- Reverse Chevron Wrap Tutorial. How to do a Reverse Chevron Rod Wrapping.
In this video I do a reverse chevron rod wrapping tutorial. This is a great wrap and can be the base for other wraps or added to other wraps. How to do a reverse chevron wrap is explained in detail in this video. We will be doing more custom wraps in the up coming weeks as we build more custom rods. Custom rod building is something that I love to do and as I grow in it I will keep sharing what I learned to help others. I keep trying new ways to do rod wrapping designs and rod wrapping patterns. As I learn rod wrapping techniques, I will share them with everyone. Thanks for watching Fishing Louisiana.

hi great video my question is how do you know the count of wraps for each color or is random.
I normally just pick a thickness I like and then start going fewer and fewer.
gotcha i see it now thanks
Great video, nice job. Can you do a video on multiple trim bands? would like to see how you do it. thanks
I can definitely do that. Thank you for watching
Кропотливая и хорошая работа, только вот один минус- большой расход нити...
Thanks for watching. Yes it does use a lot of thread.
Thank you very much for all the help. You are a good teacher. One question tho, how far do you space the dots or intersections on a Double Chevron? Was thinking maybe taking the height of the rod and doubling it. Would that work or would the spacing be too tight? Going to do my first Double Chevron Wrap this weekend and do not want to start over any more than I have too. Thanks again.
On this rod (7ft medium) I did the wrap the tape trick around the butt ( wrap tape around then cut it and lay it flat and measure it) and it was 3cm roughly. That would work great for the diamond wrap, but I like the chevron stretched a bit more. I think it looks better that way, so I went with 4cm on this wrap. I loved the way it came out.
@@FishingLouisiana2020 Thank you. Sorry, I just noticed you already answered this question on previous wrap with the orange and black thread overlaying a blue blank using a double Chevron Wrap. I really like how you just used two colors of thread but used the Black to highlight the border at end of wrap. Thanks again, really learning a lot from your videos

I am doing a chevron wrap the Color of the Irish flag is there any good tips that you can give to me. Thank you Patrick
2 tips. 1 is keep your count at all times. 2 is go past the point you plan to stop the wrap by 2 inches on each side for a clean looking wrap.
