He kept watching and getting nervous...when they made eye contact when Dai got his drink while eating a banana, Dai saw right through him, went back and just had fun. He knew he was doing nothing wrong. Am always insecure and making scenarios in my head, that doesn't my partner will forsake all other friendships, it just means my partner will show me that they can make friends yet still be loyal to me
Maturity is when u guys realised Shun is the only contestants who is there looking for long lasting relationship he isn't there to look good in front of camera/he isn't their to win audience heart/ he is there to find a partner (trustworthy ,loyal partner with whom he can get married and starts his own family) he isn't trusting blindly or faking his love for dai or doing lovey dovey stuff to please audience.. Remember when iSAC was leaving show almost everyone cried but shun didn't even cried / he didn't even care about other shun was being himself eating 😂. It's a show where everybody wants to show their good side ,but shun is rechecking dai bcz of his doubt (which someone correct). He isn't rushing or faking just to please audience he ia their for himself
Oh I disagree Shun didn't cry because he's used to people leaving he protects his heart. He is a strong person. I think everyone is being themselves Genshi has my whole heart he is so sweet and soon deep with Ryota and seeing his heart break in a thousand pieces was overwhelming. I love Alan too he's been through a lot as well and though he's so positive and bubbly he has his flaws, and he actually turned off Kazuto with his forwardnes. And my gentle giant Usak that scene broke me when he left he couldn't help his personality he was so shy and awkward just wanted to hug him.
This is so wrong because I think Shun is one of the most hardworking there when it comes to the cafe truck. He's always so focused when he's assigned to work. That goes to show that he isn't just there for himself

Shun is a red flag for not being honest about what he sees in Dai and that hasn't changed in 6 episodes. He does not communicate what he wants, he just makes statements and expects that by some miracle things will work out in his favor 🥺

Estoy muy de acuerdo, al menos eso pienso también, lo único con lo que no estoy de acuerdo son los momentos de confusión por los que hace pasar a Dai, eso de "me acerco yo, pero tú no me toques" creo que ese tipo de comportamiento es injusto. Aunque también soy consciente de que no todo lo que ocurre en Green Room va a salir en los episodios, pienso que hay muchas cositas que no sacan con tal de generar drama y entretener.
I really feel for shun. I cant imagine never having love, even from the people that are suppose to love you unconditionally. He has trauma from past relationships and the people who brought him into this world. he was abandoned, raised in an orphanage, and had to live without family and love all his life. Its obvious that he struggles to understand love but he wants to be able to. I don't think he's a red flag like other people keep saying. I just think he does not know how to react to love. People only know what they're taught and as we see he hasn't had any teachers. I learned what healthy love is from my parents but he doesn’t get that. He has to learn what love is and how to accept it by personal experience and not observation. He's on this show which shows how badly he wants a home and family that he never got to experience. Im glad he told dai about his past so dai can understand the background and experinces hes working off of.

When you’re a child your parents teach you what love means, how to behave with love (unfortunately they also teach how to hate) etc. He didn’t have that. The people in the orphanage were probably too busy to show parental love. He lived in the orphanage for 18!!!! years for goodness sake. I really feel for this young man. He will find someone who will love him unconditionally and I hope it’s Dai. They are both young (but they are pretty mature for their age) so they have plenty of time for loving each other.

I dont think shun trying to make dai change his extrovert personality as some comment said in other social media he just scared he wont be able to match his personality because he is a introvert but i think dai like peaceful and quite environment with him he doesn't seem to be getting bored by it i am introvert i can understand shun on so many level but dai really trying to keep up with him is so nice

I know so many of you guys might think Shun is overreacting (but only a person who hav been through same situation/condition can understand why shun action iis like this) i can relate to shun , it's not easy to trust someone, in my case whenever i see someone who acts clingy/sweet/kindness i question myself a lot is that person real or fake ,i have trust issue to avoid this we usually want to be friends with them in order to understand their real personality ( shun said dai is so excited, that's why he has problem with their vibes) but in reality i thinks shun is questioning himself is this person showing his real " excitement" "real smile" "real happiness" or he is doing this just for show in order to look cool afterall in the ends this is juat a reality show , shun isn't people pleasure he is being real with his feelings.

Here’s what I think and i wrote it just now somewhere else, so just gonna copy paste.
I don’t understand why people are fighting over taking sides here. I understand both of them. Dai is a very cheerful and energetic person and he is actively approaching the person he’s attracted to which is just fine, but I also understand why shun is the way he is. It may not be visible but shun is very insecure and always guarded. He doesn’t like to feel at disadvantage in a relationship which is why he gets defensive and fears taking the wrong step. From the very beginning he expressed his plans to marry and adopt children so this process of finding a partner is a much serious one for him, which is why he is very hesitant and in denial. Dai comes on very strong which is something shun clearly stated he disliked in the beginning. I kind of understand when he said he found dai’s energy exhausting but he seems to also be drawn to him. It’s like he is attracted to the person he is but can’t see himself in a relationship with him. At the same time shun is being very harsh and confusing which is not allowing dai to take a decision. It is understandable that dai is frustrated with shun’s behaviour but at the same time, I feel like this push and pull is keeping him interested in shun. like he mentioned before, dai never met someone like shun and finds his ambiguity refreshing and enticing. Shun is very bad at expressing himself and actually goes the opposite of what he should be doing. He said he doesn’t want to see dai or hear his voice but it seems to be more because of how conflicted dai makes him feel with himself(as in being at war with your heart?) rather than him actually disliking dai. Shun not experiencing familial love and having bad experiences in relationship is one thing that gives some context to him pushing dai away because dai offers way too much than shun can handle and the photo incident seemed to have left a picture painted in shun’s head over the similarities with his ex that might be a barrier for him because unlike everyone else, shun has a clear agenda of finding a partner to grow old with which leaves him with a great burden and paranoia of not repeating his past mistakes and choosing the wrong person. I feel like dai is the one to put efforts between the two of them because shun is defensive and retreats when facing an obstacle. I do think they compliment each other well and their dynamics seem to work. The only question left is will dai be able to give shun the family he desired? And will shun learn to cherish dai and handle what he offers? But before that, they need sort the differences between them.
@@janviviri3452 Excellent summation of the episodes. One is an introvert and one is an extrovert. My husband and I are the same way. It can work. Having a partner who’s an extrovert can be exhausting. Being with an introvert can also be exhausting but in a very different way. I really think they will figure it out if they really want to be together. I’m not sure where they both live???????
This show keeps me up at night. Not one day since the first airing I haven't have a thought for them. I understand Shun so much. Being introverted attracted to a super flirty extra-extrovert is exhausting and very scary. The insecurity is so much greater than falling for a regular person. Shun needs to learn to trust himself more and Dai needs to calm down with the flirting in my opinion. I love them both.

You nailed it! Dai wasn’t cutting it at all with his play boy traits. Shun is definitely sure of what he wanted and not going to settle for less! The two faced fox ikuo was chasing both kazuto and Dai…that boy was always putting Shun down to Dai and making sure he glued himself to Dai side all the time. Joined the show lately and without knowing nothing about why Shun was cautious to fall for Dai. It was a funny and dirty move he made under the pretences of being nice and trying to help when he asked Shun to come and discuss Dai in front of everyone. Imagine my disgust when he read a love letter to Dai! I was like so when did you write this out? After Shun and Dai night together?

This a person who called out kazuto to tell him it fell for him since day one… while all still scheming to snatch Dai. Ikuo must have been missed informed about a BL drama…And what are the odds for Alan, who confessed to have slept with Dai!

Impossible to be scripted in my opinion. It's set in Japan, a still conservative Country and being Queer in Japan is not as open as it is for us in the west. It take for some of them lots of courage to expose themselves. I know in the Americas lots of those shows are in fact scripted to spick the audience but I doubt they do the same in Asia.
It would be better if u said this for Straight dating show but for gay dating show its different (
I am not questioning their sexuality, I also think their are gay, I am just saying in past dating shows we have seen that the contestant play the part to get fame but not actually like the individual they are with, so it could be same here as well, you never know.
If it was scripted shun wouldn't have come to this show because of what he has faced in his past and he doesn't have a family too, he wouldn't even have risk his mental health by to this show so u are loud and wrong

At this point Dai has the right to go after who ever he wants. He was aggressive in his approach and backed off, and then Shun got interested.
But the relationship only progresses according to Shun's preferences not Dai's. Dai took him seriously, listened and actually heard about his trauma and didnt pity but sympathized with him.

Dai obviously likes Shun more than Ikou, Shun's past is not something that will be fixed even with a thousand therapies, and here the difference between Dai and Shun is demonstrated, Dai has parents who support him but Shun has no one, and I can assure you that the environment in which Shun lived did not help him at all, even working from a very young age. And you will remain silent when you see what the home house system is like in Japan.
everyone get insecured when they know those things. if they said they like you and you started to get feelings . will you not be insecure when when another guy came and that person and the guy had sex before and still being touchy touchy. there were so many things which make dai red flag .. maybe you are carefree and like those type of person but i as an introvert would had the same feeling and questions like shun.

So, I went and watched 2 episodes of the show because I hate speaking without context and I just can't. Reality tv isn't for me at all. I clicked on this video because I adore your content and I agree with you 99% of the time but this is not for me. I feel like our brains are so programmed by all the bl fiction we see, we stop being able to recognise toxic real life patterns because they would make for a good series. This couple is a prime example os that. In an ideal fictional world Dai commits to Shun and helps him overcome his traumas and Shun opens up and begins to heal. But in reality these are two incredibly different people who are bound to hurt each other trying to accomodate their differences.
I agree and I don’t think their relationship will last very long - they’re totally too opposite. Eventually, Dai will get tired of putting up with Shun’s drama and sulky actions.
People being immature saying they’ll probably get married - two guys in their early twenties will have more relationships and are way too immature at that age to tie down with one person.
But, it’s good theater for people who live vicariously through these sort of dramas.
I think Dai also faced some drastic problems in his life. In the show's introduction he talked about it unlike what this video says. Other than this fact I really loved your video❤

Shun is a complicated person. He comes with baggage. Being abandoned as a child to be cheated on by an ex. He takes practically everything seriously. When he does smile it is nice to see that side of him. Then there is Dai. He smiles alot and has a carefree attitude and chats to people alot. But alot changes his mind practically every minute like in the club from Shun to a dancer then Alan came in and now Ikuo. Dai has a nature ability to make people chat and feel at ease. Since Shun said he wanted to be friends to Dai. Dai isn't chasing him so hard and Shun likes that. But it is a double edged sword. Dai maybe 🤔 watching 👀 Shun to see how he reactions are to him being with others. And Shun is giving off jealously vibes. But if something does not happen from either one. More on Shun's side. Then I think the chance will be losted and then it will be too late and over.
I Want to watch it so bad but Im scared and I don't want to suffer and wait for a week 😢😂I will wait till all the episode is out HAHA
I get what you are saying but I beg to differ in the following ways:
1. In this day and age, we all have a past so...pull an Elsa and "let it go"...
2. Dai has been open from the begging that everyone is here for something and Dai is a green flag for everyone except Shun in those moments that makes no sense.
3. Reassurance and support is double sided. Don't push me away and read into situations...all relationships need open and clear communication.
4. Dai listened when Shun spoke about being friends but Shun didn't... Let's see the green flag get what it is, Dai respected his choices even though he didn't understand the subtleties....Shun is a mild red flag but Dai is a green flag all the way. He likes Shun and tried not to make him uneasy and took the new guy to have fun but didn't even once hit on him.
Dai knows his man is insecure and does everything within his power to show his loyalty but Shun is always so closeted In his feelings...here in my world we quantify it on a sentence "things fall apart..."
And Alan's appearance is Shun's wake up call
Also don't expect ppl to conform to you, let all compromises are 2 sided
Just "let it go"? Pls don't go about dismissing people's traumas and fears. Shun has a lot to be cautious about. He obviously hasn't been loved properly before and is wary of being hurt again. Even a child would run from fire after being burned. The fact that he's on the show facing that fear is admirable
@@Armoaty I am not dismissing. Am just saying that everyone has a level of trauma and we can't expect people to handle our traumas for us. For example, I am a r*** victim and get skittish around new people. I don't expect people around me to miraculously know what I need. I have to explain myself and communicate effectively with people I feel safe around. No assumptions, just communication and self driven desire to have better situations surround me.

But everyone is different. You can't expect everyone to be able to be as strong.
1. I've been SA'd and bullied for a significant portion of my 27yrs of life, with the first 16yrs spent with an abusive narcissist father and an avoidant mother. I've had no emotional or romantic security, and can TOTALLY empathize with Shun's reluctance.
2. Because of those fears, further aggravated by even more negative experiences from the opposite sex, I have a lot of work to do with therapists, so I sought help, I spoke up.
Guess what?
In my country, very similarly to most Asian countries, I was told to "get over it and stop seeking attention". Called weak and spoken down on even by friends and mentors I thought I could trust.
People had that same mentality you have. If I could get over it easily, everyone should(even though it's most likely they're in denial or using some other negative coping mechanism). So I learnt to NOT COMMUNICATE to avoid the hurt and misunderstanding.
Again: Thankfully you were able to "let it go" so easily and had such good support to make it so easy, but not everyone is that lucky.
Most of us had to go it alone, and are still going it alone.

Shun was really sad, Shun couldn't even disappear Shun must have cried, the sunglasses were covered. but everything turned out well in the end with Dai Shu, they became a couple. the program was good, the joy disappears Shun Dai always talked things out and always settled arguments before going to sleep.I say: Shun's family Dai admits that Shun never had, now he has a family and a wonderful boyfriend to live with, happily together, Shun Dai eternal couple

I do NOT want Shun and Dai to end up together. Shun is way too complicated and then he plays with Dais feelings. I understand hes been through some heartache but that doesnt mean he should treat Dai like an annoying puppy. He wants things on HIS terms and his terms only. That doesnt bode well for the future if they were to end up together.

My opinion: you are so positive about Dai but I have my doubts that once Dai gets Shun , he will get bored and move on. Its forbidden fruit attraction for Dai.

I agree: they really are not for each other. Dai will tire of trying to uphold and console Shun over and over. He’s not a therapist and he’s still very young. They both have plenty of time to find a future match - there’s no rush. They’re young, have fun and get your life in order before latching on to someone else to with your burdens and problems that you haven’t dealt with, expecting them to heal you. That’s not how it works.

Let me start by saying that I've never watched the show and was actually watching your video to help me decide if I should watch it or not. I don't think it was your intention at all but Shun comes off as a massive red flag in this video and it makes me not want to watch it at all.
Shun Red flag ( do you know anything about him ???? His past is traumatic I think only 1% of the world population can experience what it feels to being abondoned by your close one(mom and dad) in the age when u aren't even 5yrs old... After that when u trust someone and love someone they cheats on you so do you really trust someone blindly just bcz they are being tóo good to you , specially when u are in dating show (and fyi Dai had xxx with another contestants he accepted on show/he is playboy)

@@makatoshinkai Fair. But Dai is not responsible for that trauma. He shouldn't have to compensate for everyone who did Shun wrong. Even without watching the show is quite obvious they are not compatible. There's no bigger red flag from Shun than the fact that he's looking for real love on a reality tv show when he clearly isn't built for that kind of enviroment and attach himself to someone that, by your own words, is a playboy. From what you describe all he knows is people failing him in life so he goes and developes feelings for someone who is bound to do the same. That's not healthy. It's clear from this video that Dai is the type to have fun so if Shun had decided they were better off as friends he shouldn't feel ownership over him. That's not fair.

Truth be told Shun is a complicated person who's tied to his past, his mood swings are just too much and he though some may find it hard to believe Shun is not looking for true love or any type of love,I personally think he is there to prove that his idea of what men are is true that's why he judges and compares dai to his past relation...

@@sonamrawat7822 to answer your question I did watch it, Dai never gave any mixed signals he was just being himself, his friendly he likes to talk to people, Shun was rather a disturbed person I'd love to say he was bipolar but it wasn't that serious, he has a sad soul and I don't blame him his been through a lot, an orphan who grew up without knowing what real love was, ended up meeting the wrong people who used and dumping him. So I get it you probably related more to Shun because your that kind of person who either thinks ill of others without a good reason or has a traumatic past like him and it's okay you just need therapy
@@sonamrawat7822 I really appreciate you writing all this but just to prove my point do you remember After the romantic night they both had Shun went ahead and stopped talking to Dai, because he refused to wear his shirt and after ignoring Dai and after everyone tried to help them out what reason did he give, that his ex used to wear his shirt as a symbol of his love so when Dai refused to wear it, it showed him that he didn't care about him,(I'd be really annoyed and angry if my love gave me that as an excuse after the silent treatment and giving me emotional stress) but Dai said I understand I promise next I'll do what ever you want me to do and am sorry I didn't wear it please forgive me

@keita4 that's my point. IT'S NOT BL. In real life when ppl reject you, you are supposed to move on and that's what Dai has been trying to do but Shun likes to push and pull him and to me that's villainous
half right and half wrong. The thing is Shun likes the distance between them when they are friends; Dai isn't too clingy and is just at arms reach. The factor here is that Shun has attachments issues, he wants someone just at arms reach but not farther or closer than that unless he is ready to commit to it. I do think if they ever get together communication is a really big issue unless Dai smartens up and gets Shun's non verbal cues and his disposition (this would particularly be hard for Dai; as he is very open) or Shun being more open
Shun has fallen for Dai even after the red flags he sees in him (red flag for shun at least). This falls again to Shun's attachment issues, he wants Dai but he is afraid of being disappointed with him. Like the picture, his outgoing nature, his "cute" sentiments to almost everything, his friendliness, his past with Alan and now with Ikou in the picture. These might not be red flags for everyone but for Shun it is. Yet he is still attached to Dai.
IMHO Shun is like a forbidden fruit for Dai, we don't really know what will happen after he gets that fruit
@@miggyceldran183 I mean, I get that Shun is cautious and introverted. However, Shun can't pick an outgoing person, get mad that they're outgoing, tell them he doesn't think it would work out, then get mad again when Dai respects that decision, and try to move on.
Shun is sending mixed signals and Dai shouldn't have to shrink himself to conform to Shun's ideal type. Thats the problem I have with Shun.
@@brownekat I dunno my partner is kinda like Shun and I'm kinda like Dai (and ikou). I just try to understand that not everyone is the same. Shun was never mad that Dai acted as his friend, he actually liked that. What he wasn't happy about was Ikou getting into the space that wasn't really open yet. (Ikou has no fault in this as he was just the oblivious one here)
Dai didn't realised when he get excited on arrival of other members that he just confessed to the most pretty Boy here..he repeated that mistake for many times and then Shun awake him by friend zoning him then Iku came and he again made Shun upset and that was enough for Dai when he saw that Poker face with glasses hiding his eyes cursing him in every language 😂 after that he came to his senses
