@@Alicia-xc1nq When they are stuck on the mushroom surface they will not ever reproduce. Maybe an insect will land and accidentally pick some up and transplant them but that a long shot, but that's how nature works. I take a napkin and wipe some off a place them on likely looking logs.

I found an older reishi today in central Florida. Can I still use it in a tea?
You have to wait until Reish bear spores so it can spread for next seasons instead of harvesting young ones.
