When I saw that black Husky with blue handles last year, I seriously had to have it. Then, reality took over and I realized that I needed to do some research. I ended up getting the Harbor Freight box. It's a much better-made box. And, the wheels are already on it.
That little Dewalt box has that little parts bin. The little bin has the inserts that will fit the SBD bit inserts. Super cool cross compatibility with all of their stuff from the Tough system boxes to Craftsman boxes and even some of the Irwin bit cases.
Actually these deals are better than years passed, the combo units used to start at $798 and $898, so this year they started off lower right off the bat
Be sure to pay attention to the depth. It kills me that they concentrate on These 18" deep units when i used to buy the husky 42" x 24" for $298. Considerably more storage space
I'm not in the trades at all. I do do simple body work and if it's simple enough VERY BASIC mech/tech work on my vehicles. So unless a dream comes true and I buy a little house..I will never be buying any of these. That being said, I loved this video and subscribed. Relaxing and good info to pass on to more applicable fam/friends. It's like watching ASMR for blue collar workers 😅
I'm waiting on the rolling drawer toolbox from milwaukee. I have a ton of the dewalt 2.0, but the mounts are wobbly, and the big box on the bottom is a pain. My Ridgid is easier to use with the drawers on the bottom. I have most of the milwaukee drawers on the dolly and 38" rolling box with 2 toolboxes on it. Just need that rolling drawer box😂. My favorite dewalt box is the half deep toolbox. It actually has a top handle unlike their drawer boxes.
Clearance tool storage is unheard of around here. Lows or HomeDepot don’t clearance out tool boxes, unless it’s discontinued models then your lucky to find them.
On the Milwaukee pack out there is more deal to be had if you are creative with he "buy more save more" figures. That original 3 piece stack is $328.94 before the $90 off......meaning if you spent $70 more you get the $150. So $240 for 3 piece stack or $258 for a 4 piece. There's a lot more combinations to maximize savings. Hope that makes sense.
sad to say but really think the standard husky toolchest line is worse quality than Harbor Freight Yukons (which are cheaper even with the sale). The heavy duty husky's are nice
@@woodrailking I have always covered tools But especially Black Friday month is when all of the different sales start rolling out one after another And I always cover that
The video is fine and I don't mean to be that guy but I just can't believe people will pay this kind of money for a bunch of flimsy bent chinese metal. Even if I wanted one and had the money I wouldn't pay $600+ for a damn tool chest. Especially considering these used to be a couple hundred bucks just a decade back. I love how they just make up some random price and mark it down and people really believe they're getting a bargain. They mark it up just to mark it down and people pay it. I'll sell you a $349 garden hose for $199 if it makes ya feel better lol.
You said it... that HD Husky 52 in 10 drawer for $498 (was $649)... there's three of them sitting in my local HD since last year this time... they've been $498 the whole year, never seen them for $649. Now that being said, I did buy one in 2022, they had a bunch of them left over from Blk Friday, they marked them down $50 first week in December, I bought the floor model that had been sitting by the front door for quite some time. It had a lot of scratches on it so I asked and they took another $70 off. I also had a $25 Pro Rewards gift card which I used... got it down to $353. NOW that's the Art of the Deal, I don't even think Trump could have negotiated a better deal than that!

Jeff I love watching your black friday deals every year! Thank you for sharing your opinions on each deal as there are so many every year!
I’m glad you like watching them! It’s nice to be able to help with these big sales.
Thanks Jeff 🇺🇲 I picked up the Husky 52 inch 9 drawer delivered for $698. Was a pain to put the wheels on, but so far, so good!

Glad you were able to find a great box!

Thanks for the info just bought the husky combo tool chest!
Nice score! Hope you like it!
Harbor Freight sells their 46" 9-drawer tool cart that's comparable to the HD and Lowes cart for $349. Same 1200# weight capacity and everything.
@shrodingerschat2258 I heard that will he on sale on black Fri for $299
I like to dream!!! Great video.
Me too!
Lowes needs to step it up, their deals suck lately.

Some nice deals ty

I got the Milwaukee 3 box pack out through Acme for $229.
I just want drawers, no wheels, no flip top stuff gatherer. I had a place to put them, but, building my own drawers now! 😂
You should do a video on the husky build out boxes. Id love your opinion on those.
25+ year old husky ratchet set only missing a couple pieces had to replace one of the ratchets. and still have the org 10mm

That is a great tip for maximizing savings on those tool storage deals!
The DXL system is nice, but sheesh, the $$$$$.
gjood stuff
Home depot has the 46" for $298 in black only and if you apply for there credit card you get in additional $50 off 😊
only 18 inch's deep. versus 22. I looked at it for the price its deal BUT that 18-inch depth sucks
@barrymorgan7297 I know but they no longer sell the 22" deep. Well at least here in AZ they don't.
Almost $1000 for that Dewalt drawer set. That's too steep for me. Just get a small toolchest on wheels.
sad to say but really think the standard husky toolchest line is worse quality than Harbor Freight Yukons (which are cheaper even with the sale). The heavy duty husky's are nice
US funds so add 30% more for Canadian pricing lol pretty much no special at all.
Anybody need any forklift forks? I got a set asking 200$
.
Why did you switch from news to ads?

Where is the TOOL BOX in the video thumb ? black w 🇺🇸 in front ? That's y click
I need to go in there and make a separate video for that one, I had no idea everyone was going crazy over that tool box
Lots of "new math" in this video
Why would you show the craftsman 63” flag box in the thumbnail and not show it. It’s the only reason I clicked but I guess that was your plan
Maybe I should put in in another video coming up
