It's one of mine too. I think I know what he's referring to though.] If you've ever really belted it in the shower, it's really hard to get to the end of the chorus with air left in your lungs. Especially if you are singing the shantyman's verses. There's barely any time to brerath in, and you really need to fill your lungs to get to the end of the chorus because there's no breaks to breath during it. I ususally sing other shanties in the shower for that reason, even though it's one of my faves to listen to.
The version done for Assassin's Creed requires some immense lung capacity for the shark verse. Glad This version includes a few more breaths so I can easily sing it myself
You know you go check UA-cam thinking it will be the same old stuff. Then suddenly you see The Legend aka Mr. Dagher has posted a new video. Instantly, you smile and think man, just when I thought my day couldn't get any better. It just did! Thanks for another great song and video!
THIS RECORDING IS ABSOLUTELY DIVINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - also! I have a special request! Make sure to take a few videos / pics this year with your motorcycle!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you still ride that RE!
If you’re still stuck for pubs in Eburg Sean, try Teuchters on William Street (good selection of real ale) any updates on what time you’re on at the festival? Hope the trip is going well!
Saw your performance on the HMS Unicorn yesterday, it was a real joy! The sounds of the bird feet on the roof of the ship added a real texture to the performance :D
Late to this, but glad to see you in Scotland. Something about it grips you, and never lets go. The first time i saw the Celtic Sea, i felt i was home.
Awh man, just found your account. I’d like to say thank you for your work in Assassins creed. As a youngin I loved sailing the seas to the greatest shanties! Brought me a lot of joy!
Song's been stuck in my head for days and here comes the best shantyman with his rendition~ Hope you're staying warm up there, and much love from British Columbia
So nice to see you back again, fine sir! It’d be amazing to see you, Nils Brown and Michel Schrey (sorry if I misspelt it) singing more sea songs and shanties!
This is one of my favorite shanties in Assassin's Creed Black Flag. Shocking, you hated singing during recording.
Yeah, I honestly can't belive it... This was the one that got me into the shanites in the first place!
Could you drop it again with just you???
It's my favorite of any and every shanty I've ever heard

Fish in the Sea is honestly one of my favourite shanties to sing. It's just the perfect bad-weather song.
It's my favorite of all time
Have fun in Scotland, Seán!!!!
Another great pick featured in Black Flag

One of my favorites from Black Flag! Surprising that they managed to lose all the files though, that's wild.
Sounds great! =D
What a great shanty! I always enjoy your sea shanty even if it's hard for me to understand them
(I don't speak English but I really enjoy sea shanty)
Sean, long time no see. Where have you been? Nice to see you again.
God to see ya again Sean.
If you are taking requests at all, I'd love to hear Jolly Roving Tar someday. Easily my favorite.
Enjoy Scotland!

Are you working in a remake of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Sean? 👀
