😊🙌 I definitely try my best. Thank you so much Jim! I'm hoping to do it again next week but hopefully I can get on a bigger school. It was fun though. And I can't get enough of this new cameras clarity
Thank you so much!!! That means alot to me. They sure are a riot on ice. I want to do it on the west side. I know every harbor and marina over there will be loaded especially big browns
Might be best if Rick free spools his line when you get a large fish on. Thats what my buddies and I do and we have good success putting the fish on ice. Great show!
😊😊🙌 thanks man I love targeting them. Its amazing how many steelhead and salmon are still cruising the coast in the winter. Bet the westside around marinas and harbors would be insane
Hey man great video I was out there today out of linwood got a few nice perch solid 8in of clear ice where did yall go out of if u don't mind me asking and I was in around 10ft of water
Nice video and catches, do you have any tips on how to catch whitefish ice fishing, and where? I asked you a year ago and you gave a great answer but I've forgotten some of the fine details
Thank you so much!!!! They're actually pretty easy to catch through the ice. I like to use orange ice jigs tipped with waxworms. They readily feed under ice especially around any rocky bottom or boulders. They hunt around them for food
Start with a black and chrome number 7 jigging rap. Or a blue color rap those are solid colors. Tip treble with a Minnie head or minnow running a stinger helps alot to and pound bottom. You will get fish but will be tons of sorting
#6 or #7 jigging rap, black/chrome, blue/chrome, purple, wonder bread are all good colors. Tip the bottom treble with a minnow head and get ready to sort thru a bunch of 8-12"ers
Hey!! The smallest jigging rap style lure you can get away with keeping vertical the better! It all depends on the current which can vary even through the day time. I've done really good on pink colored ones and fire tiger. Always best with a minnow head on the bottom treble too. I've also done good on jigging spoons down there like the Northland macho minnow. Same thing with a minnow head
@ alright thanks I’m new to fishing Saginaw bay any suggestions on where I could try on the west side to get walleye or steel head I don’t need a specific spot just a general idea on where to go if you could that would be awesome thanks
Letting those ads roll, hitting that like 👍 and ready to watch the show.
I just said on your last live are you going to Saginaw bay, and sure enough, you did,,thanks for another nice show
😊🙌 I definitely try my best. Thank you so much Jim! I'm hoping to do it again next week but hopefully I can get on a bigger school. It was fun though. And I can't get enough of this new cameras clarity

It's so much fun!!! I have some videos on here of me catching big ones salmon too
This season is turning out to be pretty good.
Best weve had in a long time
What a beautiful steelhead, I got on a meal of nice gills today before the blast of cold. Definitely going to make some ice.

Thank you! I'm so glad you guys enjoyed this. I was worried with the lack of big perch in the video. I'm going to target them this weekend

Nice work LT!❤
Thank you😊😊🙌
Another banger LT!
Thank you so much!!!!
I see you are using those dewalt cases I sent to you. They make excellent tackle storage cases and love how they snap together.
Yep! I was bringing 3 of them loaded with plastics but it adds too much weight to the bucket so I've been bringing one at a time
Heck ya. Gonna try my hand at lake st Clare this weekend. See if can get my son on some decent perch
I hope you do great!! I'll be perch fishing a couple lakes this weekend
Stay on em LT.
🙌🙌🙌
Bro...was excited to see you catch a salmon! What's up? Especially in Saginaw Bay..
😊😊🙌 thanks man I love targeting them. Its amazing how many steelhead and salmon are still cruising the coast in the winter. Bet the westside around marinas and harbors would be insane
Good job! You ever fish outta pine river or palmer rd?
Thanks! I have but never done good at those places
Hey man great video I was out there today out of linwood got a few nice perch solid 8in of clear ice where did yall go out of if u don't mind me asking and I was in around 10ft of water
Thank you! I wish I had gotten into better fish for this one but I'm glad you liked it. We went out of linwood too. Few days ago
@LTOutdoors15 nice well congrats and be safe out there good luck tight lines
Nice video and catches, do you have any tips on how to catch whitefish ice fishing, and where? I asked you a year ago and you gave a great answer but I've forgotten some of the fine details

@ ok thanks for the tips, how deep do you fish?
How deep was bottom when you got the stealhead?
4'
I'm fishing the saginaw river soon for walleye. What size and color jigging rap or similar bait do you recommend?
Start with a black and chrome number 7 jigging rap. Or a blue color rap those are solid colors. Tip treble with a Minnie head or minnow running a stinger helps alot to and pound bottom. You will get fish but will be tons of sorting
Blue and silver or red and silver have been good to me in recent years. Size W5 2 inch & W7 2 3/4 inch depending on current
#6 or #7 jigging rap, black/chrome, blue/chrome, purple, wonder bread are all good colors. Tip the bottom treble with a minnow head and get ready to sort thru a bunch of 8-12"ers

@@LTOutdoors15 can usually get into bigger fish if you move out of the channel onto shallow flats for the evening bite to
What's the bay looking like with ice?
7 inches where we were but it varies and some is still real thin
Its time for LT outdoors, im talking Lt outdoors..
🤣🙌👊
Was this east side or west side of bay and did you have to go out far?
West side. And no we didnt go out far I'm betting if we had we would have caught more and bigger perch though. Hopefully next time
@ alright thanks I’m new to fishing Saginaw bay any suggestions on where I could try on the west side to get walleye or steel head I don’t need a specific spot just a general idea on where to go if you could that would be awesome thanks
@dominicruttan1128 tawas bay is probably the best part of the bay for those
@ okay thanks
Did u edit out ricks catches or just kick his but that bad ? Lol
🤣 nope I did edit out a ton of small fish we caught but I caught most of the keepers
