- I think you will love this homemade lipstick - it's so pigmented, affordable and easy to make while also being natural and cruelty free! I haven't been wearing a lot of makeup lately so I haven't been experimenting with many natural makeup recipes for a while, but now i'm back into it.
Natural Lipstick Recipe;
- 1 tsp wax
- 1 tsp Shea butter
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1 tsp almond oil - if in colder climate
- 1 tsp red reef clay
- optional 10 drops peppermint or cinnamon essential oil
- optional 1/4 tsp activated charcoal
I hope you enjoyed this video ♡

I loooooove the colour and the recipe. Only natural ingredients! And the idea of making my own lipstick (wich is in my head for quite a while ). I guess it is time for me to try . Keep up the good work! Thank you so much for sharing from your experience! . You are a gorgeous woman and a wonderful human being.
What a beautiful color any others? I have made my own beauty essentials in the past , but not exactly like this. Any peachy colors? Thank you
hi Ela, i was wondering if you could tell us where did you get the beautiful containers thankyou
yes please!
Me too!
Excited to try! Have you ever tried hibiscus powder for color instead of red reef clay?
🙏💕 Thank you sooo much for doing this, I'm so going to make this now 💕🙏
Hi dear Ela, i love love all your videos, and please keep doing it ! that's fantastic. So what if i wanna make different colors, like bright , pink, peachy lipsticks, what clays do i use . Thankyou
To make this more matte add 1/4 teaspoon of bentonite clay, but in the mean time powder works
when can i get the clay though?
+BurningDesire Msp if your asking where to get bentonite clay, I found mine at the health food store. I added it just before pouring into containers, but you have to work fast, it hardens really quick!
Is it safe? And does it change the color?
Love the color on you, beautiful as always! Thanks for sharing, love. :D
Wow!!
Love this
This is awesome. Thanks for posting this 😘
Thankyou so much for sharing this!
If I substituted the red reef clay for mica powder, would it be about the same amount?
Thank you! I love this video :)

Hey Ela, I enjoyed your videos so much and cannot wait to try. Just wondering is there any substitute clay that i can use for this recipe? Since red reef clay is really hard to find in my country. Thanks much
this is genius!!! ❤❤❤
Hi ! Thank you for the video . Can i ask you if i could replace the red reef clay with another ingredient that gives the same color ? :/
awesome😍😍😍
I am soooo happy I found this channel 💖💖
i love listening to your voice it is so calm.
Is it possible to use a different wax in all these homemade beauty products? I was hoping to use bees wax.
+Ella gale what if I do not have clay any replacments
Hi Ela, I'm a new viewer and have been very obsessed with your videos as of late. I'm attempting to get into the whole natural foods/products lifestyle but I would just like a bit of advice. Could you make a video or link me to a previous video with a list of your must-have oils and spices? Keep up the great work, love! ❤️
So proud to find ur channel 💟
Wow!!... So creative😉 the only thing is that I don't have some of these ingredients that ya use😦
I love all this tutorials but i just cant find all the ingredients :(
Try going to a local vitamin store or you can go online to order it
Lidia Garcia do you have a Natural Grocers near you
Buyvat IHERB
Try to use paprika or hibiscus powder! It work at the same way...
I love the beautiful lipstick container that you used! May I know where did you get it?
Farah Yasmine Probably a thrift shop :)
Farah Yasmine I have a container like that,I found it at my grandparents house
where do you get all these vintage makeup containers? They're gorgeous! :)
You can also add a bit of lemon juice to preserve the colour. Love the wine shade. What about making a stain? I'm thinking of trying one with beet juice.
Where did you get that beautiful container you put the lipstick in? l love it.
Dose it have to be red reef clay or can I use Moroccan clay?
hi Ela :) just found your channel and Im really enjoying it ! can you tell me where did you get these cute boxes for your products? thanks :)
Where did you get the pretty container? Thanks luv your diy vids
gorgeous..thank you
frm whr u get tht cute containers..i meed thm bt i m nt getting it in india...
Hi Ela :-) I wonder if there is any difference between red reef clay and regular red clay? I cant find red reef clay here in Germany, but I would buy normal red clay. Would love to get an answer :) Thank you.
Thank you very much.
I'm going to add beat root powder to mine!
Omg it's so cool Ur the best
That shade looks so lovely on you!!! Can it be made with less ingredients? I'm lazy to get several ingredients. I just made a tutorial with 3 ingredients for a lip tint but it's not creamy like yours lol
Do you find that it stays on well? Does it fade quickly?
You're so pretty. 👌🏾😍 and always have easy steps to follow. 😌

I would like to know where you get your lip gloss pots as well as the beautiful container on this video. Thanks you do a wonderful job.
what powders would you use for different colours?
Can I use it as a blush too?
Wow awesome! Thank you. :)
Can I use any type of red clay or has it to be that which you used?
Where do I find the wax and the activated charcoal?
Would this work in a lip balm tube, or is it too soft?
I freaking love your videos there awesome! Lol
You seid it can stain clothes is this only when it's a liquid or can it stain clothes in lipstick form to?
Thank you very much for your video.
Does it stain your lips ? Does the color stay on your lips a long time ?
I used red Bentonite clay, it made the lipstick very grainy...is there is difference between red reef clay and red bentonite? THank you!
If you used a blue /purple pigment would it not be streaky since red colors blend in with your lips but blue wouldn't
Great vid. Where did you get the container from?
Hi, Ela. I wanted to ask you if we can use beetroot powder instead of red reef clay? Because it’s not available here in Pakistan. Waiting for your reply.
where did you get the red reef clay?
could you use this on your eyes too?
can I use just clay and aloe gel and no soy wax or use bees wax?
BEAUTIFUL
Gorgeous
If anything, I would use _white clay_, since I'd want a lighter color. What about beeswax instead of soy wax, that would work too, wouldn't it?
...ok it's just equal parts of everything then, whether or not I add the almond oil? Also, would you recommend mica like from bulk apothacary, or is that not as natural, or would better for eye shadow or something?
Oh, ok. That wouldn't be an issue for _me,_ but that's good to know in case someone else wanted it strictly vegan.
So nice
I love your natural makeup recipe. Is there any alternative of Shea butter
I’ve seen cocoa butter used in place of shea or in combination.
Can I use 1tsp of beewax?
What brand of soy wax beads that you use? I've tried a few of your recipes with beeswax and it isn't quite turning out the way I would like and I'd like to switch to soy wax but I'm unsure of which one to try.
Do you know where I can buy the red reef clay online? Thanks
OMG actually love you
where did you get that lovely container?
