how can a man express so much with saying no words? how can I man drop tears without an affliction? How can a man stand up when doctors said he couldn't? In these times, dark times, we can still go to our friend, music, to revive the good times, to create stories in our minds that fly with its won wings... with music everything is possible, to lose the fear dor death... remember Orfeus, remember that man created music for a purpose, to express, to share. I hope my english was not that bad.

insieme a queste note posso volare...

    Grazie Ennio.

I am no great person to attend church but i am a catholic and i lecture no person on there there own views but For those who have no faith i tell them listen to this music and see the hand of god at work through those who created this,,,when i have my doubts and questions like all people do,, i like to listen to this as it brings me peace and really is most moving ,,it stirs ones soul,,and to me at least shows me there is beauty in the world,,one has to just look to see it

    1) the name of? the song with the flute solo is "Gabriel's Oboe" - In the movie, the theme is most prominently used when the protagonist, the Jesuit Father Gabriel, walks up to a waterfall and starts playing his oboe, aiming to befriend the natives with his music so he can carry his missionary work in the New World. The Guaraní tribesmen, who have been stalking him from a distance, approach Gabriel for the first time, puzzled by the sounds of the unknown instrument.

when you made a song like this it's not necessary for winning a price but for sharing your passion with other. It's good if you win somthing but the most important things it how people react. this is absolutly wonderful.

Ennio Morricone was a genious and his music is outstanding, that's obvious. But notice also the mastery of this particular rendition: the orchestra and the choir "fused" together, and even the oboe's solo is... not just a solo with orchestral accompaniment; the oboe and the orchestra are playing TOGETHER as one. And the oboist? I cannot find words to describe His performance. I have listened to probably all "Gabriel's oboes" on YT, many of them being great, but here everything is a supreme masterpiece: the composition itself, the conduction, the orchestra as a whole and the oboe's divine interpretation.
