I was very impressed. He is obviously an intelligent young man, wise beyond his years. Not everyone dreams of being a doctor, lawyer or CEO. Living a happy, successful life is not measured with income but, satisfaction and fulfillment...whatever that means to the individual.☮️

That's just for that piece of property , he can't move it he will have to tear it apart to move it , it's so heavy the axles and frames would break in half .

I stayed in a tiny house for the first time yesterday and it made me realize that I don't need a 3200 sq ft house. 300 sq ft is more than enough to live comfortably. A tiny house will not only change your life, it will change your mindset. Beautiful moment.

The idea was an AFFORDABLE housing option for us working poor and the homeless lucky enough to have one, not something that homebuilders would make for 60K plus! 😊👍🏻
Anybody that has the massive amount of time required to do it...can make a tiny home like this for low cost. That has no bearing on what a builder charges to custom build a high end home for someone else.
How refreshing to hear and see such a wise clean cut man at such a young age! All I kept doing through the entire video was listening to his words, wisdom and his outlook in life to know and do better. I applaud this young man and his family behind his upbringing!! Since less truly is more, then this tiny house is just huge - in so many different ways that matter.
Perhaps this is the way of the future. If things go downhill a whole lot, we're all going to be looking to reclaim things. It kills me to see how much perfectly good stuff ends up at the dump.

He probably lived at home, had a job and saved the money from his wages.
He did good, likely comes form a family with DIY tradition, and the TOOLS he could use. Also, I assume he camps on family land, can get water and electricity from them. so no need for PV etc. That is a lot of help. Neat home nonwithstanding and he has paid that off in one year.
Absolutely love this build. This young man has got his life together. I’m 56 and just getting to the minimal mindset stage. I don’t use so many things I thought I needed. Working thru it now. Best of luck to this young man. Love the decor and reuse of wood and supplies.
I come back to this video soooo often. Such a great person, good energy and his bit’s of advise are so on point and inspiring. Being in the midst of my own build right now and he is hands down one of the biggest influences on my decision to go tiny. Heck after a full year of back breaking work and frustration I come back to this video to remind myself of why I’m doing it and to give me the drive to keep going. I love the simplicity of the reasoning’s and minimalistic way of solving some of the problems that pop up. He’s got the knack for architecture and design, Id say it comes from being a true artist. I love his art work by the way, I peeped your painting’s my guy, very nice very nice 👍🏻. Thank you for sharing 🙏 and also being so influential to those of us who are looking into the life. ✌🏻🤘🏻

People work two jobs to birth children they don't raise, buy homes they rarely get to enjoy, dress in name brand clothes, develop health issues from working 80 hr work weeks and drive cars to impress everybody

we know how terribly true and prevelent that reach for the american dream that ,becomes a nightmare for way too many is. i see the tiny house movement as a long overdue return to sanity. i just wish that it was more attainable $. because of my damaged back i will be paying a builder that i will be able to afford because of a good chunk of inheritance $ (parents both gone)when we sell family home. if i was still able bodied id be having a upcycling 'party'too.
This guy really made a fantastic Tiny House. I love how almost everything was made or put together from reclaimed materials. Not only does it keep costs down but it forces you to be more creative. The whole place was well thought out and looks very comfortable. I love it!

This is the exact thing I've been preaching to my boys. The 20 y.o. tried doing the apartment thing. Didn't like the rent. Now he's moved back into our guest suite and we are planning the build of his (not quite tiny) house on our 20 acres. I believe I've got a convert! 👍 😉

im impresed by your well thoughtout upcyling and supporting the restore, a great resourse,with a great cause to help out families get into home ownership with no interest payments. i like how you used pallet wood etc to create a pleasing rustic vibe.and how you honored your families trailer.it made me want to go diging around in my long gone dear fathers garage to find all the cool things i can reuse. the end result is beautiful!

This guy is wise beyond his years. I like the simplicity of his home, the wood pellet on the ceiling creates a lot of texture and interest. The mini lofts over the sofa are original, I didn't see something like them in other tiny. The sofa itself is simple practical and can be modified at will.
There's a ton of videos like this, but this one is the most informative on how to reclaim a simple camper trailer into a home.

He may be harming the Tiny House Movement. It's not safe to tow it on a roadway/freeway if the trailer isn't rated for that weight, or has been weakened by rust.
Besides the axle, he's forgetting about the weight rating of the trailer's hitch and frame.
Now when others try to sell their tiny house on wheels, potential buyers might doubt the quality of the trailer used. It's not like they can see it.

So this guy seems pretty thoughtful. Living with less. Removing clutter. These are great things. But instead of trying to make more money, just learn to live with less? Not a good plan. Use your position to save money so you can invest in something that will make you more money. But don’t change your lifestyle. Living simply shouldn’t be a crutch you use to get around. It should empower you.

Thank you for sharing your tiny house . My dream is to buy or build my own tiny. I already live in a tiny studio apt under 300 square feet. Therefore going to a tiny house will be an upgrade. I get your philosophy man! It's definitely the way too go! I traded in a piece a land I bought for another one. Only because at the time I didn't know much about Tiny homes and this land won't do me any justice . Because minimum requirements to build on the lot is 1300 square feet. That is too much house for me! My plan is too hold on to this land and sell it when the time is right and buy one I can put a tiny on.. thank you!
