Glad it fits your playstyle! I cannot do bots with such limited range. Prefer the scorcher or slugger for range n responsiveness of the weapon for faster pacing
I could see the Blitzer being a really solid pick to go along with an AMR or AC providing overwatch support on bot missions, basically to pull out and swat berserkers if they run up on you. All that said, I'm actually pretty fine with it being a bug-centric weapon. We have lots of weapons that are better against bots and less specialty weapons for bugs.
i really do love the 'real world weapon' intro you give these videos :) i would argue that the arc thrower is closer to a juiced up electrolaser than the blitzer. obviously ignoring how much power you would need to not only arc 25 m out (in the thrower's case) but then to arc to secondary targets, and just in general make huge arcs. its the future tho and we have FTL travel so we can say its possible. the blitzer seems to be more just a juiced up tesla coil based on its multiple arcs seeking out the closest 'ground'. many tesla coils that are powerful enough and given a breakout point do look like how the blitzer fires. except for the fact that you still need a way to direct it. all that to say, given our current knowledge on physics, you are correct. a laser superheating a path to your targets is the most likely way to get an electric arc to your target. the blitzer just doesnt look like it which is what made me yap for so long. maybe a extra super power laser that diffracts into a bunch of beams in a cone area that superheats a bunch of channels? idk! obviously this is a sci-fi future world so it doesn't really matter but electrolasers are much less jumpy, and very directed. there's also the magical power to not arc back to the real closest ground, your helldiver. something with enough potential to arc to enemies 10m away would much prefer to just jump to your arm or leg. but hey who cares
I try my best with the realworld ice breaker segments haha, I'm always concerned i'm a bit off base if I were to give my presentation to someone who's actually knowledgeable on the subjects so, this was a very informative read. Makes me wish I put more time into the segment to get that conclusion about the tesla coil
The Blitzer was already amazing. As long as you had an Autocannon or some method to deal with harder targets, you had a primary that: 1. Aims for you, can effectively be hipfired while running away like an SMG. 2. Has enough damage to evaporate the light automatons and light armored bugs, and can arc 1 to 3 of them per shot. If the bugs like Warriors and above might tank one shot, they just need two. 3. Has a pretty deceptive range. 30 meters ain't too shabby. 4. Penetrates medium armor? Somehow?? (Sadly won't kill a Strider to be fair) 4. *NO AMMUNITION REQUIRED. IT IS FUELED BY RAGE ALONE.* I'm genuinely concerned it's gonna get too popular and they're gonna nerf it back down, now- but you still have to get seriously close to your target, so I hope that prevents some people from abusing it the way I do lol I really like it with fighting bots. Maybe I'm just crazy.
@@EravinVTI been using it for a couple weeks. It’s by far the best primary in the game. So they didn’t mess it up. Pair it with the laser rover or better yet the shield. You wreck the bugs with it.
@@OZRETH Nah they don't just nerf stuff like that, they want to encourage variety, even if their nerfs are a bit excessive in how they are handled I doubt Blitzer will become so popular to warrant an immediate nerf, it's not happening
As a day 1 blitzer main I've never felt more unstoppable. I was already getting crazy kill counts before the buff so now I can only imagine how crazy those kill counts will be.

I genuinely appreciate the info and I hope you will get the recognition you deserve broham, I'm happy to have been here early on.
Have you seen how the Punisher Plasma now blows you up if you're wearing an energy shield? Something with the recent patch must have messed up how the two interact
Hey Eravin, its so exciting to see how much youve grown since. It hasnt even been that long and you are almost at 10k subscribers, I remember when you merely had a 1000. So happy for you bro keep up the amazing work, much love!
also a good thing I'd say in options in hud settings, change reticle visibility to visible so you don't need to aim down sights to see where the rounds/shots will land also allows to see where you're gonna ping without needing to ADS
I love my electrical weaponry~ The arc blitzer was my favourite primary to go to on the bug planets, I was quite saddened when my beloved blitzer crashed the game for a week or two and had to wait to use it again… I love the weapon so much - great visual effects, animation and sound!
I've been in love with the Blitzer since it launched and the buffs are so good. It's such a fun gun when you get used to the targeting cone. Also if enemies get too close the gun will be unable to hit them as the lightning will appear too far away to arc backwards at the enemies, so diving backwards and firing can be a huge help. Something that helps with it targeting corpses is to aim way above the enemies so that it arcs down to enemies. Basically imagine the cone as a literal cone and try to aim the very bottom of the cone at whatever is still alive.
Hold on, stalkers heal while they're invisible?! that explains so much! I had one go invisible on me with the blitzer, and then it just kept leaping over me back and forth as I kept shooting it, it took foreveeer to kill, like way over 10 shots probably closer to 15, I don't think I was hitting with every lightning bolt but at least some of them hit as I noticed it stagger every time it landed, it was honestly quite terrifying seeing as they're practically invisible now.
Your reviews are really well done! I always learn something despite having over 400 hours. Thanks. With the new update, I went for the plasma punisher (helldive) and it has become my main versus the bugs (and a fun, viable choice vs the bots now with the update...maybe a new video?). I then tried the blitzer and I still prefer the plasma punisher versus the bugs for its range, huge stagger, and aoe damage. It has distinct advantages that you can smash a breach from afar, push back crowds, crush the egg missions, and do good damage to heavies with broken armor. I feel with the blitzer, you are always backing up vs a group, hunters leak in between the low rate-of-fire shots, you cannot pick the hunters out of the crowd consistently, and it often misfires on terrain/corpses. Some of the jungle maps feel unplayable with it. As you pointed out, it oddly needs to face the bugs for the aimbot headshots to work, which is a small, but occasionally negative factor when you are flanking. Both have friendly fire potential so I consider that a wash. I know you did an awesome PP video before the patch. Can I trouble you for your thoughts on it now, especially comparing it to the blitzer vs the bugs?
I haven't had time to pick up the plasma punisher yet since it's update although i've heard good things, it's biggest draw back for me was it's explosive damage fall off was preventing bugs from dying to it in one blast. unsure if that's changed. I'll get around to trying it out possibly on stream today
Pump action animation not needing to be completed so you can do whatever else during it, but this is true of all weapons afaik. Even the Eruptor doesn't require you to do the animation, you just have to wait the time out between shots, regardless of what you do with the time. If you shoot it, swap off, and then quickly swap back you can watch as the gun pulls its own bolt back into place. The only animations that I've seen holding you back from doing something are the reload animations, including the final step of chambering a new bullet on empty reload for the weapons that applies to. But once your mag on the hud shows it's full, the game mechanics only require a static cooldown between firing, even if it's accompanied by an animation like pulling the bolt on a rifle.
Weapons with medium pen and infinite ammo are going to so valuable in the future with the increase to spawn rates in this recent patch. I hope we get secondaries like this.
Arc Thrower has always been my favorite Bug support weapon, with the ability to handle just about anything and the stagger force to keep the hordes back while killing them all the while. Can't believe I hadn't tried out the Blitzer before but now that I have, I am giddy. An Arc Thrower in the palm of my Primary slot that can do everything the Arc can but Kill Chargers (albeit slower), allowing me to run my favorite Bug Team Support tools of the Recoilless and Spear? I'm in love
I love the blitzer. Infinite ammo, plenty of push back, zippy zappy, and now even faster rate of fire! So it stuns stalkers, blows up heads of the armor head bugs, fries small bugs, and doesnt require absolute aim to hit. 😅 so allows quick spam while focusing on other tasks. How to deal with larger groups or heavier enemies? Well titans/chargers dealt with 500k. Carry flash nades with engi kit. I prefer grenade pistol to assist with groups or holes. Need larger group damage or armor damage? Any anti armor but I prefer autocannon or air bust rpg. Need even more damage? 120mm or 380mm barrage will assist in clean up. Oh and I prefer dropping mech on bugs to deal with shriekers
I found a good degree of success with this pairing it with a recoilless to give me some long range punching power. It performs very good as a way to clean up survivors that come after you from in front of you, but the fire rate and remaining targeting jank still makes it weaker than other options in the middle of a close range brawl where enemies can be coming from all directions. If your playstyle is highly mobile and brings enemies to you to fight on your terms, it's great. If you like to throw a shield pack on and bring the fight to their face, I think you can put together a loadout that works better for that.
Blitzer + quasar is pretty damn good in my opinion, Never have to worry about ammo, When a tank comes along just hit it with the quasar and if need be run around for a bit until it recharges and hit it again, all the while crowd controlling with the blitzer without fuss, Only problem with the blitzer I have is dead bodies blocking the shots and it's not great against stalkers, not bad but not great in my experience, I usually use the smg secondary for those.
Oh ok, I get why the arc fizzles now. I had my suspicions, but now thanks to this video I'm pretty sure those stacked corpse and other geometric stuff in the way tend to intercept the shot which is the main reason why I steer away from these. Autoaim is the automatic drive of shooting games, it's a nice feature to have, but I like my manual transmission.
I've been finding the Blitzer to be really useful for the current crop of bug missions, but I'd been switching to my support weapon for the heavier units. Given what you're describing here, I may well just go for a Blitzer + Quazar + shield + Titan build against bugs. I did not know that ADSing pushes the initial point forward 1m. I'm in the habit of ADSing for every shot, and that explains why I couldn't seem to hit hunters in point blank range. Really informative video!
I love the blitzer for bugs because if we happen to get unlucky with mission RNG giving us spewers I can comfortably take them out. If they fixed the dry fire and corpse attraction this gun would be perfect. On the stalker note ive noticed while it does stun them its much less time then any other enemy resulting you giving them just a long enough gap to whack you with their tongue if you're too close so try to keep the distance up.
Video posted 1 minute ago? Hot damn. Yeah I wanted to love this weapon before, but it was just way too dogshit. I didn't even think the 50% fire rate boost could save it, but I turned out to be wrong. I actually like this gun a lot. It's not S-tier by any means but I think it can comfortably sit in A tier alongside many, many weapons. Sprinting away and hipfiring behind as you go is a hilariously effective strategy. It sounds completely bizarre but it's actually really good. *all vs bugs vs bots, don't. Just don't
I literally bought this weapon the day before the patch, tested it and it felt underwhelming. As soon as I saw it being mentioned in the patch notes, I rushed to test it again and it's almost perfect. The new fire rate helps so much to clear the small thrash mobs now. It's a blast to use now. The only big drawback is still the corpses blocking the shots but at least it's relatively easy to avoid on most missions!
Once they fix the targeting of dead bodies for the blitzer and thrower, the arc weapons are gonna be solid. The blitzer has decent damage but the inconsistency is the main thing holding it back.
The lack of arcing through enemies makes soooo much sense. I was using it on the recent missions as I figured why not try out the buff (I don't usually play bugs) & was a little confused on why everyone was raving abt it. Go figure!
It looks more like resistance welder. It shoots current arc, I assume DC, from negative (gun) to positive ( bug) . Resistance in the bugs' body creates heat resulting in bug being cooked.
I used to loathe blitzer with burning passion but tried it today and i'd say blitzer is in a good spot now. It subpar to punisher and such in terms of raw damage output on close distance but its wonky aimbot allows to hit targets that might be unreachable for other weapons. It used to lack stagger and RPM to be a decent weapon but after the buff i was able to fight back 3 stalkers with it which is a feat not every gun is capable of. It biggest downside is how bad it is against horde of chaff bugs and how good it is against your fellow helldivers but at least it is fun to use now. It excels at killing medium bugs including bile spewers which it has just enough stagger power to interrupt during initial phase of their spew. Oh and one quick addition: it has ZERO penetration so any object like wire fence or small shrub that would give you no headache with most other weapons are essentially impenetrable wall for blitzer. So i would recommend to only use it on desert-ish planets.
It absolutely needed the help, but I wish they would’ve gone in a different direction for the buff. Rather than making it shoot faster, I wish they made it chain to a bunch of enemies, so it would be a super slow, but insane crowd control weapon. I feel like the Blitzer should be stronger the more things are in front of you. That’s a niche that would both make sense and be unique to the weapon. Hell, make the arcs split for ultimate coverage. The lack of fire rate, range, and single target damage against enemies that are submerged in the crowd would keep it balanced, without making it suck. I also feel that this would make the weapon’s name even more fitting, as it would be less suited to drawn out, stagger locking engagements, and more viable for a blitzkrieg, closing the gap before the enemy can react and dropping an electrical nuke on every small enemy in the general direction of “that way,” at the cost of being unable to sustain that kind of devastation. It’s still fine as it is right now, but I wish it had the chaining property of the other electrical weapons and was balanced around that.
can we have an ingame training simulation mode? where we can just test out weapons and practice hitting as well as learning the weak points of our enemies?
My biggest issue with this gun is when the bolts DON'T come out of the gun... like some invisible wall in front of me. Happened when I was over run by the little ankle biters.
gotta love how the single target arc thrower only has 5 more meters of range. With this buffed, there's even less reasons to ever use it imo. Just don't see any actual use case for it that other stuff doesn't do better anymore. Also, real shame this doesn't get the extra target arc. Would make it an actual monster vs bugs for CC, but also make it possibly dangerous for allies nearby
last night a team mate was using the blitzer and guard dog rover I was using the punisher plasma and guard dog rover we utterly dominating hordes of bugs on helldive difficulty both of us had over 400 kills we just stood side by side about 10 feet apart staggering and decimating mobs was so much fun we used primary weapons 99% of the helldive and stratagems for big badies
Oh hey. Nice quote 😂. I have a love/hate with the blitzer. Love the weapon, hate that it requires being on a bug planet. It’ll be awkward when I drop into bots after a vacation and I don’t check/change my load out.
I used this weapon when it got buffed. Tried it on level 7-8 with no death somestimes. Recommend shield backpack in case you get jumped by a bug. Most of the time, i pair it with a railgun to deal with heavy armored enemies
hmmmm. interesting, well then i know the next weapon i'll be unlocking. never got the blitzer yet, and i need a bug killing weapon. good video, very informative as usual. see you on the frontlines helldiver.
Since the Adjudicator has been buffed and you said it had a quiet noise profile in a previous stealth video, could you cover it again against bots? I feel like it could now be a solid stealth pick, but i could not find any other Video about it that was posted after the update...
I’ll consider it but.. with only 10 less recoil idk how much will of changed besides the additional ammo. It’s break points were less then impressive before but I’ll give it another try
@@EravinVT thank you, I can imagine that it is not the best or not a very good classical primary, but as a stealth weapon, does it need to be that? I mean, if all goes well, you won't need it for normal engagements. Also i think it could be a kind of viable alternative to the plas 1, at least until you unlock it. (I'm still missing about 750 Medals and that will take a while, but maybe this could be a good placeholder?)
The thing is crossbow and DCS are way better stealth weapons, and after trying the adjudicator again I found 0 merit running it over DCS. The buff it got lets it 1hko Devastators which is massive
blitzers is my most played weapon these days. I can recommend everybody to run it vs bugs. Blitzer/Rover/Incendiary nades/quarsar and no hordes of bugs gonna stand a chance. im farming so hard with that loadout.
It feels great if you're not seeing an abundance of hunters. It struggles against them. Running and gunning feels great, stopping the spewers from puking feels great.
I feel like it more often then not can keep up with hunter swarms rather well, but I also run personal shield vs bugs to be pseudo invincible to hunters
@@EravinVT Yes, shield is king. Been running RR a lot lately, so no shield. Without shield, you get slowed by them, and can be surrounded easily. The gun requires movement, and shield is great for keeping you moving. Good video. I appreciate your more in-depth tests on these guns.
Ive been using it with a high mobility setup with light armor and Jumpack and is really nice for bugs. pulled a quad kill with 1 shot multiples times on Hunters, still way better to deal with than Eruptor and Railgun
Can you do another breakdown on the plasma punisher? It was my favorite gun to use against automatons before the update, and now it feels even better. People are absolutely SLEEPING on this thing! In fact, I expect it's going to get nerfed.

The true power of the weapon? They had to basically buff everything about this weapon twice what it was to get people to even notice it.....what are you talking about?
I was really surprised being a lightning lover I had to test it when it came out and I was very disappointed and just didn't have a good time I hated the thing but saw they buffed it figured i'd give it another go with low expectations and wow I genuinely get good use out of it+arc thrower sure I'm fucked if there's a bile titan or walker but that's what my team is for as for ad clear I'm tearing shit up arc thrower for most situations or if something is too close I swap to blitzer is it the best setup? probably not, is it fun, absolutely
This thing is awesome. Just played a few games on Helldive and with a jetpack, you can kite enemies forever while killing tons. Ridiculous how good it is
Mmm the assault rifles are all pretty useless, I took it out today just to reconfirm and there wasn’t a single moment I got full auto value vs just using the DCS/Crossbow/Jar/Scorcher for bots. It might not be awful but it can’t compete with the top rn
Oddly I found it more useful against bots than bugs since I wasn't dealing with massive piles of corpses blocking off my ability to get more kills. The bugs just swarmed me faster than the RoF of the blitzer could keep up

same. scared the nerd hammer will come to it, an it wont be to its fire rate.
Stagger removal 😂
@@EravinVT I fear this the most. Just like with the Slugger. Used to love that weapon, but now, it simply has no real reason to use it.
The excitement in your voice about this gun makes me so happy. The blitzer absolutely slaps vs bugs!
Coincidentally me too 😅
i really do love the 'real world weapon' intro you give these videos :)
i would argue that the arc thrower is closer to a juiced up electrolaser than the blitzer. obviously ignoring how much power you would need to not only arc 25 m out (in the thrower's case) but then to arc to secondary targets, and just in general make huge arcs. its the future tho and we have FTL travel so we can say its possible.
the blitzer seems to be more just a juiced up tesla coil based on its multiple arcs seeking out the closest 'ground'. many tesla coils that are powerful enough and given a breakout point do look like how the blitzer fires. except for the fact that you still need a way to direct it.
all that to say, given our current knowledge on physics, you are correct. a laser superheating a path to your targets is the most likely way to get an electric arc to your target. the blitzer just doesnt look like it which is what made me yap for so long.
maybe a extra super power laser that diffracts into a bunch of beams in a cone area that superheats a bunch of channels? idk!
obviously this is a sci-fi future world so it doesn't really matter but electrolasers are much less jumpy, and very directed.
there's also the magical power to not arc back to the real closest ground, your helldiver. something with enough potential to arc to enemies 10m away would much prefer to just jump to your arm or leg. but hey who cares
As long as you had an Autocannon or some method to deal with harder targets, you had a primary that:
Somehow?? (Sadly won't kill a Strider to be fair)
4. *NO AMMUNITION REQUIRED. IT IS FUELED BY RAGE ALONE.*
I'm genuinely concerned it's gonna get too popular and they're gonna nerf it back down, now- but you still have to get seriously close to your target, so I hope that prevents some people from abusing it the way I do lol
I really like it with fighting bots. Maybe I'm just crazy.
Yeah i'm a bit worried for it with how nerf happy things have gotten
@@EravinVTI been using it for a couple weeks. It’s by far the best primary in the game. So they didn’t mess it up. Pair it with the laser rover or better yet the shield. You wreck the bugs with it.
I'm so happy that the Blitzer got this buff, it was underrated and not very flexible before but now it'll shine on the battlefield!
And it’s gonna get nerfd TF next patch the way AH is going to
@@OZRETH
Nah they don't just nerf stuff like that, they want to encourage variety, even if their nerfs are a bit excessive in how they are handled
I doubt Blitzer will become so popular to warrant an immediate nerf, it's not happening
Me too, it was a decent weapon for bugs before and now it’s excellent
I hope so
@OZRETH oh sweet summer child. Xbow wasn't popular and it got an aoe nerf.
Now THIS! Is the type of weapons breakdown I’ve been looking for since the game released! Instant sub.
appreciated :D thanks for watchin
As a day 1 blitzer main I've never felt more unstoppable. I was already getting crazy kill counts before the buff so now I can only imagine how crazy those kill counts will be.
Yah I loved it before and now it goes so wild
"No Ninja Palpatine builds"
Damn, I laughed so hard when you said this. Glad I wasn't drinking anything at the time.🤣
UA-cam finally suggested your channel, and I'm so glad it did. The hard numbers and armor penetration stats are wonderful, and I appreciate that you avoid silly categories like coolness. Subscribed, commented, and liked.
Thank you, helldiver.
I for the life of me can't figure out why this dude isn't more popular... He honestly is my favorite helldiver content creator, this dude needs more recognition, even other content creators reference his videos when they talk about subjects.
I genuinely appreciate the info and I hope you will get the recognition you deserve broham, I'm happy to have been here early on.
Have you seen how the Punisher Plasma now blows you up if you're wearing an energy shield? Something with the recent patch must have messed up how the two interact
just happened earlier tonight to me
Yeah I saw that, wild bug
what a shame, since that projectile speed buff absolutely makes the gun much more better
I wonder how that bug even came about? It seems totally unrelated to the weapon changes
Yeah punisher plasma is garbage vs automaton and explodes inside your own shield.
I like how you snuck that Giant Dad reference in there.
Give 'em the ol "well, what is it"
lol
Hey Eravin, its so exciting to see how much youve grown since. It hasnt even been that long and you are almost at 10k subscribers, I remember when you merely had a 1000. So happy for you bro keep up the amazing work, much love!
Very thankful for the position I’ve made it too, thanks for watching 😁
Can’t wait to use this and the arc thrower. Arc for distance and blitzer when they get too close
Yup, running all arc now with ems mortar, blitzer and arc thrower. The bugs play my game now
This thing was really strong in its niche before the buff. Glad to see it's getting some love from the community now
Yeah it absolutely pops off now, great at what it does
also a good thing I'd say
in options in hud settings, change reticle visibility to visible
so you don't need to aim down sights to see where the rounds/shots will land
also allows to see where you're gonna ping without needing to ADS
I like to feel it out, feels more cinematic
@@EravinVT fair enough, just being able to see how charged up the shot is is quite useful for stuff like arc thrower without needing to scope in
I love my electrical weaponry~ The arc blitzer was my favourite primary to go to on the bug planets, I was quite saddened when my beloved blitzer crashed the game for a week or two and had to wait to use it again… I love the weapon so much - great visual effects, animation and sound!
agreed, they are ver cool
I've been in love with the Blitzer since it launched and the buffs are so good. It's such a fun gun when you get used to the targeting cone. Also if enemies get too close the gun will be unable to hit them as the lightning will appear too far away to arc backwards at the enemies, so diving backwards and firing can be a huge help.
Something that helps with it targeting corpses is to aim way above the enemies so that it arcs down to enemies. Basically imagine the cone as a literal cone and try to aim the very bottom of the cone at whatever is still alive.
I think the fire rate is 1 shot per 1.33 second (0.75 shot per second)
yep, my mistake the RPM is right though so, is what it is
Hold on, stalkers heal while they're invisible?! that explains so much!
Yep! They heal while invisible, that's why they feel like when they come back it's a whole new stalker
@@EravinVT thanks
Nice breakdown. Matches with my experiences. Learned something new about the armor pen.
Glad it was helpful and thanks for watching
Arc pistol would be interesting
@@EravinVTmaybe this variant could act as a taser akin to the old stagger effect from the arc thrower
Man the breaches and drops getting crazier that I wonder if I should bring the localisation booster more
I was very pleasantly surprised after testing this weapon after this update.
Same! big turn around after spending all of yesterday on the Railgun
2:14 I had a double take when he said “sorry no ninja palpatine builds” lmao
:)
Fantastic weapon and solid load out choice
I found a good degree of success with this pairing it with a recoilless to give me some long range punching power. It performs very good as a way to clean up survivors that come after you from in front of you, but the fire rate and remaining targeting jank still makes it weaker than other options in the middle of a close range brawl where enemies can be coming from all directions.
If your playstyle is highly mobile and brings enemies to you to fight on your terms, it's great. If you like to throw a shield pack on and bring the fight to their face, I think you can put together a loadout that works better for that.
My go to is the shield pack as combining the two is very close to god mode on bugs
Love your content. Keep it up!
thanks :D and thanks for watching!
In my experience, for devastators, it will target the weak point at the bottom of the torso. Not the head. I've only used this for automatons😅
Oh ok, I get why the arc fizzles now. I had my suspicions, but now thanks to this video I'm pretty sure those stacked corpse and other geometric stuff in the way tend to intercept the shot which is the main reason why I steer away from these.
Autoaim is the automatic drive of shooting games, it's a nice feature to have, but I like my manual transmission.
yep, its the same with the arc thrower
if you can funnel bugs into a choke point and slowly move backwards while hip firing goes insanely hard
Great overview, thanks Eravin!
No problem! Thanks for watching!
Petition for Eravin to make a detailed tier list on primary weapons, strategems, support weapons and armor
detailed list as in, all the stats?
I love what they did with it. My current favorite primary atm tbh.
Yeah loving it for bugs
Anything that handles hunter swarms well is a godsend. I've been trying the buffed Scythe and while it feels great, it still seems to fall flat there.
agreed
I loved the Blitzer before and this buff is just perfect
same
I've been finding the Blitzer to be really useful for the current crop of bug missions, but I'd been switching to my support weapon for the heavier units.
Switch Quazar to EAT for Difficulty 9, if two of the teammates have EATs for Diff 9, u would be A-Okay.
This is the Blitzer I was hoping for when it came out
same
Ive really been enjoying this paired with the recoiless
good option!
This content is awesome! Subscribed!
Awesome, thank you!
*all vs bugs
vs bots, don't. Just don't
Do it. Bring the Blitzer vs bots. Become a madman like me.
It was pretty miserable xD
yeaaaa
I literally bought this weapon the day before the patch, tested it and it felt underwhelming.
As soon as I saw it being mentioned in the patch notes, I rushed to test it again and it's almost perfect. The new fire rate helps so much to clear the small thrash mobs now. It's a blast to use now. The only big drawback is still the corpses blocking the shots but at least it's relatively easy to avoid on most missions!
Yeah I love it for anything not defense
I love your channel, brother. Thank you for putting in the research for us
For Democracy ✊🏼
Thanks for watchin em! For Democracy indeed
Once they fix the targeting of dead bodies for the blitzer and thrower, the arc weapons are gonna be solid. The blitzer has decent damage but the inconsistency is the main thing holding it back.
Usually don’t have to many issues with the bodies unless I have to stay still like on defense or eradicate but yeah it be nice to have it fixed
The lack of arcing through enemies makes soooo much sense. I was using it on the recent missions as I figured why not try out the buff (I don't usually play bugs) & was a little confused on why everyone was raving abt it. Go figure!
Yeah, it definitely doesn't feel great to have 30m max range in bots when we are lucky to find a rock for cover every 60
@@EravinVT probably going to become my main whenever I play bugs, but the sickle is my baby for bots and it will stay that way :)
Fair enuf
Dayum. Guess it's finally time to try this thing out.
Indeed
It’s still fine as it is right now, but I wish it had the chaining property of the other electrical weapons and was balanced around that.
can we have an ingame training simulation mode? where we can just test out weapons and practice hitting as well as learning the weak points of our enemies?
man I wish
I fought stalkers with it just last night and I found they could and did consistently hit me between Blitzer blasts.
Arc-Thrower in shambles sadge
last night a team mate was using the blitzer and guard dog rover I was using the punisher plasma and guard dog rover we utterly dominating hordes of bugs on helldive difficulty both of us had over 400 kills we just stood side by side about 10 feet apart staggering and decimating mobs was so much fun we used primary weapons 99% of the helldive and stratagems for big badies
These two happens saw a massive come up for sure
So excited to give this another try, it was mad disappointing prior to this buff.
I liked it before but now I love it
Oh hey. Nice quote 😂. I have a love/hate with the blitzer. Love the weapon, hate that it requires being on a bug planet. It’ll be awkward when I drop into bots after a vacation and I don’t check/change my load out.
Yeah I don't think theres a primary thats so awkward to go back to bots after vacation with
I used this weapon when it got buffed. Tried it on level 7-8 with no death somestimes. Recommend shield backpack in case you get jumped by a bug. Most of the time, i pair it with a railgun to deal with heavy armored enemies
If you aim higher it somewhat negates the corpses problem.
It's funny that i prefer using blitzer than arc thrower, just keep moving and tasing bugs is really fun.
yeah arc thrower is... in a bad spot these days
hmmmm. interesting, well then i know the next weapon i'll be unlocking. never got the blitzer yet, and i need a bug killing weapon. good video, very informative as usual. see you on the frontlines helldiver.
🫡
Huh, I always thought the blitzer tracked towards the center of mass of the enemies and the bugs heads were just in the way most of the time, neat.
Yep tracks to the head hitbox
blitzers is my most played weapon these days. I can recommend everybody to run it vs bugs. Blitzer/Rover/Incendiary nades/quarsar and no hordes of bugs gonna stand a chance. im farming so hard with that loadout.
Can confirm this weapon is absolutely cracked versus bugs! Wouldn't be surprised if the damage was tuned down a bit in the future 😏
that would make me ver sad
Thanks n thanks for watchin
Small on-screen text mistake at around 3:00. 45 rpm means 1.33 seconds per shot, not shots per second. It's 0.75 shots per second.
yeah my math was inverted, I put the mistake in the pinned comment
Next patch is gonna give it a max range of 10 meters if people don't keep quiet😭
wouldn't be surprised haha
it will get buffed again.....the devs like this weapon; weapons the devs like get buffs, ones they don't get nerfed to uselessness.
@@SmoggyFroggy balancing is not their strong suit no matter how they portray themselves to be.
Ive been using it with a high mobility setup with light armor and Jumpack and is really nice for bugs. pulled a quad kill with 1 shot multiples times on Hunters, still way better to deal with than Eruptor and Railgun
very fun build to run, light armor is BiS
man your avatar / model is cool af
thanks :D very happy with how it turned out
Can you do another breakdown on the plasma punisher? It was my favorite gun to use against automatons before the update, and now it feels even better. People are absolutely SLEEPING on this thing! In fact, I expect it's going to get nerfed.
I did one a little bit to recently to cover it again I feel, I thought about doing a video covering all my thoughts on the changes but didn't want to do a "reading the news" style video. It is a good bit better though
ok but why not use an explosive primary and the arc thrower?
Because this doesn’t kill you for using it or need reloaded
How has the patrol spawn buff affected your solo play?
I had a bad time where I kept getting chain killed even on the lower difficulties like 4 or 5 and couldn't run away from the enemy without catching the attention of another patrol.
It's definitely more difficult but manageable
I liked it before the buff, So I’ve been loving it since. They really need to fix the arc weapons not working sometimes though.
There is usually a reason for the misfire, not a good one but a reason
The buff feels so good for it
Agreed
Finally someone is seeing the true power of the weapon it never change before the update only now it shots a bit faster it's still a powerful weapon!! I been using it since release and the weapon never fails me add a Guard Dog with it and your a 1 man cleaner!
Yep I’ve always liked it and used it, so getting a buff I was excited to try it
The true power of the weapon? They had to basically buff everything about this weapon twice what it was to get people to even notice it.....what are you talking about?
Depends who you ask, this is my second video on it and I’ve used it on stream everytime I go on bug vacation before the buff.
That’s all that really matters, that and spreading democracy
I really hope they fix the Arc weapons hitting corpses...
This thing is awesome. Just played a few games on Helldive and with a jetpack, you can kite enemies forever while killing tons. Ridiculous how good it is
agreed, fantastic weapon now
Can we get a review for adjudicator now that it's actually good now?
I don’t think 20% less recoil really changed my feelings on it tbh
@@EravinVT Well it also doesn't run out of ammo as fast anymore too, it feels good to use now. Also highest damage per shot for assault rifles
Mmm the assault rifles are all pretty useless, I took it out today just to reconfirm and there wasn’t a single moment I got full auto value vs just using the DCS/Crossbow/Jar/Scorcher for bots. It might not be awful but it can’t compete with the top rn
I love this weapon, but having to tap fire it thousands of times a mission is putting me on the fast track to carpal tunnel XD
call these bugs simon cause they boutta get their minds electrified
Oddly I found it more useful against bots than bugs since I wasn't dealing with massive piles of corpses blocking off my ability to get more kills.
The bugs just swarmed me faster than the RoF of the blitzer could keep up
I have been double arc’ing this week. It’s fun! I hate to be the guy that wonders how long until they nerf this one too.
its unfortunate thats reality now
I use this vs bugs and its great. Been trying to figure out whatsecondary to pair it with.
Dagger vs eggs?
Senator ?
I liked just having grenade pistol for nest closure
