I have not ridden across anything yet!!!
Well, I take that back; I have ridden across the state lines of Ohio and West Virginia.
I wanted to say that since I live in Ohio and have lived in West Virginia most of my life, riding in 40 degree weather is simply adding a base layer and a “winter” armored jacket and heated grips!
I rode from my current residence in Ohio(Marietta) to Clarksburg, WV once in temperatures in the mid to high 30’s and had base layers and waterproof bibs with heavy gloves that have insulation on the back of the hands l(no insulation on the palms) and are designed to work with the heated grips!
It was fun , but getting into and out of the bibs a couple times was a bit of a challenge!
Did a 20 day trip across country. Got a GoPro to record to share with family and friends. One thing is schedule your time to do six hours riding a day if possible. I rushed through trying to ride many different routes to see and record. Did too much riding and not enough stopping and enjoying. Rode in temps from high 40's to 112. Saw some amazing roads and scenery that I want to go back and ride again but will probably fly in close to a Eagle Rider dealer to save time next time around. Most days were 8 to 12 hours in the seat. The last few days were brutal physically and emotionally. Took me several days to recover. Stay off the interstate as much as possible. 2 lanes are the way to see America. Best adventure ever! Would not trade it for anything but will do it different next time. Plan ahead because summer times have many hotels and campgrounds at full vacancy. Some National Parks require a "vehicle registration" which you have to "hopefully" get months in advance now to enter and you can get the details at their website (It's BS but it is what it is). Posted rides to UA-cam for family and friends and this is something I could NOT do full time. Much respect for the motorcycle vloggers out there who do this full time. The videoing and editing is like a second job. I will stick to my day job thank you.
100 percent recommend eagle rider, I've rented both an RnineT and a road king from them. super nice, super professional, and they keep their bikes MINT. PS the roadking was an orlando rental. Blockhead introduced the world to Sugarloaf, and I can definitely recommend that route as well.
Longest trip i go every year here in Romania from Cluj-Napoca to Timisoara for a bike fest,about 315 KM
I did a cross country from Maryland to Arizona when I moved back to AZ to look after my folks. It was my first and so far only cross country ride, but it was really great! I did it on my 14 SGS which has now morphed into a 21 RKS!

I love that you’re the same way around the guys at the shop and on rides as you are with your girl. Just shows you’re a genuine person, and just are who you are. You don’t change when the camera turns on.

And FYI - hitting the road DOES NOT feel good.
Last summer i did a quick 4 day, 2k mile rip to the smokies, and then a 2 week 5300 mile ride west to colorado, then north to glacier np. It was an epic road trip and i was solo for most of it. Going up around lake superior in august. 11k miles last year, hopefully more than that this year. Cant wait. America is beautiful! 14 flhx with almost 80k and not 1 bit of trouble so far. Just wind and bugs.

Hey blockfam, havent watched in a while. Been subbed since the OG how to on the iron. Had a bad shoulder injury that i had to end up selling my bike and it caused my motivation for any motorcycle content to drop to zero over the being upset. Recently have got to where, after being in the gym and getting my strength better than prior to the injury. The want for a new bike and really get back to dailying a bike is super strong and so glad to get back to watching yalls amazing content

Peace! 2 thrills in one. riding a motorcycle across America. Nothing richer than that. My husband and I each rode from Pueblo, Co to Key West, Fla and back in 2 weeks time. 4400 miles. we rode bikes for 11 days and a rented golf cart in key west for 3 days. The day I got home I wanted to do it all over again. Amazing experience for both of us.

That is a great ride. I have done it a few times but never on a bike with a fairing. Last time was on a 07 Fatboy with apes. I have done the same thing with my phone and said the same exact words 😂
