One of the best 4 favorites I've seen so far - they are all great films, but also "enjoyable and/or rewatchable" films. When I saw Richard had done this series, I clicked immediately - I was not disappointed.

Some Like It Hot, one of the greatest comedies ever made! Glad to see it get picked.
I havent seen it but I loved The Apartment.

you can't go wrong with those 4 films at all. i love those 4 films.
Richard also did a good episode in the criterion collection where he picked 11 or so movies. He had some good selections: Some Like it Hot was one of them, The Graduate, Jules and Jim, and Nashville (he was a frequent Robert Altman collaborator) among others

What's wrong with his picks? The Godfather trilogy is awesome (same could be said for Some Like It Hot), never saw Cabaret. Is it good?
