Awesome. Just built my ET48 2.0 and it was one of the easiest I've ever done. Only issue I had was the threaded shock adjusters being a total nightmare that took about 30 minutes themselves trying to spin them on and off, on and off always wanting to cross thread. The Tekno SCT is the only one I'm missing but still not sure if ill get one. I've built a car for each class 10th scale offroad, Oval and now 1/8th scale offroad. And I don't even have local tracks here in Upstate NY. Soon as one build if finished its on to the next one like a bad addiction. Think I'm finally starting to wake from the fog of it all.

Not totally sure about the new car but if it broke that fast in the support member, it probably needs beefed up. For me I would stay with the old on lack of power to keep car level in jump & the bracket that broke. Won't it still break even if it lands on that bracket . I think it will. Thanks for video

So I scored a 410.3 like a couple months ago. It is great. Simply great. But it is heavy. Like "it's a tank" heavy. Based on this quick look, I'm assuming this new one is significantly lighter which is super nice. But there's a new champ in town. Tekno. As good as it gets.

i always thought that tekno was known to be tanks.. i was really looking to drop buggies and move into sct next year , having my 2wd mod built already and getting a tekno for 4wd but that kinda scares me..
pretty common issue with the EB/ET. Contact the guys at ProStar RC. They have been running this platform for a while with their own chassis. They're currently working on a bulkhead solution.
@@bradtate158 get the Losi tenacity TT pro or db pro. Has over $200 worth of upgraded parts then the slash ultimate for less money. Even has drag brake. You can check on my channel and you can see me beat a tekno sct with a stock TT pro. Only upgraded servo and tires. We had 5 racers that were Traxxas all day. All bad Ultimates. None of them have them anymore. They broke so much and we're just wild. Im still using my og Losi TT pro from 3 years ago at my own track and have the track record. Everyone has now moved to the TLR Typhon. Which is the 2nd best choice for outdoor.
I own every tekno that's all I drive the new eb48 2.0 and 2.1 I have broken 4 bulkheads in 3 weeks don't know what they are doing differently but my older et48.3 and sct 410.3 have never broken a bulkhead and I have had them 4 years come on tekno don't get cheap on us now 🤔

Tekno made the light weight chassi . Pro star has that modification chassi. They also have the 2wd conversion.

I put a little shock oil on the shock body when i thread the shock collars on. It helps but still kind of tough.
Cut the o ring into a c. They stay tight and go on easier
Cut a segment of oring out. I raced with Caleb noble and jayden Jamison this weekend just gone. And we all cut the oring

Slash is a basher but can be raced if you have the class.... this is a purpose built race platform ;)
