King of the ring tournament needs to be made a big deal again. They should make the tournament as if it was WWE's world cup and only host it every 4 years and make it a huge deal to win the tournament. Instead of being like meh another king of the ring who cares who wins.

"Plan C" and cash in the KotR Belt (while still acknowledging the winner as such) for a shot at the Universal Champion whenever the winner so chooses
