True….but man i needed to slow it down to take everything he says. And im sure its not me cause when i slow the speed to .75 he doesnt sound like a drunker.🤷🏻♂️🫤
You probably won't see this, but as a person that suffers from depression, you gained a lot of respect and a new loyal fan for the ending bit. It is the small gestures that make the most difference.
Thank you so much! I'm no expert on the subject, but I do try to advocate for mental health awareness and sensitivity when I can. Glad it's coming across well to most people.
15:38 noise rolls don't represent the noise your characters are making, but the noise they can hear. It represents the clanks of the ship or the intruders walking around. When you enter a room surrounded by noise, that means your character can hear lots of noise in the area and there is almost certainly an intruder, which is why you're more likely to trigger an intruder attack. It's also why the noise disappears after the intruder attacks - all that noise was created by the intruder so now that they're materialized, it means they can't also be elsewhere.
So, in a movie setting, it would be like the character looking around as the camera spins as the noise coming from everywhere gets closer and closer until... They look up?
The release of these couldn't have been better! Gives me enough time to watch the videos a couple times before the reprint kickstarter stuff comes. It might not be enough content for a 3rd video but would you consider doing a video for the carnomorphs expansion too?
As of right now I probably won't be revisiting Nemesis any time soon. However my next goal on Patreon regards teaching expansions I either missed or were released after my initial video, so when I get there it might be on the table.
Retail, your giving these Kickstarter exclusive publishers too much credit! No seriously though i wish i could pick these up but everything’s gotta be exclusive nowadays.
At the moment, no. Unfortunately when I was filming this the publishers didn't have any extra copies, what with the game being out of print and the 2nd kickstarter not having finished at the time. If there's enough call for it on my Patreon, I might revisit it and Lockdown though.
I house-ruled a couple things - including using the revive feature in the Emergency Room even in semi-coop games (though we treat it as a 2-cost room action). Loving Lockdown! Still have to get to the expansions - have only played Aftermath...
First of all, Shea, Thanks for all your videos!! Great work! I have a dubt. Due Turrets shoot when entering the Room, and then again in the fire step. If the turrets do shoot on entry, and the rules do specifically say spawning counts as entry, does the turret shooting on entry resolves before or after the surprise attack? Thank you very much!
Good questions! Turrets do shoot both upon entry (depending on who they're targeting) and during the fire step. You place an intruder in the room before resolving a surprise attack, so the turret fire will happen first.
Im serious wondering after seeing this video if I have bitten off more then i can chew. I have brought the Nemesis Core Bundle Pledge and that includes these and base game, these look very complex to learn. By the time you read this i will have my pack and but i thought i look up before hand what im letting myself in for. May just stick to base game for now.
i only have lockdown but cant find any rule/cards for the first dead player play as intruder thing is that a nemesis only mecanic that dows not exist in lockdown ?
I love the Nemesis base game, but don't care for Aftermath, Voidseeders, or Carnomorphs at all. I will always choose the base game and thus have no need for them. Yes, you can use the new characters, rooms, and items but I find those make for a less enjoyable experience than just playing the base game.
Literally the top tier of rules videos. This dude should be bigger than any other rules channels.

Basically yes. It's is the ambiguous alien that exists everywhere all at once when it isn't on the screen.@@lugo8824
Finnaly! Thank you for teaching me all these games. Keep up the good work!
Thanks!

Fantastic video. Are you also planning on doing Carnomorphs?

You know the game nemesis sounds like a cool multiplayer videogame.
* nailed it 😆
Great work, man. We appreciate what you do. Stay safe. ✌
Thank you very much !
Solid. Can't really fault this. More please.
Excellent job, thank you
No problem, glad I could help!

Hey, awesome vid. Any plans of making how to Carnomorphs guide video?
Unlikely, I'm afraid. But I do let my Patreon backers request expansions to go back to, so if they ask for it next year, then I suppose I would.
@@RTFM fair enough I guess :) keep up the good work man.
The panic cards where in the prototype too
Please Make a Video about "

Void Seeders: Except for during the end game Contamination check if your Insanity level is 5 and you need to increase it you are instantly killed.
Yep, that's an important detail that I seem to have missed. Thanks for the spot! I've added a note.

I never knew you could revive people haha
No worries, the rulebook is kind of a labyrinth. Just remember that revival is only in full coop mode.
Can someone please tell me were can I find this athermath & void seeders box please
i only have lockdown but cant find any rule/cards for the first dead player play as intruder thing is that a nemesis only mecanic that dows not exist in lockdown ?
Sorry for the late reply. That game mode was only included in the original Nemesis and isn't present in Lockdown.

To each their own. I really like Void Seeders, but the base game is great too.
I’ve been getting a ‘can’t pledge’ message for the past month...
Ah, yeah it seems like late pledging is over. Hopefully there'll be some retail availability once the kickstarter is fulfilled.
@@RTFM it's reopening one the original Nemesis pledges have been fulfilled
