No need for a wrench just use these pliers and strip the shit out of it.haha
Thank you. I have used the same amp in the last 4 cars never had this problem of a poor ground I forgot sometimes you need to sand the area for better contact
This video was super helpful thank you for this ...
Great Video! Super helpful, Thanks
Goated!
Having the same issue but I have a small ground which is connected to two other grounded body control modules in the trunk and I’m getting pulsing sounds so I guess I’m going to have to run a ground wire directly from the front of the car to the back
I am your biggest fan
MY MAN!! when I first saw this I rolled my eyes when you started talking about the ground wire bc I personally installed my system and I knew I installed my ground right. but I said fuck it and just decided to check anyway AND THE GROUND SCREW WAS LOOSE. I tightend that sucker and BOOM everything is sounding so good again 😩😩😩thank you thank you thank you. also invest in a light my friend yo shit dark as hell😂😂👊🏼
Your Welcome and when I start making money off UA-cam ill buy the light just need 1000 subscribers first.
LOL same for me
Yo u aint gonna get 1k subs if ya shi is soo dark nobody can see wtf u talking about! Invest in yaself my man if bass is youre field you need it anyways to work even in the day time my boy!;@@RevampAutoStudio
I have a 2015 Honda Accord it came with all wires and etc I connected it all but is it normal when park and playing music and the lights from the inside dim and when I step on the gas pedal the sub plays weird I think it’s what your saying what do you think!!!! I hope you still get this notification
YOUNG GUNNA WUNNA LETS GOOO
My problem was the noise cancellation mics😡😤 (anc)
Bro you need to use a light just dark as hell other than that good vid
Thanks for the tip
You know what let’s put the rubber back on first 😂
what are you talking about i literelly put the rubber back on and taped it????
My subwoofer is humming when i blow horn...how to fix it?
Just when I accelerate, my engine sounds through my speakers, would this help if I make a better ground?
That's the exact same problem I had and yes after I grounded it properly it is working better now, if not just go to your local mechanic shop and ask them to remove the mics because that is a common problem as well.
My subwoofers rumble when I accelerate, will doing this help?
It worked for me, hope it does for you too, good luck!
I have a 2021 Honda Accord Lx and my aftermarket subs making a humming sound when the windows is all the way up but goes away when I let them down or when I open the doors
Did you ever found out what it was? Mine hums when i close the doors😒
@@SantegoRemixessame, think it’s the ground
I’m having this issue with my car right now, so after watching this video, I am going to see if the wire is grounded properly
You work backwards Bruh! Crimp it first then tape it then put the covers on.
Doesn't really make a difference, and I crimp it with the covers on so that the rubber doesn't slide on, if I crimp it and put the rubber on it's going to be lose and slide off.
I feel you but to kill all that ,Use heavy tape and heat shrink. I’m not knocking your swag brother!!! We in this together. It’s all about preferences and what works the application. I like to use a combination of sports tape electronically tape and heat shrink!!! After experimenting and experiences my method definitely work for me. and my lug and wire meetings hold integrity forever!!
Time to bass boost my honda civic
That sounds good to hear, let me know if you need help on installing your subwoofer.
Today I’m going rewire my suv again
Damn next week I have to rewire my truck 3 rca 1 4g 1 0/1 g with distribution block and 1 new amp almost all day working 😢
Lower your LPF on the amplifier to around 75 and it’ll stop the humming
I think this is the issue for me because I touched that setting and now it doesn’t stop humming
First my woofer was humming when I acslrated but now it's popping too pls help me out
Hi, I used to have this problem too but after I grounded it properly I do not have this problem, in your car, it could be the microphones that are causing this, you can go to your local auto shop and they should be able to remove the microphones for you.
@@RevampAutoStudio thanks buddy 👍 love from India 🇮🇳 😘
I did this but it’s still makes noise when I accelerate. Any other options?
Gregory Rolle check the RCAs and make sure they are not running on the same side as the power and ground
Cn7ate9 they are but Audio store said that’s not the issue. I been there Friday any it’s a settings in my factory radio I have to keep turning on every time I start my car. It’s works now
@@gregorymoss6 Make sure that you sand the surface so that the amplifier is getting grounded on bare metal otherwise the electricity won't be grounder and it turns into noise through the amplifier
.
Gregory Rolle what exactly did you do to fix it? I’ve sanded mine down, moved the ground and everything possible. But still makes that noise
Can I have the Big 4 upgrade on my truck and recently started making a bad acceleration humming and buzzing sound I tried everything in the world to fix it, tried all the UA-cam hacks and ground isolators. Turns out my Big 4 chassis ground loosened up a little. Re drilled the whole and used a bigger Bolt and abracadabra it fixed the problem
Wow ur so cool 🤣
Thanks man hope you enjoyed the video! Stay tuned for Sunday’s new video.
Good information. But improve your lighting.
Noted
But usually when u start driving it comes back
Did it come back when u drove it
The noise cancelling bro. Take that out
Ya I got it !!! Thanks
@@jayjb833 did u took it out from the back of the radio?? If not its gonna come back
@@jayjb833 the whole harness
song and this worked for me ?>
I'm happy it helped out.
Gunna “baby berkin”
Who tf hooks up a ground like that? 😆
Who the Fuq doesn't use a light..🤣
You didn’t crimp it and heat the shrink wrap!
Yes your right, I didn't have the tools at the time.
I didn't even get a full or minutes into this and I had to stop it because this guy does not know what he's doing he knows a little because he had a few people who may have shown him a few things but obviously they were not professionals eater if you have questions to ask someone who gets paid to do this I have been doing car audio for almost 30 years and I still go back over some of these videos just to refresh my memory on a lot of things he's going in the right direction but he's doing a poor execution of the job
What is he doing wrong
How would you fix the problem?
oo dark
This did not work
🤦🏻 bruh were you learned to hook up a ground cable, first car audio for idiots 🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻
Lost me when you tried to justify using pliers.
You should definitely do some research before you start using tools and saying things
Dude , you have done so much wrong , first you need a fuse in your trunk ...you need to crimp that lug before taping it and it should be a copper lug. And never use pliers on a battery if they slip and they touch the positive you won't have a battery to hook a system to. The reason for that noise is usually due to RCA connects being run near power and not shielded . There is a lot misinfo here . I hope you have learned more since this video your probably just new to the hobby back then .
I do not need a fuse in my trunk actually because I have the fuse coming between the battery and the subwoofer already, I don't think it makes a difference whether I put it on the front end or backend. I use the pliers in a certain direction for a reason, highly unlikely that they slip all the way to the other side and have enough charge in them to cause a short, I am working on the negative terminal, barely enough charge there to charge up the pliers when and if I touch the positive terminal. Also I know that usually the noise is due to the RCA connects being close to the power but I already checked that and turns out I was correct, the reason for the noise was due to it not being grounded properly. Appreciate the feedback but not really necessary to list things as if i don't know what i'm doing.
What do you mean by Rca connects close to the power. Can you please explain I have checked the ground . It’s good. But my sub woofer is still making noise while running. Please help.
Horrible job lmao
