@@gardensteps Typically, Type 4 hair is also extremely wiry and fragile. ... It has an “S” pattern when stretched, much like Type 3 curly hair. Type 4B hair has a less defined pattern of curls and looks more like a “Z” as the hair bends with very sharp angles. I googled it.

Well atleast its slicking. My hair keeps curling up
I used to try slick backs and failed so many times but now I know the way to perfect your slick back is to do it on freshly washed hair ( don't do it on dry hair or it won't work), and do it In sections and it worked so good. I also used a regular brush to slick it back

OMG! I couldn't believe my short 4c hair could sleek down . I followed the instructions step by step and the result was amazing. I had this style on for one week and it was still looking very presentable.

For anyone who isn't a fan of gel, you can also try moose or pair the castor oil with a thick creme leave in , it may take longer to set though

Wow. This tutorial inspired me so much, that I went ahead to follow the tutorial. My hair looked so fabulous but I think Ms Adanna left out the important detail that it's extremely painful once it's loosened. Especially with short hair.

Her hair has a lot of shrinkage so it looks like her hair is shorter than what it actually is but for a person who actually has really short hair even when it is stretched out and find it hard to put it in a bun u probably will have trouble not trying to discourage anyone her hair isnt as short as u may think its just the shrinkage she has a decent length it is still short tho but its long enough to put it all in a tiny bun if u have really short pixie cut hair u will struggle more to fit it all in a bun
Hi Adanna..what do you think of flaxseed gel? Can one use flaxseed gell rather than manufactured gell as I think gell can damage my hair
