Are you doing rc summer camp this year? I would love to go i just cant visit the old site please let me know your my favorite youtuber and help me a lot with rc cars and mini z racing!
I'm a glutton for punishment with this class I think. I picked up the SCT410SL to see what it can do at 318. Big outdoor 1/8 track should put it through its paces!
Want one of these. Hard when the other is on such a good sale! But I like the idea of this being a bit lighter. And looks like it’s more controllable on the air - our track has large 1/8 jumps.
Great video mark ! It’s gotta be cool to have one of the fastest guys in the planet in your corner 🤙🤙🤙 I hope you get some podium finishes in this season brother !🇺🇸✌️
Whats up Mark! Have you made a video in past that explains how RC races work? Like the process of qualifying and A main vs B main? Just thought that might be a fun idea for you!
Hey Mark… how about carpet? Some of our popular local tracks are carpet now and curious to get your thoughts on how this truck would do on both high bite black carpet and also turf? What kind of changes do you think would be necessary? I just got a used TLR SCTE 3.0 set up for carpet but I also wanna run him on some of the outdoor dirt tracks also as we have a smaller 1/10 scale track close by and also some bigger 8th scale dirt tracks. I’m still new and curious as to the difference in set ups. Great content as always man!!! 👍🔥👍🔥
I just baught one. What speed control and servo do you recommend? If it doesn't come with a body then how do you know what one fits? It's my first short course truck Thanks man can't wait
You will be able to get parts for many years. Even after my et48.3 was discontinued I can still get parts on tekno rc website over a year later. I have yet to have problems finding parts for my teknos. And or ebay also
I got it and I run outdoors on 8th scale tracks, hard packed and loose and my 410.3 is way better , it definitely needs the exotek weight in the rear and a few changes, but the ass end likes to come around, the shocks in the rear are so soft that when you hit the face of a jump it donkey kicks and flips it over uncontrollably. kinda annoying but I'm working with the platform, and trying to tame it down. It's definitly nimble but needs to be on a 10th scale track with 10th scale jumps otherwise it just doesnt work as good as the 410.3.
@@gotmesom the only thing I haven’t changed yet is shock pistons. I’m still not satisfied but it’s more fun than before. I have the same problem as you described. I recently glued my side walls to hopefully tame the side traction but I’m not sure if my suspension changes will fix forward bite yet. I know it’s possible because I see other people get forward traction. Depending on how the next track day goes I may go back to stock and start tuning from a blank page
@Cole Staples I added exotek weight in rear, that helped a lot. Changed roll ce ter in rear hub and angled shocks out and changed the inner tower mounting positions. Now it doesn't lean over so much and it's calmed down a lot. The track I'm at is low grip hard packed dusty 8th scale so that doesn't help. On med to high grip this truck should be good. I may go up in shock oil. But wanna try sway bars next. It's almost there.
@@gotmesom yeah I don’t know the first thing about tuning for low grip. I’m having the same issues on medium to high grip clay. If I ever get it dialed in I’m definitely making a set up sheet for it. I seriously have changed so much I don’t want to write it all.
Nice! Thanks, Mark & Jared!! Wish we ran more SCT here. In Omaha it's only ProTek & INS.
That driving before the credits.......so, so cool
I'm so envious that there is an indoor off-road RC arena. This is a great video.👍👍
That place seems super sick, An OG Redcat Kaiju would be amazing to wreck some havok on the race track. You should pick one up and try it yourself.
Really nice set up always good information
Good afternoon brother cool track enjoy the weekend
Very nice driving! You should bring the crew to Hooiser RC Hobbyplex for the next big race.
Very nice race oriented review. Definitely a welcomed addition.....
Love the review and having you talk with Jared. Very cool. Driving me crazy hearing you call it a CAR. It's a TRUCK! LOL
Great video! Awesome to see a couple of pros testing together. 🤘
That track looks so smooth from up top. Only when you get right up on it did I realize it was rutted up

That rig looks so smooth! I’m glad your figuring out the new rig Mark good luck brotha🤙🤙🤙

Damn, the way you hit that triple in the intro looks so smooth
What shock oils and diff oils are you running?

I could never get the nose to dive on my cars 😂

Thanks man can't wait
In the same position, I got the rx 8 and pro 4hd for my electronics then I also got a proline servo
Protek*
Just finished mine. Can’t wait to hit the track with it
I just got one, my first sct, what esc are you running thanks
@@glenncarlson3161 I’m running a tekin rx8
I wish we had a track like that in my location !!! If you live in Portland Oregon there is only a maybe a couple of RC tracks. It really sucks !!!
What do you think the product life cycle will be for this truck?
I want something that I can get parts for 5+ years.

@@glenncarlson3161 Sounds like they are exhausting inventory. Do you know if parts are still in production?
What diff oils you using .
❤ Rc car.
Usually to drop cooling I go up on pinion. It also increases time run.
That body needs some armor
Why
sct is almost a dead class where I'm at, looks like a lot of fun. problem no one runs sct 2wd or 4wd .
What is up mark
I would run 2 pole 6.5 turn it would be really fast
That's what I ran in my Et410 conversion to a short course truck
What is anti-squat?
@sauliluolajan-mikkola620 Thanx

I’m really surprised how much I’ve had to tune my car before I liked it
what all did you do, i had to do a lot as well. it has a lot of side bite and ass end likes to come around

How much money do you spend editing?
Where is that track at
If this is the best 4wd sct what's the best 2wd
100th 👍
