  • The process of "shutting down" (going into shelter-in-place, self-quarantining, practicing social distance) was relatively straightforward: there was a threat and we felt scared and anxious and so we retreated. But, the process of reopening is a lot more complex and comes with many additional emotions. So, on this video, I discuss a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach for making room for difficult emotions as we reopen our cities and build a new normal.
