Tried both and was very impressed with the Ping nicer feel and very nice to look at, more forgiving and nothing holds its value like a Ping. I was going with Wilson Dynapwr forged but for ease of fitting and back up will probably go for G440. Great review as always many thanks.
Thanks for the review. The looks of both clubs are an improvement over their prior models, but the Callaway looks a bit better to me too. Little to separate them performance wise and done again the Callaway might be top. I would have to test each personally to know, but I am satisfied with my Callaway Mavrik irons.
Great review Fraser! Personally, I prefer the looks of the Callaway -- although I wish it had the brushed satin finish rather than the high gloss appearance. Interesting that you liked the feel of the Elyte over the Ping G440. For me, I'm not sure a 2-yard difference would have much bearing on my choice. Thanks again!
Irons , A , iron B....both are looks good...( Early's years, compared to new irons ....will known,....which irons , do had plenty 's of value added ....)" Money 's....go and stayed....up , up , up ....the irons, of best .....great brands ....not limited, but, values up ....
Good video thanks. Nice that you swing nearer to speed most of us lot do. How much yardage does one lose for each mph less swing speed? I'm old and slow at around 75mph.👍
I’d have to hit them back to back to be sure about feel but I remember thinking the Ai300 was one of the softest best feeling hollow bodied irons I’d ever hit. Hard to say on forgiveness, it’s a test I need to do but my gut feeling is that the Elyte could steal some sales from Apex range. I don’t think the Ai300 will be more forgiving, it will either be the same or slightly worse I reckon.
Yeah unfortunately unless Srixon start handing out clubs to me FOC then it’s unlikely I’ll be doing that any time soon - same with Mizuno - I can’t stock everything sadly.
New sub here, nice comparison video. Suggest showing ball dispersion, not sure if SkyTrack has that ability like Trackman and Foresight ? Not in the market for irons, I'm still content and happy with my 2021 Titleist T100S irons. Fully forged heads with tons of forgiveness thanks to 70-85 grams of tungsten in the heel & toe. My handicap fluctuates from 7 to 10, not that i cant play these game improvement irons, my ball striking with my irons are pretty solid.
I was always struggle with the dispersion part of tests, I feel like the distance average is actually the figure that paints the clearest picture of how forgiving a club is. You can hit anything off line for a myriad of reasons but how well a club holds onto distance to me is the truer measure of how well designed the head is.
A few yards here and there don’t matter to me - feel, looks, sound & consistency are more important so Elyte looks like my next iron set 😇
You won't be disappointed.

Good to hear, surprised you thought Ping feel was better though, I was really impressed with the Callaway on that side.
@ both very nice but the Ping sat nicer gave me more confidence.

Mavriks will be hard to beat on performance but I do think you would notice the feel side of it quite a lot.

Agree actually, I couldn’t give up the feel and looks for the sake of a couple of yards.
The results would be Ping for me -- Te Ping 2 yards further with the same spin and 1 yard higher flight with higher descent angle
They both look good but I give the edge to the Elyte. If they feel "like a forged iron", they will sell a metric ton of these.
Yes, I agree, its the best feeling game improvement iron I've ever felt now I think about it.
THANK YOU for this
Ping definitely looks like they have gone for a longer face (heel to toe) iron as a number of years ago
Yes, it’s noticeably longer, but as I said it doesn’t look bad.
Another nice comparison / review. Always give me a laugh or two with your commentary. Hope you’re able to test the Callaway X & HL models.
Thanks and yes there are an overwhelming amount of videos I need to get through at the moment, will try my best .

Totally……agree, couldn’t (have put it) “better …….myself.

Don't think its a hard and fast calculation because would depend on different launch factors but I would say a couple of yards per mph max.
@golffm6924 thank you 👍
Good channel. Keep it up.
Thanks, much appreciated.
How would the elyte compare to the Ai300? Especially for forgiveness
I’d have to hit them back to back to be sure about feel but I remember thinking the Ai300 was one of the softest best feeling hollow bodied irons I’d ever hit. Would like to see ZXi5 against those 2

@golffm6924 completely understand. Thanks for the work

@@golffm6924 I hear you, dispersion can be more related to the players swing, club delivery, face to path not so much the club
