Thanks for posting this Scott. I'm a DP with a small kit not a pro Gaffer with a 3 ton truck. The biggest stand I have is a Kupo 546M Junior boom stand and the 100mm casters for that are only $111.00. They are decent size wheels. Your Matthews Big F'ing Combo Wheels are $807.00. I sure hope they make a big difference.😉 Seriously, I'm sure those are great over grass and loose gravel where my wheels are not. In fact, they really suck as they dig in. What grid are you using on the 4x4? When our little production company has bigger jobs that call for a pro Gaffer, we will contact you as we are in L.A also.
Awesome man. I would love to work with you. The 4x4 LCD is from grip house. And the wheels definitely make a huge difference they allow me to head up my units and roll them from the truck all the way to set no problem. This way I can leave the cases behind to free up space in the location.
I love how UA-cam now is pushing new creators to my feed. Love the natural and raw approach on the video. I would like to know your career story, how did you end up with all of this equipment? and why this gear exactly?
the frame was skinned with Hollywood soft frost diffusion. standard blade frame in a gobo with a 20" arm and another gobo pinned to a cardi on the rolling stand
Thanks for sharing Scott.
Yeah, count me in. I'm digging the less polished look, which by the way, isnt a dis. Content is king. This has a ton of good stuff! Thanks, Scott.
It's nice to see real life BTS. Much appreciated 👍
That big grip setup is nice, I am fighting the idea of going that big. Looking good! Keep them coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Great video Scott. Thanks for the breakdown.

I had to blur my own crack once in a vlog!
Well you know…..you gotta do what ya gotta do.

For sure, thanks for the feedback. I might make a video about my story.
Great video! Always cool to see and learn how others work.
Can you explain the components that make up the 4x4 LCD?

can you drop the link to the carti arm / mount and the white diffusion sheet that was used
Check out the Grip house for diffusion and all my stands are Matthew's
