How can anyone not like this song... it is one of the coolest songs around with a great message. I tried to get my local non-christian radio stations to play it without success...I will keep trying...
My Christian days may be long over, but this is one of the few songs that I still love. I met these guys when I was a kid and I still say it was one of the coolest moments of my life.

I have adored the original since before I was a baby, it is perfectly gorgeous, and I thought nothing can top it. But this... this comes pretty close. My goodness. Especially the rap with the background chords is... chill-inducing. Absolutely incredible.
I think what that person was saying is that this isn't the original version. There are two versions of this song. This one was played on the radio, but there's another version that is the original. I do prefer this one though.
The song is the same, but the intro is different from what I have heard. The intro before the music starts I've only ever heard before the song, "Between you and me." It threw me for a loop, for sure. Which album is this version off of?
