Hello Yve, I really wanted this fragrance but it isn't sold at any Canadian store. I wish it was sold more availably because in almost every Jasmine fragrance review I have seen, it seems to me to be a favourite. I am sure you treasure and and measure your sprays carefully. Not just because your husband dislikes Jasmine. I enjoy Jasmine as a note too. - Jenn
A La Nuit was one of my first niche fragrances. Over fifteen years ago. My bottle I still have is with the black and it doesn’t have any bitterness in the opening. Love this one!
@@yvespiderssmells9956 if you got a chance sample it. I love this smell. It smells for me like orange peel, spice cupboard and forest. I live in Canada so unfortunately I can't send you sample.
A la nuit is so gorgeous. It is dense and intense and narcotic and indolic, but at the same time it is clean and fresh.... I have no idea how they managed this balance. It is a masterpiece. Other realistic jasmines that I like a lot are Olene by Dyptique (cleaner and softer) and Jasmine Antique from Rouge Perfums. For more symphonic jasmines i like Le Maroc pur elle by Tauer and Fils de Joie from SL as well and I am dying to try their animalic jasmine, Sarrasins... That one sounds magnificent
@@yvespiderssmells9956 yes!! You are right in the vid. Serge Lutens does the best "soliflorals" in the market. They always have that elegant but unexpected twist (cumin in fleurs doranger, the menthol in tuberose criminelle). I am dying to try the Lys one, and if you like gardenia, try Une voix noire....Only problem...bell jar collection as well...same as Sarrasins. How much I love serge lutens and how much I hate their bell jars 😑
I bought Datura Noir on your recommendation and really like it. Any chance you would be willing to sell a decant of this one? I really like jasmine fragrances.
Hi Nashira! unfortunately I am not selling any decants of this time. But if i decide to do so in the future, I will definitely let you know. I don't know if Serge Lutens still does this, but I remember I was able to get some samples directly from them for free about 5 years ago when I asked for them via email. I just mentioned that it was hard for me to access their perfumes locally.
@@yvespiderssmells9956 thanks for taking the time to reply. I’ll definitely look into that! Best of luck with your pregnancy. Happy to have found your channel!

Black label
Oh i can only imagine how that smells like!
Jasmine is my favorite note, it’s very intoxicating for me. Unfortunately I haven’t smelled A La Nuit, when I first heard of it it was discontinued
Nice review. I’ve never sniffed this one. I might have to search for a sample, but I have enough of those lol. Thanks for sharing 💕
Thanks, J! if you like jasmine jasmine jasmine, it's a good one.
Really does go well with a dress. 🤍 Lovely review Yve.
A la Nuit is beautiful, although I find jasmin quite a challenging ingredient.
I must try this, I adore Jasmin!! 😀
You know I love some,serge....especially a,soliflore 😉🥰
I will always associate Fleurs d'oranger with you 💕💕
@@yvespiderssmells9956 you know me well. 😉🥰
I have and love Olene by Diptyque as well! Although I actually find it a tad challenging to wear because my bottle is old
Olene is so lovely! I didn't think about buying it until I actually smelled it on someone when I was in Japan.
Serge Lutens is so appealing, love this house. My most unique fragrance is from SL Des Clous Pour Une Pelure
Wow I haven't tried that one!

The gold standard for jasmine scents imo.
I have a FB of Fils de Joie. Have you smelled that? It’s quite heady - Jasmine and honey. Wondering how this compares?
Haven't smelled that one yet, but I really need to. I'm curious how it compares to A La Nuit, too!
