…the cars are also pretty intimidating to drive for most drivers…the acr is about as hardcore/raw as it gets for a street legal production car and driving it on the street is risky and using it on a track without run-off is also scary. That said, it’s one of my dream cars. These are supposed to be mega and a worthy gt3 opponent. Driving one in the rain must be a handful.
The Viper ACR is basically the untouchable final boss that a modern Takumi must beat to become the fastest racer in all of Japan. A perfect balance between savage brutality and absolute control.
Actually 3. A red one driven by John Ireland. And the White Hot ACR Extreme of Jason and John White. Both of which had fairly severe front end crashes. All drivers and navigator safe and well.
Most under-rated modern Yank speed monster ever built. A properly fuelled stroker 9-litre job must be a feeling that only the Apollo guys felt when leaving planet earth. Lift off!
I could only imagine if they shipped it that way. 825hp at the crank, all motor, with 750ft/lbs of torque ripping up the track. Instead the ACR launched with a measly 10hp increase over the standard Viper
I’m not a Dodge man but viper got my respect. Hope they come up with a new viper in the future. Sure hate to see it go. Great job viper team. That is one bad to the bone racer.
It's amazing to see someone actually use the car for what it was made for.
Collectors are crying babies. We need more of theses kind of people (this viper owner) to fully appreciate what these cars. I can watch this all day

Thing's a monstrosity!
A viper in the wet....manly stuff right there.
True. There were 2 vipers. 1 got binned this year.

Ahh, a beautiful scenery and a glorious natural habitat suited for the perfect Snake!!!🤤🌦🪐🐉🧭🏁
Big engine and aero, lovely sound. Nothing to complain about here.
Not full send, but balls of steel to even be ripping a vip in the rain
it is full send in a car which wants to kill you + they managed to crash it too i read
Great job boys, very deserving winners 👏
That scenery is nothing short of epic. Stunning.

Cor, how hardly damped & sprung is this thing? There is bugger all rebound in the dampers, you can see it man!

BALLS OF FREAKIN STEEL!! Wet, winding, mountains roads, a Dodge Viper ACR...YES! I was clinching MY cheeks watching this. Bravo fellas👏👌👍
Jeremy Clarkson on the Viper -
'A entirely lovable and enjoyable to drive --- axe murderer...'

Awesome. Those roads are treacherous at normal speed. Would love to see some XA XB XC Hardtops in Targa. Again.

I'm too used to the Extreme ACR, so it's a bit weird looking at this one with that "little" rear diffuser, haha!
