Thank you Dan , thank you Willie 👏👏👏👏👏 brilliant interview , brilliant conversation - you guys are the real deal , genuine , heartfelt , warm and caring - bless both of you !! Come back with Lucas and jam Jackson Hole one more time !! Love to you guys 🙏🌏✌️🎼🎶❤️🎸👍👍
He is so amazing amazing he has such a big heart he’ll save animals. He’ll be friends with anybody that wants to be and I’ve never got the chance to meet him, but he’s the kindest man I’ve ever got to talk to and I appreciate him. I appreciate what he did for the farmers held that concert just to help them out and he saves 70 horses the other day from death. He’s a brilliant man and not everyone is generous as he is. He has a big heart and a kind soul and I love him very much.
I love Willy saying I get buy with three cords and the truth. That kind of humble got him a long way. He's got a lot to be proud of. I enjoyed the sit down. Let's talk and be ourselves interview. Two old guys I've admired since I was a kid for over fifty years.
Dan Rather hitting it out of the park one after another!!! I will be going through every interview on this channel --- thank you Master Interviewer!!! YOU. ARE. THE. BEST!!!!!
❤ I didn't think I could love Mike and Willy anymore than I already did and then I'm delighted to say I was wrong bravo both of you at your best still atta boys
🙂 Nice interview. Much appreciation. Willie's done a good job with his kids. They're off to a good start. Interesting to hear about changes in the music business. Frankly, for some not a moment too soon. The internet seems to have given artists much more latitude. That's a good thing. Thanks for sharing.
Mostly , Willie's gotta be my favorite all-time musician/lyrist and after hearing this all the More I'm reminded that "These times are a changing.. "Robert Zimmerman and realizing that X's may seem as if they're a Changin' but the more it seems the more it seams. Patsy is still his favorite, he was in love with her for sure or maybe not .....
@@khalgarrison the amphitheater is by far one of the greatest locations for a concert that I’ve ever been to, it was breathtaking… if you haven’t seen it, google The Gorge Amphitheater, it’s gotta be one of the great wonders of the world… John Mellencamp was damn good, played all his hits, had the audience up dancing and singing.., I was impressed. Dylan did what Dylan does, butchered every song he did til they were practically unrecognizable, and his sound man should either have his @ss kicked, or at least be fired… Willie, on the other hand, at the age of 91, put on a fantastic show, his vocals were strong, his song selection right on, and his guitar playing was strong, his sons kicked @ss too, even played some Stevie Ray Vaughan… 14 hour roundtrip, helluva drive, helluva show, helluva memory… 🤘🏻 thanx for asking…
These two, Willy and Dan, are maybe the only two public figures who I believe have always had something to say worth listening to.
Yes! 😊 ❤ 🇨🇦
His name is spelled correctly on the video yet you spell it " WILLY " I VALUE YOUR OPINION 🙄
Willie Nelson is on another level!!! SO IN LOVE ♥️the soft spoken genius has stolen my heart! Both of you!!!
We Love you Willie ! 💙🇺🇸
This is from many years ago by now, and it’s still pertinent as ever.
Read Headed Stranger is one of the greatest records of all time. It’s in my top 10 best full albums.
was born in 78 and these are two iconic voices for me.

Great questions. Two legendary class acts.

Favorite Frank songs: Fly me to the Moon. And My Way.
Favorite Willie: Poncho & Lefty.
Two favorite men of music.
I have always loved Willie! He is a living legend! Willie is 91 years old. His legend will live forever!
If Willie Nelson reads this man I like your music I hope you live for a long time

Always been my hero
Two of Texas' finest.
Writers on the storm, if you will.
The BEST❤
Professor of Rock
Three chords and the truth
❤️true icons
God bless you !!!
I am glad both of these legends decided they had more to give after retirement age.
I love Willy and Linda Ronstadt. There, I said it!
😂'...the original title was stupid'❤🔆🎸🐬
Reenforcing the old writers adage; there is no writing, there is only rewriting.
I call it paraphrasia
My grandpa always told me Hank jr isn’t actually Hank Sr’s son.honestly he doesn’t really look like him and he’s huge.Hank sr was a smaller fella.
He's a Texas legend
they're both texas legends..
They say everything is bigger in Texas. Wiilie Nelson is even bigger than Texas. You just gotta love him. ❤
Dan Rather is a good man
❤️
Too bad Willie’s view of people essentially being alike is not the sentiment of today’s divisive American politics.

Dan rather looks baked.
Two ninety year olds, still cogent and reflective. Let's pay careful attention.
He is for open borders.
Who cares what either Willie or Dan say or think.
I don’t like Willie Nelson.
IM SEEING WILLIE & BOB DYLAN IN 4 DAYS !!!!
How was it?
