- This family's ultra custom 32' tiny house on wheels was built by D'Arcy from Acorn Tiny Homes. It has a beautiful chef's kitchen, a cozy living room, a home office loft, two large loft bedrooms, an atrium shower & bathtub, and a super functional entrance with storage, a washing machine, and more. This house is bright and beautiful, and it's packed with loads of functionality, storage, and space-saving design ideas!

I love this house, but it looks like you are parked in someone’s backyard……Thats not legal in my state.
There is also a problem with a LOT of land that you are restricted to what you can put on it….AND live in. 😞. I do love your home but I heard at the end that you are parked in a family’s backyard…and again, in my state, it’s illegal 😞😞

Question about your Tiny Home:
I noticed your tuck away stairs only have 2 steps (loved that BTW which is why I am asking) that tuck under the stairs.
Is it possible to have stairs with a "higher option" - possibly maybe 3 stairs tuck instead of two or is that even an option due to space limitations?

Man that's a pretty big tiny house. And it's so cozy inside, this is one of the only tiny houses I could actually see myself possibly living in lol

This is a normal home in Europe
This is the most efficient tiny home for a family of 2 to 4. Extremely well thought out. I love the shower/tub area with the windows.
It's not efficient at all. It runs on propane and has ZERO solar or other renewable energy sources
But the tub is so small. You can't lay down in it and looks like a pain to bathe a baby/toddler in

@@leahtv7778 seems small, but you can sit in it comfortably because its relatively deep.
4? One kids gonna be an issue once he's a teen, but two will be an impossible nightmare
If they raise two kids all the way to adulthood in this space, those kids are gonna have some issues regarding privacy and having friends over and such
For the next max 10 years it might work, provided the kids don't develop a severe hatred for each other
But after that they're either damaging their kids psychy or they'll be moving
Personally I feel like this is THE best example of what a tiny house should be. I know not everyone needs this much space but every corner, hidden space and inch of this house is used. That's smart, convenient and will give you the feeling of assurance knowing you're not wasting anything. I love this. ❤
Now this particular tiny house could work. Most of them just look like boxes and I’d be claustrophobic. Kudos on the design

Hands down the BEST tiny house design ever!!! Every square inch is carefully considered and oriented towards how this couple wants to live. So many clever features but the stand-out has to be the “child-proof” stairs. The best kitchen layout too… just stunning! Congratulations on this inspired build!!!!!
Yeah I like the stairs too but it kinda made me chuckle. I have a 3 year old so I know from experience that in about a year that kid will be climbing up that wall and onto the staircase lol

I love the thought they put into this home! Not only thinking of what they wanted they thought of the child for playing and his room! Also love the stairs go in at the bottom for child safety! Love the heating of the floors which helps if you live someplace where it’s cold in the winters! It’s so much better buying a tiny home than renting an apartment. Great job!

Finally, a tiny house where someone made their loft into an office! That's what I would want to do but I never saw anyone doing it, and it looks like it works great! Also I'm in love with that starry sky ceiling.
Ive seen countless tiny homes, and this one is by far the most well thought out and adorable plan I have ever seen, it seems by design, every single space is multi purposed. I'm so impressed!
As a cat lover, I can say that cat is in heaven. All cats seem to love having their hiding spots. But then times when they want humans around. Kudos for thinking of her needs, as well.
This house is BRILLIANTLY designed. So intelligent. Especially the kitchen. Fridge, sink, prep, cook and serve all in a sequence. I have seen sooooo many tiny house where the kitchens are just so piled in and on. Sink right beside the stove,.... insane. This is brilliant.
I love the concept of the dish drainer above the sink. I've seen it before, but it's like, why have we not been doing this from the get go?!?
I like how they use the corner cabinet space. Wasted space is my nemesis in traditional homes, and they have done a great job combating that while keeping it tiny!
The sliding lower steps to baby-proof the staircase is genius! As is the drop-down spice rack. And the corner chest freezer. And the atrium bath/shower....

if they need to service or change said freezer, i think it will be a headache to get out.

Very well designed and thoughtfully planned including their fur baby which most people tend to forget about when planning their home. I love the dressing area away from the bathroom. It's one of the better designs I've see with 3 lofts. He said he builds tiny houses. It would be awesome to see a few of those too. Great work D'Arcy.

This is the best tiny house I’ve ever seen on UA-cam for years. Every inch of the space was well thought of and creatively useful. The bathroom design is my favorite.
IM OBSESSED!!! I've never seen a builder be so creative and use every inch so wisely. 3 lofts? Yes please! I'm short so the lowered ceiling downstairs wouldn't phase me at all.
This is, by far, the best tiny house that I've seen, this far. You guys did a great job! It's stunning and so well laid-out!❣️

this is the first tiny house with storage for jackets and boots…exzellent design and well conceived!!!
I absolutely love the office space!! It’s often forgotten about in tiny homes or left for a pull out desk which is impractical for someone who will use it everyday 40 hours a week. It looks like it has storage and allows for multiple seating adjustments. Great video!

I like the chest freezer in the corner unit. The drop down spice rack is genius!Toekick storage is something that is big with me. Like the office space. Great lighting option, check! There is so much epic things that I am just about speechless.

Love that this is spacious and fully designed to meet this family's needs. Love the kitchen (that counter space is really well laid out) and the bathroom idea with the windows and the dual shower and bathtub is amazing.
I actually like that the laundry room and shower is there right when you step in. That is actually a smart placement more than anything I have seen.
I adore the way they made sure of incorporating space for their lil furbaby 🥹🥰 no kitty left behind! 🐾🐈⬛
That baby is growing in a fantasy world! One could only wonder the stimulation of his imagination when he goes to sleep in a room that looks like taken from a children story book; fantastic home!

This is a dream tiny house! I was instantly sold on the design seeing the cat tunnels and the beautiful kitty making use of them. Plus her spaces are well designed. The whole house is stunning. Very cozy, with tons of thoughtful touches to make it very efficient on space and storage. Very clever design throughout. The atrium shower/tub is the coolest I've seen, and I've watched hundreds of tiny house videos over the years. If I could afford a tiny house, Acorn is definitely who I'd go with. Spectacular design overall

I LOVE the Framed Egyptian art in living room! Osiris is an adorable little guy and thriving is your home. It's safety secured in every way, so PERFECT for raising kids!!
I am retired and 62 I would love to have a tiny home for myself and 2 huskys. Live in Utah and putting a tiny home on family s property is a great idea. I believe we will see more of these in the future.

This is one of the most beautiful tiny homes I have ever seen. I completely love the design and the bath tub is amazing. I especially like that there is room for a full sized french door fridge (that is a big plus for me) and a dishwasher. I would, however, need a queen sized bed as we have our pets also sleep with us. Great video.

I love how it was so well thought out! Space utilised perfectly. I was wondering what that was hanging over the kitchen and thought ‘is that like a massive rock or something for decoration’ then when showing the office I see it’s a desk! I would never have thought of that. Brilliant idea! The kitchen is deceptively roomy and that’s due to how everything has been placed perfectly and every bit of space used. I just love what they’ve done with their home

This tiny home is awesome and it actually looks like a nice size. I absolutely love how you guys also have your fur baby in mind while building it. For me, that tells me your fur baby is part of your family and not just an animal. Love it.

Absolutely one of the most intuitive and functional living spaces I've ever seen (watched 100's of tiny house videos)! Really like your pull-out drawers and usage of "wasted" space!

I never thought I could adjust to a tiny house. I’m used to living in a 21 room house with 5 bedrooms etc. THIS tiny house is the best I’ve ever seen. Now that I’m older and the kids are gone…I’d consider a tiny house but only THIS tiny house. It’s awesome! Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
Lower sliding steps for baby proofing; drop down spice cabinet; everything about the bathroom!; corner space freezer; living room setup; actually having railings for the stairs.... I just love every unique thought & feature of this home, including the lighting. It's just such detail that makes sense, but a normal person like me wouldn't have thought of. 😂. Thank goodness you created a company where everyone can benefit from your unique brain.

This is beautiful -and your son is going to have so many sweet childhood memories of a close family👍❤️ today kids are left to much alone and just have an iPad/iPhone to use and parents too😔 we need more “living” like you guys👍👍❤️

Huge tiny house fan, but like RVs, by themselves (no land)….they are a depreciating asset, whereas stick-built homes stuck on lots generally appreciate over time and many in the US use this increase to help fund their retirement. Hopefully more neighborhoods will zone in areas for tiny homes to address this (even if just including smaller lots in newly built neighborhoods which could be bought or rented for tiny homes). I would love to see many more tiny home lots and communities. PS….an amazing build!
Perhaps a way to update vacant city lots.
I feel like this is a way to inflate the cost of living. That much square footage for permanent home land prices is a ripoff.

This is a beautiful tiny house. A tiny house builder who also lives in a tiny house has insights into tiny house living and construction that a tiny house builder who does not live in a tiny house does not have.
The brilliance of this design made me cheer like I was going to live here! The countertop and the chest freezer are the best I've ever seen in a tiny house! Definitely more room here than my 2bdrm, 2 ba apt!

What a beautifully thought out & built tiny house. And like others, probably the first I would actually consider living in. Love the way they incorporated their cat’s living spaces & especially love the kitchen with the full size bench space, the chest freezer & full fridge especially! And love the bright shower area that lets a lot of light into the house, although I’d want shutters for the side windows for when I shower as I like privacy. Love the upstairs rooms too. Really great little home.
It's really nice ❤! The only problem would be is I'm 6 foot 2 so I might be constantly ducking and minding my head while in a tiny home. But they did say 100% customizable, but at the same time it probably wouldn't be tiny anymore 😅.
But if I had to downsize for any reason this home would be quite doable 👍!

That is an amazing build. I was worried when I saw the bedroom but the ‘dressing room area’ sorted that. It is small, but perfectly formed and quite beautiful. The couple are just simply adorable though aren’t they? Good luck to them!
Personally I thought that the dressing area was the only major compromise. Overall it's a great design, but the dressing area is the equivalent of having both parents getting dressed in the hallway directly outside of the kid's room. It's fine when they're little but it will get weird later.
What is there not to like about this tiny home, it’s unique & cosy I love it, and the loft is amazing with the beams! Yep I could happily live here 😃

I really love all the little details you put into this build. Some I personally wouldn't go for - like the composting toilet, but I love the little things like the hideaway freezer box and the custom cat mods you built in. Definitely gave me some inspiration for my future build!
