The reason for the lights on the head and back is: if you are in shadow, you couldn't see Sam without the light. Thats the reason why are there lights.
Damn you must have really studied this game's level from top to bottom, that was some John Wick shots right there. It's good to see people keeping the splinter cell series alive!
He really didn't. His SC speedruns are all blatantly tool-assisted, he just doesn't admit to it like most speedrunners do when they cheat. This assclown WANTS you to believe he pulls these off with pure skill, but the cheats are so painfully obvious it's not even funny.
@Vale - Yep. And the easiest way to tell, if you know the game, is to simply look at his ammo count on the HUDs in all SC games. It NEVER goes down no matter how much he shoots, and he NEVER runs out of Sticky Shockers or Ring Airfoil Rounds when the games only give a limited number, usually 4 to 6 of each max. Plus how many times in these speedruns he pulls off things that are simply NOT possible without cheats. One such example is in Chaos Theory. It is IMPOSSIBLE in the base game to score 100% on the Bath-house level, because of a glitch that causes the game to think you've been spotted during the shootout between Displace Mercs and ISDF forces, regardless of whether or not you actually were spotted. The ONLY way to score 100% is with cheats in play. And guess what he scored? I could list all the myriad of other ways he's cheating, but suffice it to say, his speedruns are bullshit. And I don't even have a problem with him using cheats. Awesome Games Done Quick FREQUENTLY has Tool-Assisted (read; uses cheats) speedruns. They can be really fun to watch as indeed CotySAM's speedruns are. My issue is with him pretending they're legit when they so blatantly aren't. He wants people to THINK his speedruns are legit based on pure skill, but isn't very good at hiding or covering up the clues to his cheating, and isn't decent enough to admit his runs are tool-assisted, and THAT is kinda skeevy.
I waited for "dead man walking" feature (like other games speedruns sometimes gave), when you die and move on, and game thinks you`re dead and nobody sees you, but it was just a death for fun)
Sir you have broken my entire preconceptions of Splinter Cell. Just run past guys they won't hear you. Wall jump on top of all the ceilings and skip entire sections Crouch run like an idiot lmao Crazy
It's hard to believe I struggled to complete this game when it first came out, looking at these amazing guards. They make Payday 2 guards look highly intelligent, damn. Nice work also. That bit of parkour at the start was particularly good.
It still is hard to complete on hard difficulty settings. Reason being is that it's easy to make a noise when you shouldn't or something else like that. The game has awful camera controls. Xbox can't vouch for PC
For me it was more like, when I first got it and was playing it, I was able to ace these levels like nobody's business. Now that I am old and got these games from Steam after a long hiatus of playing, I am failing all the time, always reloading and losing my religion over this stupid video game.
44:35 I laughed so hard 🤣 The duel hadn't even started and Grinko was dead. Man this one hell of a stealth game was supposed to be played with patience but watching a speedrun like this for the same is so funny and entertaining. 🤣 You have mastered this game. 👍
Kid: mom can I play video games? Mom: you only have an hour. Kid: okai *beats game in 55 minutes* Kid:now time to beat another game but 50minutes faster

This is one of the most hilarious, ridiculous, and impressive things I've ever watched. You made a complete mockery of my fave vid game ever. N I'm 100% here for it. WoW. The shots. The jumps. Living off one shot of health.... Crazy
“You will give us the ark”, “I am not god” he’s got balls to say that with a gun pointed at him 😂 “Don’t move” allows Sam to keep flicking his goggles on and off
No my don. You bad you bad you bad you bad you bad. I never knew Sam could do those stunts around the obstacle course. You made Splinter Cell look like Mortal Kombat!
After the CIA mission, the CIA should be VERY concerned about their security; it wasn't even much of a stealth mission; the dude just ran in and out getting any info he wanted.
Guards be like: doesn't hear man rapidly crouching up and down whilst running past him and cant see in any type of darkness and has no peripheral vision Also Guards: 24:20 can instantly recognise a heavily armed man and where he is just by seeing a shadow go past a window.
bro i recently been playing this game again to relive nostalgia, (on last level and on hard baby), but dude at 11:20 you just blaze through with a couple jumps! i spent so long cuz i wanted it to be bad ass and i kept getting caught. after finishing the video my god the shit you pull in this is so insane i love it
I was stuck at that "learn how to control the camera" part forever as a kid, no kidding. Back then my English skills totally sucked and I actually thought the game (or the controller) was broken because I couldn't move. It never crossed my mind that the game would actually teach you something so ridiculously simple, of course I knew how to use the right analog stick (I played on Xbox). For the same reason I had massive problems with Halo 1's tutorial.
"Somebody is shooting at me, god damn it!" I have literally NEVER heard ANY NPC in this game (possibly Conviction, but none that came prior) ever say that, and because of that fact, hearing this dialogue is instantly way funnier than it really ought to be.
My god, so much of this seems impossible. But I've played the game enough to know you can do ALL of this, but I've never tried even half of it. Very impressive skills!

Ah yes, and remember, no one, I mean no one, has the innate ability to sense presences around them, or someone watching them.
"Also, you already know every passcode there is to know."
Also, 3 alarms and the Mission's over
@@TristenTheArgonian Of course not..this is no videogame Fisher..

“This game is based on alarms, watch the stealth.”

As a Conviction fanboy I agree
Imagine how he plays Conviction
@Layne Staley FN2K wasn't his weapon. It was SC2K, a prototype version of FN2K. It was unique when Sam acquired it from the CIA HQ.
@Layne Staley What did i say bro read again
Well talented, loved it #slgamingdeck

Lol
Holy shit this was so entertaining to watch! The way you dominated Kalinatek was seriously impressive.
+Sam Fisher i am still to this day, unable to finish kalinatek
+Phinksys Really? Not the hardest mission, you should give it another go
winlover37 Just wait until Abattoir.

it's a kind of weird abstract humor, it's very requiring
