    Great job. You are one of the few hedge trimmers on social media who actually trims the bottom of the hedge. I don't think a hedge is complete without the bottom trim.

      Yeh it does make the hedge stand out more, i didnt do a tight line on this one as trying to get the gap from the ground smaller. Cheers

    Amazing skill to cut hedges like this.
    The hedge cutters are not your average hedge cutters from B & Q they look very expensive and cut so sharply.

    It would seem, well, what's the big deal here - a man is trimming a hedge with some kind of iron thing. But in fact, this man creates beauty, and it is a pleasure to watch his work.

    Nice work! How do you find the battery trimmers compared to the petrol? I need to buy a new trimmer but expect that petrol are more powerful. I cut laurel which can be woody

    • @RJLgardens
      @RJLgardens  5 місяців тому +1

      I use battery more than petrol nowadays, I save the petrol for thick tough jobs or large hedges where i need the long blade length, the battery will handle thickish stuff but the blades blunt too easily, so use it on light stuff mainly.

      Some hedges are cut multiple times a year, so you cant wait till september onwards.
      You just have to do a thorough check. I won't do any heavy tall hedge reductions at this time of year though, its only light trimming of formal hedges. Cheers mate, hope your keeping busy 👍
