If they had started their pro careers in their teens they would have been 108 pounders or so, then rapidly grew.. JUST LIKE pacquiao did and been able to say they went from 108 to 140 or whatever the case.

@@bondsgoat25 "If they had started in their teens..." Yeah but the fact is they didn't start in their teens. Maybe they couldn't because they weren't ready. You're also forgetting that the other greats are naturally bigger and fighting guys more or less their size. Also, were they surviving in the slums w/ little to no family or friends to support them while starting their boxing career? What makes Pac that much greater is that he fought while malnourished and starved. Forget about training, most people can barely get out of bed when they have no food. Moreover, imagine making less than a dollar for a fight. What could you buy with that? This is what makes Pac the greatest IMO
He became won a title as a starved boy, he was a lineal champ as a growing young man beating men his own size, he became a lineal champ while growing into an adult beating much larger guys than him, and he became the oldest welterweight champ in history as a natural lightweight.

If you put every all time great in the same hypothetical position, is there gonna be a 100% success rate, of course not but the accomplishment could be 100% be duplicated .
Also, there are reasons outside of readiness that cause fighters to not start as pro’s immediately, such as Olympic goals, or Age laws in there state!
