ahsoka or anyone really. #3 Replaces "the resistance" with the Rebel Alliance.
4:09 early Chewie looks REALLY similar to the species that Zeb and Caleb's master are
thats what inspired their species. also, cal*
3:58 Its funny that another Star Wars character was based on this design in Metropolis. In SWTOR there is an Imperial Agent named SCORPIO, who resembles this look even more than C-3P0!
The Vader And Luke Skins Should be Legacy Appearances; because they are not canon; but they are influential to STAR WARS
Having Jabba in the mod is AWESOME
*shoots Jabba the Hutt
*Jabba the Hutt pulls out Maul's saber
*Confused screaming*
Title: Top Three SWBF2 Mods Ever Made
Thumbnail: #7
Video:Top 3 mods but thumbnail shows something in 7th place
Me: Triggered!
Usually modders only take a few weeks to create a new skin while dice takes months just to release a new skin,
Who are kidders
Radek Alonso thank you for pointing that out. Autocorrect switched modders to kidders
The early designs of chewbaca look like Zeb from rebels
The concept art skins were also in Star Wars: Force Arena as playable characters so there is a possibility of them being skins in BF2
My dad worked on matte paintings for lucasfilm back in the day and he worked with him and he showed him many of his paintings and concepts
When he said all jokes aside and then carried on talking about Jabba I was so confused
Hello bombastic
Thanks for featuring my mod
This video is literally just a video talking about Ralph McCrory and his influence on Star Wars, but disguised as a Battlefront 2 video that's been stretched out to 11 minutes
If I'm correct the original name for Luke was Anakin starkiller, not deek starkiller
They should do 2-3 months of releasing classic skins. Luke, Vader, stormtroopers, as much as they can. Maybe that could be implemented as some 40th anniversary of ESB content.
Hey Bombastic! I love the vids you make and so do most of my friends. Could we expect a face reveal at something like 175k or 200k subs???
Pedro_ Hedro no
OMG REBELS USES THAT ART STYLE!
The Mcquarrie Vader and Luke should be legendary skins for the game
ths is a sponsorship i can get behind
Yeah that Vader skin is amazing
This vader also really looks like kylo ren…
I really like the IG-11 mod from the Mandalorian.
That darth vader is just looks so cool
4:08 Chewbaccas original design inspired Zeb and the Lasat species
It wasnt Deak Starkiller It was Annikin Starkiller.
Technically both of the first Vader and Luke skins were in a little less detail in the most slept on star wars game Force Arena
Out of those 3, I'd say my favorite is the vader mod.
Nice house looks very peaceful
If the world didn't have star wars, well I wouldn't be here, or bombastic's Channel might be about something else
FINALLY THE OG INTRO IS BACK!!!
I'm certain that the Star Wars Episode I game used some of Ralph's designs for the lightsabers in that game. But, I could be wrong.
I remember when the ralph macquarry darth vader and luke were playable in the force arena mobile game.
Know this is late and irrelevant but when you left your setup, the whole thing gave me fallout 4 prologue vibes.
Sweet bed dude!
definitely just me but that ramen ad made me sooo hungry
Maybe they could add the Ralph Macquarrie concept art skins during the 45 year anniversary of Star Wars in 2022
Hey, Lando's back!
Makes me laugh everytime I see your Lando intro 😅
Can we talk about how the original chewbaka look is really close to zeb from rebels
Loved the ad and how you did it,
Great video !
could you imagine if they used this as his first ever suit in the end of revenge of the sith
Dice should just add mod support. It would definitely increase the lifespan of this game imho
The question is , did you know that cashews come from a fruit?
Ca-ca-ca cashews, cashews, fru-fru-fru-fru fruit
Chewbacca's original look is exactly like a Lasaat
My favorite 3 mods are Plo Koon, Ahsoka Tano, and the Dooku gonk droid mod
In would have never thought his number one mod was the Fat Slug, Jabba The Hut
Lando is back
the number one caught me off guard
I can't believe they actually did it
4:30 Snow trooper's original design was turned into flame troopers! (Look at Jedi Fallen Order.)
Title: Top 3 mods!
Thumbnail: Number 7 is this!
2:27 I assume the tall creature was an early concept of a lasat or what eventually became a lasat or was like a early concept of chewbacca that was turned into a lasat later
