Re the question about respecing: It;s bad for new players for respeccing to be inaccessible at lower levels, ESPECIALLY, for a game as overwhelmingly complex as Path of Exile. New players who don't understand the game well enough are going to make plenty of mistakes with their first build. Once they realize that, if they don't have the option to go back and make changes, and their only choice is to start a fresh character, they're going to feel like their time was wasted, and quit. New players need to be able to correct mistakes and experiment if they're going to play without the aid of a build guide. Again, that's especially true of PoE where the margin for error is incredibly small and the skill tree is exceedingly large.
Respecting in LE is pretty simple, you pay in game gold for your passives at any point and for skills you just remove points then gain xp which will now be on a boosted amount for the points you removed to catch up on the xp. If you go wrong with builds in LE its very simple to change it.
You had a question regarding why Zizaran made summons as a Squirrels. He had some wild squirrels coming to his backgarden (backyard) and he and his wife were feeding and observing them. Eventually his wife more or less "trained" them to not afraid if them; eat from her/his hand etc.; So he was really uplifted by this and decided (together with his community of course) to make minions as Squirrels. Smol lore dump right there....
Last Epoch is fun to play. My only true complaint is that you have to run the storyline to get some things: - All your idols slots - Your remaining skill points - Locations of the endgame dungeons I have 920 hours into Last Epoch. It is a fun game. And this is my personal opinion. I'm not denying that LE is a well-made game. But LE is so overrated by people because of a lot of hype.
If im being honest, I think anyone who enjoys arpg's and does not play Last Epoch is just dumb. Look how dope the game is at launch........ Imagine how itll be in a year. I definitely am going to be apart of the first cycle/league/season. Their team is so dope..... Completely listens to the community. Going to grind it heavily. So hyped to be apart of the first cycles Merchants Guild, the auction house is going to be insane 😂
It's not bad to be locked in your choises and build path. The issues is when as a new player you do not make educated choises. And a lot of people do not have that kind of time for trial and error. We want to be on path which will make an OP cahracter mid/late game.
the problem with respeccing in PoE is you can get all the way to your 60s with a build then a few levels later you hit a wall and come to find out your build isnt viable past that and you scuffed it all the way back in your 20s, now you gotta either remake a character or spend hours upon hours grinding for orbs of regret just to undo what you messed up,
For me, its way better than D4, and not as deep as POE. Its the perfect game to dive into when I am done with POE leagues and want something fun and slightly more chill to play for a little while until the next POE league. I had hoped that D4 would be that for me but the game is just not improving. Ive only played two characters so far in LE but both were vastly different playstyles and speeds, and both were fun. Im excited for the launch.
I don't like fake news classes either, class identity is important to me in games such as this, because they all have their own flavour of power fantasy. Last Epoch is a recommend from me, middle ground between Diablo and PoE is a good way to describe it. Bit in some aspects it's even ahead of PoE, like crafting, built-in loot filter, respec etc. And it's only the beginning.
The thing some players are going to struggle with is the combat is kind of clunky. The animations feel off and skills don't have the proper feel to their impact. This is something I also struggled with mightily in Grim Dawn and PoE had some issues with in its first couple of years but eventually smoothed it out. I think probably the best part of D3/D4 is how smooth the combat feels in those games. Last Epoch has been out for 4 years now and has never gotten the combat to feel right yet, I don't know if they ever will.
Some abilities and talents have synergy and scaling with each other, some abilities can be used indirectly with the help of others, and not directly, if the corresponding talents are taken. Be sure to use alt key for a more detailed description. Alt key worketh everywhere: on things, abilities, talents. Some abilities have weapon requirements, so ye need to read them carefully. Mastery cannot be changed, but other masteries is not completely closed, only half. So, in addition to main mastery, half of abilities and passive talents from other masteries will be available to ye.
If you’re looking for fun game play and a variety of play styles this game is definitely it. If your more of a I want to spend hours in character customization then this game is not that, and that’s ok but since I’ve started playing it I have had a fun time and for me that’s what I was looking for
No Poe for me comming from a new player perspective i hated it the gameplay was fine but not being able to craft my own build because i couldnt respec early on was terrible Last Epoch in this regard i was able to experiment from lvl 1 Alot of new players quit POE because of that aspect and also the giant passive tree that not many are going to understand.
you earn favor with the trade 'faction', and you get in-game money for selling items. There's no 'play to earn' systems, no way to 'cash out' and get real money.
About lootfilter - its not overwelming after watching 1 guide, but its still eats your time .. Like for each character to create my own precise lootfilter ive sped 30-60m and it wasnt enjoyable experience . BUT other point is that - then more we play and share lootfilters ,then more it will be able to download. Some "issue" its that community have to create some "standarts" for lootfilters. For example someone see divines in poe like white, someone like yellow/green/blue and it can be disturbing
There is no character customization in this game, like majority of arpgs out there. Why? Because you never see your character again as soon as you get gear. This isn’t an mmo
It's not that bad but it's still a hassle honestly, getting all the gems (either buying or lvling) relinking or recoloring your Gear. You really can't do it on the fly like in Last Epoch, especially early. Not saying one is better than the other tho, just different design choices.
mapping at the end those new playing gonna get real bored real fken quick they making crafting such a big deal LOL but comes with big consequences and can bring ur item or gear and the grind is real POe has the best crafting these content creators always try to sell the win in a game but forget the L's
@@LPJMANGA Maps/atlas was not at all exciting to me... it's almost exactly the same thing as D4 nightmare dungeons (randomized mods on a stock map set). Yeah, if you go far into it you can tune what side activities show up, and make drops better, etc... but it's just more complicated form of D4 NM dungeons; boring randomized mods on a stock map.
@davidskidmore3442 you have to understand diablo 4 went kind of a mmo way but if they didn't implement that strategy I'm sure it would be different game all together The fact there is helltides/ legions / bosses / uber bosses Dungeons rifts The world map / strongholds / events etc D4 has alot to offer within 3 seasons Nd bound to add more in the future Poe was like this for years until they added more acts instead of doing the same 3 acts over and over like diablo 2 increasing the difficulty Anyways each to their own All im gonna say LE gonna get real boring real quick and the servers are gonna be the biggest issues as they still can't fix it after it so many years

Yeah! We should learn playing the game, not reading a build guide.

Path of exile 2 will now use gold for respec, it will be cheap at lower levels and more expensive at higher levels
@@nativezero I agree! I've got around 150 hours in the game, and I've loved it so far.

I bet in my left testicle that all these PoE streamers that hype LE will probably play LE for a week or two, and go back to PoE
new poe league is end march so at least a month

6:00 question.
You are absolutely right. But QoL should be accessible, to some degree.
Making it hard to respect in POE means most people brick their character in the campaign and just quit.

@@Pandemonium088how is it a wrong topic? Gender is fucking part of character customization, that’s the first damn step ….
I dont play POE because of the respeccing.
Totally fair. which is too bad because once you understand PoE's economy, respeccing becomes trivial and totally accessible.
@sadistical5787 I change builds all the time. PoE doesn't support my style of playing, which can change literally level by level.
1 hour of work can yield you an entire character respec. Like early game, once you're in maps. 8 hours into a league. that's day two for most people.

They are changing that in POE 2 btw, even the devs finally agreed that hard respec is bad
The customization ruins it for me lol. It's a very good game though regardless
nah, you only play shit KR P2W stuff
Luckily for you , this isn’t p2w OR Asian. 😂
Still no real end game? Mapping is it?
