“Forget Me Not” Dynamic Duos™ Stenciled Cookie

- Oooh, my favorite cookie holiday - Valentine’s Day - is nearly upon us, and I’ve got two new and very romantic Dynamic Duos™ sets that are designed to evoke gorgeous layered Victorian valentine cards, but on cookies! In this video, I show how to use these two sets with airbrushing techniques, as well as how to create dimensional layered effects using a variety of mediums, including royal icing, fondant, modeling chocolate, and wafer paper. There are so many design possibilities with just these two sets; but, no matter which one you give your Valentine, s/he is sure to swoon! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Beautiful as always! I like the other versions as well! It would be a good idea to try these out on a non-edible version with paper etc.. I still don't have an airbrush though... It would open up the market for your stencils for those who don't make cookies. I would love to make a collaboration with your stencils ;)

Paint Art
About the paint you use at 18:17 mins over the fondant. Does it dry perfectly? What kind of paint do you use.? Thank you !
I have a difficult time coating large cookies and getting them smooth. I know the icing needs to be thinner so it doesn't dry too quickly but then the icing tends to drip off the cookie. Are you piping the icing on your larger cookies or dipping? I tried dipping but that's not as easy as it looks.
I have seen people piping a slightly thicker line around the to-be-filled shape, then fill the inside of the shape with a thinner icing to flood it and it should dry flat. Try watching a couple of her previous videos and you will see her demonstrate this technique.

Ms.Usher, I’m having issue with the pasteurized eggs in your royal icing recipe.
I do not have access to pasteurized eggs, is there a way to do that myself?
Also, I Sent my husband to the store to get pasteurized eggs and they did not have them, so he asked one of the employees. And the employee told him that in the United States all eggs are pasteurized. I said that’s not so.
In the United States, ‘Egg products’ are To be pasteurized, and that means eggs that are put into a product; they have to be pasteurized before hand. That does not mean all shelled eggs are pasteurized. Huge difference.
What is your opinion on that?
