In my opinion you should pause when you have something to say. I never understood the unwritten rule that someone shouldn't pause during a solo. It has become cliche'. Don't worry about pausing, I'd just recommend you back up after pausing so you can catch the full section you paused it. Besides, Band-Maid songs are pretty much all 'unpausable' if not interrupting a 'solo' is the goal ... they are all pretty much doing non-stop solo quality (but still managing to not overpower the song) music in the background if you listen carefully.

One of their best and a perfect example of one of my favorite occasional traits of theirs; a genius post-solo bridge that is good enough to be its own song. Most bands simply use a bridge to slow things down and is more or less meandering filler there simply to regroup before going into the final chorus. On occasion Band-Maid upends the entire song with a hook that most bands would save to make its own song and instead they stick it directly in there and get a feel for this great new sound then somehow blends it back into the rest of the song into this seemingly disparate but oddly cohesive and beautiful mashup of two separate ideas together until the end. It's an absolute mastercraft of music composition.
There is no other band out there currently that produces Awesome music consistently like BAND-MAID. They have more "seek out" songs than anyone other band. ONSET-LIVE, PLAY-LIVE, REAL EXISTENCE-LIVE. There's over 100 more where these come from. Peace. 4.38

It happens to all of us. And the Director of the video I would like to shake his or her hand. I LOVE that interplay of light. And they are 5 parts of a whole package. Without all of them there is no Band-Maid. And they have over 120 unique songs, plus over 30 alternates versions of many of those songs, and I have yet to find one that isn't good. And there are many of their songs which are just as good, yet don't have a MV or LV. You can go to their channel and under the "Releases" tab go through their back catalog. I personally love "Freezer", "Moratorium", "Why why why", "Brand New Road", "Corrlaium", "Matchless GUM, "Unfair Game" and many of their older songs without a video. Seriously just pick ANY of them load it up and hit record on your camera. We will come to hear your opinion on them. As for MV's or LV's, again ANY of their videos on their channel will be a good one. Though the Live videos tend to be better.
You are right about there being no bad song from them. They are awesome. My second favorite band as been Trident since they were known as Girls Rock Bank Kakumei (GRBK for short). They are more of a punk/hard rock band. Spoopy is my go to song for them. If you want to see them when they were still GRBK, then Utopia or Voltage are my suggestions.

Oh my, please do whatever makes sense to you. Your channel, your rules! Support the Content Creator!! I can say that much of the “complaints” or “digs” I’ve seen are only inside fan jokes and meant in good fun (Hail Tiny-hat-san!) Pause as much as you want and comment as much as possible. For me, I can understand your likes and dislikes. (Going back a bit to hit the pause point running again is helpful for following along, though) I agree with you that other bands ought to emulate this. If you do pause to have your say, you can rewind to the start of the solo before continuing.on. After your other BM reactions I knew you would like this one too. As for your next song. You can do Puzzle from their official live video from earlier this year. As for other Japanese bands. Try Lovebites, Nemophilla, Hanabie or Gacharic Spin these are all, all female bands that are getting popular in the US and Europe.
First pause where ever you like. Thats the point of a reaction. Secondly solos as much as we love them its understandable. But you need to pause so your reaction won't be blocked
Check out Hanabie -- Pardon Me I Have to Go Now and Be the Gal. Especially Be the Gal sounds like an Electric Callboy track. Electric Callboy is a German band so you might like it them as well if you haven't checked them out yet.
They really don't have a bad song for me. They just have a way of making a hook that brings me in every time. Their few "slow" songs too. Check out their acoustic video sometime and you will see. I recommend doing the acoustic and then listen to the regular version. Both fantastic in different ways.

Pausing is fine, if you go back. It's the people that talk over solos that the T-Shirt, "Shut Up! Kanami Is Speaking.", was designed for. It's because she sings so very little. It's about the only time she gets to express herself. As for where to go next? That depends on what you're into. They are all over the map with so many influences and well over 100 songs and counting. Rock, Punk, Funk, Power Pop, Metal, Jazz, Traditional, Classical and Acoustic Ballads. Some of that is within one song. What do you like? There is nothing else like 'Blooming'. It's a Power Pop Masterpiece. I'm surprised it hasn't been used for an Anime. However they do have songs that have. 'Glory' was commissioned for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. And their OMV for 'Unleash' has anime of them in it. Their April Fool's Day alter ego BAND-MAIKO has Traditional Japanese elements. If you want the softer side of BAND-MAID try the acoustic version of 'Puzzle' or 'Before Yesterday' or 'Daydreaming'. But if you just want a LIVE banger, 'Play!' LIVE was from the same show as 'Domination' LIVE and 'Freedom' LIVE. 'Real Existence' LIVE was from a different tour. That's just for starters. The ball is in your court. Time to run with it. You have 10 years of catching up to do.
Firstly. Definitely pause and share your opinions during the song. Just not during a solo. Be it, guitar, bass, or drums. That goes for any band. Not just Band-Maid. Secondly. Always put a link in the description, (as you did here) and advise people at the start that they can go and watch it in its entirety after your reaction. Thirdly. I can’t tell you about other artists like them because, IMO, there are none like them and (currently) none as good as them. That’s my assessment from 50 years of listening to rock music! Try the live videos “Puzzle”, “No God”, and “Manners / Black Hole” (that one is 2 songs in one live video).

My two cents : blooming is a perfect Band-Maid song, the third verse with harmonies, guitar solo and all is so great. They are excellent players but they are are the best at creating. No other group like BM, don’t try. There are other good groups like Nemophila,. I would suggest Cross, Moratorium, Spirit live next. About stopping, for me it’s annoying when a streamer stops during a great solo , bridge or chorus, because interrupting a musical phrase without the end is like listening to only half a sentence and have an opinion. It’s not easy to stop a song but you should do it otherwise, practice will make you better at this I suppose. Sorry I don’t want to patronize you. Your reaction is interesting.

If you do pause to have your say, you can rewind to the start of the solo before continuing.on. After your other BM reactions I knew you would like this one too. As for your next song. You can do Puzzle from their official live video from earlier this year. As for other Japanese bands. Try Lovebites, Nemophilla, Hanabie or Gacharic Spin these are all, all female bands that are getting popular in the US and Europe.

Check out Hanabie -- Pardon Me I Have to Go Now and Be the Gal. Especially Be the Gal sounds like an Electric Callboy track. Electric Callboy is a German band so you might like it them as well if you haven't checked them out yet.
They really don't have a bad song for me. They just have a way of making a hook that brings me in every time. Their few "slow" songs too. Check out their acoustic video sometime and you will see. I recommend doing the acoustic and then listen to the regular version. Both fantastic in different ways.

Pausing is fine, if you go back. It's the people that talk over solos that the T-Shirt, "Shut Up! Kanami Is Speaking.", was designed for. It's because she sings so very little. It's about the only time she gets to express herself. As for where to go next? That depends on what you're into. They are all over the map with so many influences and well over 100 songs and counting. Rock, Punk, Funk, Power Pop, Metal, Jazz, Traditional, Classical and Acoustic Ballads. Some of that is within one song. What do you like? There is nothing else like 'Blooming'. It's a Power Pop Masterpiece. I'm surprised it hasn't been used for an Anime. However they do have songs that have. 'Glory' was commissioned for Yu-Gi-Oh VRAINS. And their OMV for 'Unleash' has anime of them in it. Their April Fool's Day alter ego BAND-MAIKO has Traditional Japanese elements. If you want the softer side of BAND-MAID try the acoustic version of 'Puzzle' or 'Before Yesterday' or 'Daydreaming'. But if you just want a LIVE banger, 'Play!' LIVE was from the same show as 'Domination' LIVE and 'Freedom' LIVE. 'Real Existence' LIVE was from a different tour. That's just for starters. The ball is in your court. Time to run with it. You have 10 years of catching up to do.
Firstly. Definitely pause and share your opinions during the song. Just not during a solo. Be it, guitar, bass, or drums. That goes for any band. Not just Band-Maid.
Secondly. Always put a link in the description, (as you did here) and advise people at the start that they can go and watch it in its entirety after your reaction.

I can’t tell you about other artists like them because, IMO, there are none like them and (currently) none as good as them. That’s my assessment from 50 years of listening to rock music! Try the live videos “Puzzle”, “No God”, and “Manners / Black Hole” (that one is 2 songs in one live video).

My two cents : blooming is a perfect Band-Maid song, the third verse with harmonies, guitar solo and all is so great. They are excellent players but they are are the best at creating. No other group like BM, don’t try. There are other good groups like Nemophila,. I would suggest Cross, Moratorium, Spirit live next. About stopping, for me it’s annoying when a streamer stops during a great solo , bridge or chorus, because interrupting a musical phrase without the end is like listening to only half a sentence and have an opinion. It’s not easy to stop a song but you should do it otherwise, practice will make you better at this I suppose. Sorry I don’t want to patronize you. Your reaction is interesting.
Well like all women you took it out of context rule number 1 is never speak or pause while kanami is speaking ( her solo ) thats all but noooo you had to take where it didnt need to go as usual
