This is my favorite video I’ve ever made. I hope you all kick back and enjoy a trip down memory lane. Please like to support. I need UA-cam to pick this story up. More coming soon so if you’re new subscribe. Peace & love y’all!
There’s no way Drake and Cole believed that popping off about things Kendrick takes seriously-his music, his legacy, his privacy, his family, his community, his reputation, his LIFE, etc-would lead to anything except war. Drake is a pox on Hip Hop. I hope the UMG lawsuit clears him out of the genre forever.
This is one of the best videos I have watched in awhile. Kendrick is my favorite of all times and everything you said here is on point!!!! I am sending this to my 19 years old son, we are both music junkies and he needs to listen you. I know he will enjoy this channel. 😌
@@Fluer-de-Lis True Funny thing is, this is literally what Cole was telling Drake to do on Port Antonio, just keep making music and move on... sadly, he ain't wanna take the advice from an old friend. Kendrick and Cole saw where this was headed, and now it's here Instead of taking Cole's advice... Drake chose the darker path. Oh well. 🤷🏿 We gotta get someone to Remix all of Drake's best hits, with the Allegations as lyrics just like this! 😅
When you called yourself a genius for making the Kendrick/Tupac edit I wanted to like the video for the second time. That kind of confidence isn't manufactured one has to be born with it
amazing breakdown. I was in highschool when all 3 of them were coming up it was a dope time. I remember it was a huge deal when kendrick got passed the torch from all the west coast legends back in 2011
Lets stop pretending that drake wrote his own raps. He was never in the big 3 conversation. You must write your own shih to be goat of anything. Getting credit for others work is not what we do.
I absolutely loved the topic of this video and the depth it had. I felt the same as with an earlier video you did that compared kendrick lamar's and taylor swift's storytelling appeal. just unique content and so well researched and told
Wow!!! I was getting ready to not watch this. Then, you got my attention. Not only was, this very entertaining (with your clips), but quite thorough, and thought provoking. You earned this damn like Sir, and new sub. Looking for to more.❤
*"The Big 3 like we started a League"* was a great notion on J-Cole's part I'll admit, but in the end, Drake's been kicked from the group, meanwhile Kendrick and Cole not on speaking terms, or at least for the time being. We'll see what 2025 has in store for Hip-Hop. Drake's falling off HARD, but I'm still excited for Kendrick at the Superbowl, and for Cole's "The Fall Off".
This is the second best video i have seen covering the beef and its history, after FD Sig's. And I appreciate that it doesnt seethe with hate towards Drake like alot of other videos. Well done.
Here before this goes viral! Good job brother 👏👏👏 I agree, 2013 was the turning point. I think Kendrick was trying to ignore his best instincts that told him not to trust anyone. Once he saw Drake's reaction to Control he knew that playing nice and just hoping for friendly competition wasn't an option. Drake and Cole are victims of their own childhood experiences. They grew up in generally safe circumstances, even if they weren't rich, they didn't have to worry for much until they got older. They didn't have any reason to look over their shoulders. Not saying they didn't work for their success because that's bs but they hadn't seen the real bad stuff. But Kendrick grew up in a different environment, he knows you always gotta be on the lookout and let no man look down on you. Listen to what he tells Adonis on MTG. Also I know (and kinda understand) why most dudes were stuck on the Dave Freeeee bar but as a woman that would probably make me admire Kendrick as a person, not just a rapper. Drake can't even bother to raise his own son without using him as a prop...
I think you're forgetting one thing regarding drake and the pusha T beef. Drake went out of his way to bury the story of adidon. Remember it had almost 40mil views on youtube before drake got UMG to get it removed off youtube. And that was the first month! He also had pulled strings regarding pusha Tour aswell. I definitely believe it effected drake. Just not public opinion.
Good job! Highly entertained. Kinda didn’t want it to finish. You didn’t finish the budden interview though? Anyways thanks. I’m gonna go listen to GNX now. Lol
In my opinion Drake should’ve never even been considered when it came down to the “Big 3”. He has always wanted to be a POP star. He hated that he would only win awards for Rap songs. I feel like Big Sean or Wale could’ve easily occupied that 3rd slot.
I just have trouble believing Cole. I want to believe him, but associating with Drake just puts a horrible taste in my mouth. He speaks about the virtue of being humble and I agree with him. But the crap he pulled…I give him the side-eye. Still respect him a little. Still think he’s a G.O.A.T., but I listen to him differently now.
I don't know if this would count as the greatest rap beef because it was so one sided skill wise, objectively. Now with the skewed popular opinion, i guess you could. In no universe would aubrey ever have won unless kendrick just threw on purpose.
i like this video, you're giving all of them credit ,even if you have a clear personal favorite in one of them. really good insight and breakdown. hot take but i think cole actually dropping the most consistent heat and i actually don't like him or drake.
Although I am still a Cole fan, that apology was trash. He should've just said the truth about what Schoolboy told him, and that was to step aside because this wasn't that kind of battle so clear the fxckin battle field for this massacre.
“As big as the whaaaaat”??!!!😂😂- Drake was out here trying to be a bully, he was feeling all euphoric, comfortably cosplaying as a rapper!!….HOWEVER (and in Drake’s defense): How was he supposed to know that screaming “drop, drop, drop” would actually bring out the real freakin “BOOGEYMAN”😬??? Truthfully Euphoria was the beginning of the end🔥….and now we’re clearly watching his “Party Die.”🎈(it’s sad really)!😣…😂😂😂#crazyscaryspookyhilarious✌️

Your analysis and the breakdown of the big 3 is astounding, thank you! I’m so glad I found your channel a couple of weeks ago, amazing video ❤
Ay im only halfway in but this is great
This was masterful
🔥 bro straight 🔥
Half way in and loving it.
Kendrick said “F*** the big 3 its just big me “
And had both of Drake and J.Cole Self-destruct. “Its alot of opinions but no power to carry it”
Watching Kendrick grow as an artist has been a feat to witness, and is something we may never see again.
The amount of research & preparation that you had to do to put this out for us, thank you ♥️

24:38 Hindsight 20:20 "only YOU like being famous!"-Euphoria- Kendrick.
Rap video essays going crazy of late. What an entertaining timeline we’re in now.
At least we can thank Drake for losing so badly that it’s making us analyze the whole situation at this point

Excellent breakdown
I just love it when you post. Your vernacular, tone and timbre is fantastic!
I'm about to kick back and watch... thank you for the hard work!!
amazing breakdown. I was in highschool when all 3 of them were coming up it was a dope time. I remember it was a huge deal when kendrick got passed the torch from all the west coast legends back in 2011
Nicely done. Great analysis of what took place and and you did it in less than 3 1/2 hours. Great editing. Love your work.
I'm only 20 minutes in but this video is great! Very informative and entertaining at the same time.👏🏾
First video of yours I've ever watched and it was VERY interesting. You just gained a new subscriber.
This was so amazing, I had to subscribe 🔥🔥🔥

One of the main reasons why I always had Kendrick and Cole above Drake
How do people ignore the ghostwriting?
Thank you! Drake is a FRAUD. "Legend" who stole his way to the top on a culture he is not part of, please.
The time you put into sitting, pondering, making connections *chefs kiss*. Brilliant video! Masterpiece! Keep it up! Thank you! 😅

This was amazing and respectful you didn’t disrespect drake or nothing even though he deserves to be clowned real classy shit
HE DISRESPECTS HIMSELF DRAKE NEEDS NO HELP IN THAT DEPARTMENT LMAO 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

33:44 ok, Kendrick’s crazy face coming on while you were saying “YEAH FRIENDLY SPARRING MATCH” 😂😂😂💀☠️🪦
Great video. Time well invested on my behalf.
im so glad my cousins from Daly City got me into the Kendrick Lamar EP. growing up with Kendricks music has been a true blessing

Been saying Kendrick and Cole are better than Drake way before the battle
Wow your research is impeccable!! Good job bro!
Excellent breakdown! This is some of the best context I've seen in regards to the Big 3/Drake v Kendrick on YT.

No one really talks about Buried Alive by Kendrick on Drakes album
One of Kendrick's most vulnerable tracks. Love it too much.

I cannot stand Drake, but I do kinda see his point of view if he is someone who really values what people think.
He doesn’t value it he needs it
39:52 I feel the same way, TO THIS DAY!
Beef aside, talking art only, I personally feel Euphoria was the best music of the entire beef.
14:59 most talented GUY
