I'm 20 now, when I was 19 I got approved for a petal credit card with a $750 limit about 6 months ago, petal is designed for people with bad or no credit

Justin Guarino Wow, none of my friends in college have been declined for that card. I feel like there could’ve been an error in your application. They require proof that you are an active student. I would recommend calling them (they have fantastic customer service) and seeing what’s up. Worse comes to worse, you could just get a discover secured card which still has great benefits but simply requires a small security deposit.
