Good Presentation and clarity, Can you please explain - deciding ancestral and acquired property , notional partition and what if the father dies in 1952, how will the property devolve ? Will the amendment of 2005 apply to daughters in such a case ?

1 men Name A is married with B, has a son X nd after his wife B died.. he remarry to a women C nd then son Y nd daughter z born... After some years 'A'(father') dies... The only person jo abhi jivit hai vo... 1st wife k bete , 2nd wife , unka 1 beta or 1 beti ... To ab jo father k father ki property hai... Uska kaise division hoga??? Can you please help??

Dear Madam,
My son passed away last year and he had insurance policy of 25 lakh rupees, and nominee was his wife and she has taken away all the money saying she is nominee in policy. As a mother under Hindu succession act and as a legal heir do I get half of the share in insurance. Please advice. Thanks.
