  • I think you will love this homemade lipstick - it's so pigmented, affordable and easy to make while also being natural and cruelty free! I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup lately so I haven't been experimenting with many natural makeup recipes for a while, but now i'm back into it.
    Natural Lipstick Recipe;
    - 1 tsp wax
    - 1 tsp Shea butter
    - 1 tsp coconut oil
    - 1 tsp almond oil - if in colder climate
    - 1 tsp red reef clay
    - optional 10 drops peppermint or cinnamon essential oil
    - optional 1/4 tsp activated charcoal

    To make this more matte add 1/4 teaspoon of bentonite clay, but in the mean time powder works

      +BurningDesire Msp if your asking where to get bentonite clay, I found mine at the health food store. I added it just before pouring into containers, but you have to work fast, it hardens really quick!

    If anything, I would use _white clay_, since I'd want a lighter color. What about beeswax instead of soy wax, that would work too, wouldn't it?
    ...ok it's just equal parts of everything then, whether or not I add the almond oil? Also, would you recommend mica like from bulk apothacary, or is that not as natural, or would better for eye shadow or something?

    • @Lavenderrose73
      @Lavenderrose73 8 років тому +1

      Oh, ok. That wouldn't be an issue for _me,_ but that's good to know in case someone else wanted it strictly vegan.
