@@Lashrath Why would you ever do a Paladin-Bloodranger Mystic Theurge? What possible benefit (for an Owlcat difficulty level) could you gain from that?
Guessing the Camellia one, when she gets hot and bothered, she sets you on fire. Seems that'll be in character for her. That cutscene one is great for me. Playing on core, if I'm not prebuffed some characters are instantly dead but I like story and read slow so having that stuff paused is a big plus. The quest thing is dumb though. It's not like the teiflings where well hidden of the maps that big. If it's really that bad people can always look up the answer.
Now that dispelling attack works properly, AT's surprise spell should be an (I think only) aoe dispel and can be combined with Eldrich Scoundrels' Debilitating injury. 4ES 1SSMagus into 10 AT into 5 Loremaster for woljif can be quite interesting.
In regards to Animal Companions and Inventory: is it referring to how sometimes when you would view them in the inventory screen, they would randomly be backwards or way too zoomed in sometimes for no reason?
Mystic Theurge is conceptually such a great class but it is damn hard to make it work in a way that doest feel weak till the endgame. Angel and Lich can do so. I am currently running a Shadow shaman-empy sorcerer mystic theurge with 1 level of arcane trickster for the spooky hands. The shadow over the prestiege class is that its crap unless you merge a mythic spellbook into your build and even then you sacrifice level 10 spells for an extra type of caster (arcane into my shaman) overall not a bad tradeoff considering you would play with level 10 spells for like 10 minutes and this way your build will work throughout the whole game without feeling lame. But a hunter? why would you...
The best way to MT is to do the legend mythic path. Since you get 40 character levels to work with, you can do 15 arcane/15 divine/10 mystic theurge. That way, you'll still get 10th level spells. It also effectively makes you a 25th level caster in both casting classes.
@@SlanderedGaming Hunter (Forester) 4/Brown-Fur 9/Mystic Theurge 7 adds a some nice personal transformation spells to the arcanist spellbook. Lead blades and the aspect spells primarily.
Sadly still no fix to a Kingmaker era bug where all Improved Cleaving Finish attacks are calculated together and then applied, allowing it to re-target a target who has already been killed and ending the chain early. Vital Strike builds might be able to compete with Arcane Barrage builds if this ever gets fixed.
Regarding Magical Vestment. In the Pathfinder Core Book you can "imbue a suit of armor or a shield with an enhancement bonus of +1 per four caster levels (maximum +5 at 20th level). An outfit of regular clothing counts as armor that grants no AC bonus for the purpose of this spell." Magical armour (Canadian spelling, sorry) and shield enhancement bonuses have a maximum bonus of+5. So allowing the spell to add an additional armour enhancement bonus on top of magical armour (or shield bonus for magical shield) would not be allowed. So the spell was not working the way it should (according to the rpg game anyways), and should not be giving the additional enhancement bonus on top of the already enhanced bonus of the armour or shield . As you said in your example, 20th level Sosiel casting it on +3 armour, with a +5 magical vestment giving a total +8). As far as allowing an increase to the enhancement, because of the characters level, it should give an additional +2. As it is only +3 armour, but the spell increases the enhancement to a maximum of +5, it should add the additional +2. I am under the assumption, that in their zealousness (Thank you Owlcat!) to fix the spell, they did not allow the spell to add any additional enhancement bonus. In all fairness it is possible there is some rule that I do not recall, that states the spell won't work on an already enchanted armour or shield.
I think technically what it should be doing is overwriting the +3 enhancement bonus from the armor with a +5 enhancement bonus from magical ventment. both should still be in place while ventment is up, but because they are the same type they don't stack and only the largest of the two should apply. resultsd are the same i know, but i think conceptually it's a better way to understand it than saying ventment still gives +2
The positioning of the pets in the inventory screen was wrong. If everyone was facing forward, the pet would be facing backward at an angle. If you rotated the pet forward and switched to another character to look at their inventory, the characters were then backward. It was annoying. Glad it was fixed.
I'm looking forward to playing this game on the xbox slim but dreading the amount of bugs that will come with it, just like kingmaker did. Love all the videos.
My elk animal companion is not only not getting a free trip attack with gore, and also not using its hoof attacks during a full attack while mounted. My animal companion got a downgrade instead of an upgrade.
I do not play on Unfair. Maybe these general tips will help: Use turn based mode for all fights Give Lann levels in Sacred Huntmasman to gain an animal tank Use all your scrolls/potions Give Camellia the ice hex and buy the Cleric item that will give her an additional +2 AC Put a wizard on your party and give them as many slots of grease as possible Set Ember to repeatedly use Slumber
That may be true but keeping outdated mods installed can flat out prevent you from being able to play so I felt it was worth calling out. After the last patch I couldn't level up until uninstalling Toybox.
Respectfully disagree on the “dogs objectively best” bit. The big cat ones have always been best as Pounce is such an amazing ability. Don’t get me wrong, trip is great, but there’s so much that just gets to be so effing high up in CMD vs trip because of multiple legs, trip animals just don’t feel as good as an animal who can pounce and rend.
Pounce and rend just work whereas with Trip you need to add on several other things to make it worthwhile. I'd argue if you do those things Trip animals are better but agreed it's not nearly as simple.
I'm not going to lie, on my THIRD playthrough of act 1, I couldn't find those mongrels. I had the whoie map explored. I find that because you can rotate the map the maps aren't designed to be viewed from any specific angle which can make urban maps very difficult to navigate and find everything. It's not going to hurt anyone to signpost it. It's an unfortuante complication that the map geography is so luscious and gorgeous that there's lots of visual obfuscation so you start spinning it around and it gets disorienting and sometimes I have trouble finding stuff I know I'm standing on top of if I can't find it by pressing tab.
Another great video and I always look forward to them.Because they are always very informative, and you always tell it like it is.So thank you so much, and please keep up the great work that you do!
It was definitely a bug, but honestly - anyone who goes Mystic Theurge out of a Hunter is dangerous and must be ostracized from society
Paladin-bloodrager mystic theurges should be alignment limited to chaotic evil...
@@Lashrath Why would you ever do a Paladin-Bloodranger Mystic Theurge? What possible benefit (for an Owlcat difficulty level) could you gain from that?

no, i thinks it's intended for her to be a soulmate like wendaug, like a fully flushed out romance. not her running off, going see ya!

Oh wow didn't know about that bug.
I’m still using a wolf as Daeran’s mount because he wanted a lamb instead of a pony so I make his mount a wolf named Lamb.

Yup that's what makes me think it is broken. It should be adding that +2 but of course not going over +5.

5:07 does this apply to Bismuth? if so the figurine has become an even better item.
Great question. I would assume so but haven't tested it.
additional trip to animal companions is HUGE
I agree.
