This happened in argentina actually. The media through podcast and social media became the place to get information with no filter and no political agenda. And this is how Javier milei won the elections even vs almost the entire tv media.
The fun part about JRE... at its core, the show is still exactly the same as it was when it started. Joe gets high/drunk and shoots the shit for 2/3 hours. Fancy studio in a compound is quite the step up from his couch with uStream and Fleshlights, and he can pull big guests now, but the show is still essentially the same. I think this is really why so much of the 'mainstream media' hates him. They don't understand how he can just talk for a couple hours and get millions of listeners, while their highly produced garbage barely gets watched outside of airports.
its wild how rogan is still portrayed as non-mainstream media. He literally sways elections with his podcast haha, americans are just more influenced by people who aren't talking AT them. Just people talking passively for them to listen in.

Debatable. CNN have intent to omit facts and to lie based on executive direction, financial interests and political influence. If you have an unbiased view that doesn't fit the CNN agenda, they have a history to throw you verbally under the bus.
It is both. Joe Rohan is an old school liberal and now centrist. As he is not part of the new left cult, he must be removed from the social discourse like Alex Jones.

It was no longer recommended because it was no longer profitable. The patent ran out before 2010 as well, but during covid pharmaceutical companies would have prioritised profit from their ineffective, patented, antiviral medications and effective painkillers, accepting the public as collateral for that profit. The simple explanation for ivermectin is it functions as a protease inhibitor which prevents cells from replicating at least one protein essential for covid, meaning the absolute *minimum* effect it has is a reduction of viral load.
@@Cheesus-Sliced Holy shit, someone else said it. "Protease Inhibitor" thank you! It's mind blowing how few people know about this, even though it is an anti-parasitic it still has properties that can help against a virus.

Once journalism started to become an "elite" institution, solely populated by people with degrees and as a pipeline for elite status-seeking, it lost the one condition it had retained for decades: honesty. There was a matter-of-factness about journalism. It had its dark times before WW2, but somehow, for about a 35 year period, it managed to attract ethically responsible people, people that were primarily interested in Truth. Most likely because many of these 35-year time frame journalists had lived through and fought in WW2, which imparts a harsh but true perspective not easily discarded. But universities no longer select for Truth-seeking as a good unto itself, and are instead simply a mechanism to distribute the accepted ideas and ideals of elite society. These 35-year journalists left a legacy and mentored many younger journalists, and for a time, this imprinted mentorship which regarded Truth as a paramount virtue in journalism, continued to shape these newer journalists within the media institutions. But over time, this was either diluted or lost as a new breed of elite-centric journalist took centerstage. Once this takeover was complete in the early 2010s, objectivity and honesty were stripped away for profit and a no-holds-bard tribal affiliation. Legacy media was now only interested as an elite-seeking signaling device, nothing more.

They don’t want to cancel Rogan for his beliefs they want him cancelled him because he is competition, you shouldn’t prescribe some morality to it, it’s just more convenient if he is in disagreement with them
Yep
Yeah, they refuse to believe less and less people are watching MSM because the reporting is terrible. This is why they lash out at people like Rogan. They think it's his fault people aren't watching them.
Mainstream Media - "Rogan drinking liquid used to clean cars"
Rogan - *Drinking water
They also used a filter to make Rogan look more sickly, if I remember.
Yip, MSNBC made the video and threw the grey filter on for the covid stuff and made him look sickly, he has shown the side by side on the podcast its a big change from the original clip.
Asmon says that at the beginning of the video
yeah he said that like 2 minutes into the video.
If you actually watched the video before commenting, this got addressed like 5 min in lmao
Fox News got accused of doing that long ago, oh how the turn tables....
Deceive
1. To cause to believe what is not true; mislead.
2. (Archaic) To catch by guile; ensnare.
3. To practice deceit.
Podcasts are officially more important than oldschool media now, just the fact that the Thump interview had around 33 million views in like 2 days, yet it was not trending on youtube is mind-boggling.
They were actively hiding it.
@@halo129830 Undoubtedly, the same is happening here in Sweden, public service doesn't even try to be impartial. The left-wing agenda is promoted, while the right is hidden or taken out of context, and lies are spread.
That should not be mind boggling. This is normal nowadays. They only push stories that further their narrative.

Ivermectin was used to treat COVID variants during the 2010s. Now suddenly it’s not recommended
Can't be having a cheap readily available medication threatening the profitability margins of the vaccines they just invested in!
@@Cheesus-Sliced So is it similar to Prep?
@@Cheesus-Sliced Holy shit, someone else said it. "Protease Inhibitor" thank you! It's mind blowing how few people know about this, even though it is an anti-parasitic it still has properties that can help against a virus.
The internet makes it harder to blatantly tell lies about people. Back in the days when "you don't want to pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel", your ability to get your side of the story out was nonexistent.
Calling Ivermectin, "horse de-wormer" as it has been used this way is like calling water a "drowning agent."
The worst thing about modern journalism imo is the ability to make shit up, cite anonymous sources, then being legally allowed to refuse to reveal the anonymous sources. They can say whatever they want to say while claiming somebody else said it.
They also release articles that lie and then reference those articles as a source
The ivermectin thing was the last nail in the coffin
Let’s not forget the mostly peaceful protests
I think it was the beginning of the end. The election results being so off from their polls I think may end up being the final nail. Seeing how fast they decided to downsize and scramble after it is a big indicator.
It worked for me
They'll never say"water will kill you", but would happily say "you're drinking something that kills thousands every year" if it was profitable.
The MSM literally thinks we're all stoopid.
Microsoft Mindows
Ha!
that’s the main point they need to get across, if they didn’t act like that, they would crumble - the average person still watching msm would not have the time or energy to figure that out theirselves
Neil Young sold his entire catalogue. Neil no longer owns his songs and recordings.
He sold out long ago. 😂
I got fired from my job and was homeless for 3 months due to the narritive that you need to take the jab for covid. Well 3 years later and im earning about 5x what i used to earn at my old job and on top of that i dont have any heart problems from the jab. 6 of my friends that are my age that got the jab mysteriously devloped heart peoblems out of nowhere where. So not only am i earning more money but i also am the healthiest i have ever been in my entire life some things are worth losing everything over.
One thing has nothing to do with the other, its a false correlation imo

The dumb thing is you can't cancel a podcast. You could kick him off Spotify or UA-cam but he oprerated for years without these companies
CNN should hire Asmongold as their lead news guy.
He's too fact based and fair. Asmon doesn't seem like he'd be a willing mouthpiece
@@TheHighbornhe's based
Hell no, he's too good for the likes of CNN.
I remember being on dialup internet, and it would take half an hour to download an mp3, but since ~15 years ago when i got internet fast enough to download videos, I've barely watched any tv or mainstream media. Gradually the tv generation are getting old and dying, others like me are switching over, soon nobody will be watching. I think whether they lie or not, outcome was gonna be the same. Who would voluntarily watch all those annoying commercials when they dont have to...
I haven't turned on my tv in over 5 years. Don't even know if it works anymore. Its just nonsense and 80% ads.
Tucker Carlson lost all his advertisers on his Fox show despite his massive ratings. Thats the point where he stopped holding back and was gaining even more viewers. Fox got rid of him when they couldnt control him anymore.
horse drink water = you drinking horse beverage
Who knew that men wanted a no BS podcast of a dude bringing the boys together to discuss obscure subjects and news lmao
Joe Rogan has been doing it for a lot of years, he didn't really change that much in format. Mainstream changed a lot that watching something from CNN in the 90s barely resembles something that they pump out today.
CNN was serious in the 90s...
I had no idea Tulsi debated Kamala 😂 Holy shit we got a good one
Now they are trying to say Tulsi works for putin. these lying democrats
She straight kicked her out before a single vote was cast. That's why her being the candidate was ridiculous.
They banned Ivermectin for two years after people started coming out saying they used Ivermectin and got better.
I'll never forget the way the media treated covid and how the government tried to shut anyone up that had a credible opinion on covid.
Never forget. We need to tell our kids this and their kids, etc. They've done generational damage. As we are witnessing even today, they're already rewriting everything and trying to make themselves look like the good guys. Never let them live this down.
How should they have treated it? People died. I lost friends to fucking covid. How else could it have been treated other than a pandemic?
Mainstream medias are no longer mainstream. People are the media now
14:39 It's called "lying by omission" It's legacy media's bread and butter.
It’s the trans issue too.. it pushed him away lol the trans shit is insane
MSNBC isn’t recovering, they’re actually being sold off and removed from comcast cable 😂😂😂
Ivermectin was multiple uses. My dad is has been a doctor for 25 years and we has use it form many things. It is cheap and good.
25:30 ... Brian actually looks evil in that photo. Just look at his eyes. You can see there's no happiness there and if you envisioned an evil demon glaring down at you, those are the eyes you would see.
Just open his Wikipedia page and scroll riiiiiiiiiiight to the personal life.
This is who denies racism and oppression against whites. Every damn time.
how the media "lies" about that is similar to those "dihydrogen monoxide can be harmful to you body" jokes
Gupta immediately walked back everything he said on Rogans podcast and said he was intimidated by Joe and that's why he didn't push back against his questioning of the ivermectin bullshit
It's absolutely unbelievable that people buy your BS. You're saying that people should believe that a man was intimidated during a professional interview for absolutely no reason, and therefore he couldn't give accurate medical information despite that being his job and him willingly deciding to do Joe Rogan's podcast? No matter how you twist it the dude is untrustworthy and a coward.
If he did- he has no honor or backbone. He knows very well that it was used on humans for a long time to treat a variety of diseases.
Spineless. Legacy media likes spineless people anyways, the ones who make a stand don't make it.
What a roach
As an avid jre watcher does anyone else think that with a heavy stubble and that little rascals hat, he looks like the 1930s cartoon caricature of what a white robber would look like.
Black Bart on his day off from getting shot at by Ralphie. 😂
"That guy" Asmond not knowing who Michael Malice is... Is gold.
The first time I started distrusting the media is when they called PewDiePie a Nazi years ago. How far we've come since then.
Neil Young said he was taking his music off Spotify. The problem is he didnt own his music. The people who owned his music didnt want to pull out of Spotify
I thought he did…but then sold his rights…and then the buyers relisted. There’s a strong possibility I’ve just made that up, but that’s how I remember it. I was all high at the time😂
I lost the rest of my hope when they said "stay home" and then you look at the flight maps and see 100s of planes still in service.

@Beatles__ that's another problem in itself. Whoever still has to work Vs the people who were forced to stay home.
@ never got the jab
Asmon needs to do Joe Rogan. They already neighbors anyway.
He doesn't he's famous enough for Joe Rogan.
Tbh I think for a news network you should be held liable for lying in this way. A lie of omission is still a lie, regardless of how you attempt to defned or define it. Legally and by definition it is still a lie and they need to be held liable for purposely missrepresenting and defamation
As they were lambasting you for killing Grandma because you went outside, they were genuinely discouraging the use of potentially life-saving medicine... to sell a vax¢ine
Mainstream media has a lot to answer for in general, especially lately. The extreme fear mongering we've seen has certainly contributed to the mental health crisis, and its almost guaranteed that at least a few people offed themselves after election night because they thought it was literally a repeat of 1933. Its sickening when you think of how much damage they've done to society over the years.
It's incredibly revealing that Zack doesn't know who Brian Stelter or Mike Malice is. Zack, maybe now you can research the truth of Jan 6 so you can make accurate commentary on it.
Knew Joe back in the Quake days. Would never have guessed he would become one of the most famous and recognizable people on the planet.
If you swing for the king, you better not miss.
I feel like it's pretty easy to see how Joe Rogan became popular. Long form conversations with experts in all sorts of fields and people living all sorts of lives. Almost no matter what you are interested in, Joe Rogan has probably talked to somebody about that.
Theo von has followed his footsteps, and taken that road as well, and is killing it. I just listened to one the other day for two hrs about a cat lady. Its so good
Most of the times he doesn't have experts on, most of the time it's grifters, or people who are adamant that they are right when they are in fact wrong, it leads to sometimes mind blowing funny episodes - where I'm not sure if Joe Rogan believes them or not, but Joe doesn't interrupt them and let's them rabble on which I think is fine and in fact a admirable trait in Joe.
Let the crazy people talk, viewers can dissect what they are saying themselves.
@@noobkaka567 Case in point - Terrence Howard. And then the follow up episode with him and Eric Weinstein.
10:59 Joe Rogan didn't get radicalized, and he still supports Bernie Sanders and his ideas. He just saw how much the media liked to lie, and he believed the msm on what they said about Trump. Over the years, he slowly started to think he wasn't nearly as bad as they said he was. Joe Rogan is still way more on the left and supports basically all of the major ideas of Bernie Sanders, and he liked Andrew Yang to this day.

It's facts. Imaging injecting yourselves with a new tech that's now been peer reviewed to show it was dangerous. While also thinking being in an open store, but a piece of plexiglass would save you. Or believing ivermectin was dangerous. Or believing 2020 was free and fair.

When someone talks about CNNs viewers, I'm reminded of all those unwatched TVs in the airports
