You can use the left over fabric for making kid's clothing, potli bags, decorative buttons, belts, patchwork cushion covers, table runners, jewellery, purses, dupatta borders, etc.
I like your honesty. I have got outfits stitched from sarees but the tailor has never returned the borders . I'm glad that you have saved them & are using them for the same client only
Actually not sure about the tailor you mentioned but generally the client needs to mention if they want the remaining pieces back. Tailor will not bother. In my case, I also emphasize my tailor to return the remaining pieces back.

Beautiful ideas! With the bits you could make cushions with different combinations of silk fabrics for diwali party etc or make a patchwork duppatta. Just an idea

Not possible. Because Kalis are not cut in straight pattern. Need more fabric for Kalis but still thank you for the suggestion ❤️

Great ideas...very well done... You can just seamup two different pallu portion back to back or separately with the liner to make a table runner for the client. Or coffee table cover/fridge cover/ they can spread below kalash. They can even use it to decor home on festival to give festive look

Designs are really amazing. I loved orange top and short skirt. It doesn’t look that it’s from a saree😀 you can stitch fancy cushion covers or even a short shrug with mix match fabrics

Hi ,with left over fabric ,you could think of making a cluch purse of a cross body bag ( purse) .Or you cud think of using it in cushion covers. Or plscemats and runners for festive occasions
U can make potli bag, jacket, multicolored skirt with borders or cushion covers with these leftover golden borders.

Make banarasi style cushion covers from heavy pallus and borders
Your creativity is really amazing,yahan toh tailors ko samjhana hi mushkil ho jata hai. Baaki toh you can use multiple saree scraps to create borders or piping. Like if the purple complements the pink saree pieces, cut out strips of both to make a new top etc. Fabric waist belts is another favourite of mine.

With borders which is not used any where you can attach it in the new solid colour lehanga. And from small pieces fabric you can make clutches, potli bags and hair accessories like scrunchy or hair bands..

You can use the saree borders for making duppata, can make a duppata of an old silk saree nd attach it nd remaining cloth can be used for making batua
Crope top ka idea accha laga bache hue saree may say saree key use golden pallu may say hand bag bana sakate ho jo western dress par bhi use kar sakte ho o jo last may dikhaya tha....
You can use different borders and pallu part to make a jacket, thoda boho touch bhi de sakte ho ,just a suggestion
