Great explanation of the benefits of horizontal carry. This would be good for smaller knives, and I'm pretty sure that Anglo-Saxon and Norse peoples used to carry larger saxes (their word for knives) like this but behind the back. What many now call the 'scout carry'. I find it hard to get over just how durable the tip of your knives are. Experience suggests that they should just snap, but they don't. Like a long suffering husband, they just take the abuse and carry on.

@@darylbrenton4839 hahah it’s true, I’ve been really disappointed with factory knives and the durability of their tips. Snapped the tip of my Cold Steel recon tanto in a stump, and snapped the tip of my Falkniven F-1 in some piece of wood in Cambodia. Thanks for the comment!

Hey there! This one sold for $299. Without the file work wouldn’t take that much off the price since it doesn’t take me too long to do, so probably $285-$280. I can be flexible though so if you let me know what you’re willing to spend I can let you know how I can accommodate that. Marsfireforge@gmail.com you could email me there and we could chat more if you’d like.
