I got my grant for: L2021 Project Title: Sugar Syrup for Bee feed: Using Water Treatment methods as to disinfection and chemical treatment to obtain a disease free feed for the commercial honey producers. Thanks for ur support and for your and your good name. Looking forward to working with everyone.
ian, those Nucs are loaded with bees. They have no space for food and brood. Why not tranfer them in a 10 frame box? The middle one, and move them to another site. I know that it is an lot of work, an material.
Great conditions.. did you try that "thing" on the bottom boards. I bet, with the flow and the feeding they mess with it and trying to clean it out. Hopefully the flow and worm days will be there long enough. They really look great.. old bees giving their last...
They started to shut down kicking the drones out . Could have made bunch of splits if you know you get fall flow like that. Should help greatly in the winter shed . We're in major flow goldenrod hit hard all that summer rain paying off finally. Average year we get 60 pound average bet it's twice that . Finally dry hot weather
hello ian will you try the swarms at harvest time with the winter bees...I would like your feelings and your personal opinion on the practice that I am giving you..... I would like you to give it a try I would be delighted if you succeeded and continued this swarm practice
Awesome. Will probably do the colonies some good having real natural honey/nectar in the frames for them to eat during the 6 month hibernation rather than getting stressed on sugar syrup.
@anabelaramos8399 agreed. I know it would be hard for him to do similar just based on the size of his commercial operation. I back feed my bees their excess fall honey I pull off. They overwinter well for me.
@@86offroad it would be more work for him, different box sizes. I don't know about profit, he spends a lot of time and money just feeding. His bees look very, very healthy though.
@@aCanadianBeekeepersBlog we don't really have a Winter here in south europe but a very dry Summer. Maybe one of these days you will explain what clean feed is in one of your blogs. I am very curious about your italians and how they will adapt to your climate. Mine swarm in January. I've learned a lot with you, thanks.
Haha tired of spending money😂😂 I feel the same way this year😢. My bees are looking good now again. I’ve been hitting my bees with the oxalic acid and it seems to be keeping the mites down. So I’m happy about that. A lot cheaper then those almost useless expensive strips
You know you are a real beekeeper when you have syrup truck.
The cup of Tim Hortons made my heart flip. Had it while in Canada and loved it!! The sign said " instant human just add coffee ".
Thanks for your insight and advice. Your personal thoughts are always helpful no matter how many bees in a box you have.
Good looking bees! What a great way to find the bee yard! Nice to see your news turning to the positive. Thanks for the update, God bless!
“I’m just getting tired of spending money”

Hello good morning my friends I'm from nepal
The only problem with Tim Horton's is they won't put Bailey's in your coffee...🤤
😂Lol
Its got me a little worried, ive never had them so heavy, so early.

I always leave a shalow box full of honey on top of the nest for them. If they are a big colony, off course.

I manage to achieve near zero honey in the nests. Long winters need clean feed
