I love your cozy desk and creative area! I so love Temu ~ I have found and purchased so many awesome things for my desk and organizing (and my pets too!) On there ... I LOVE IT!!
I never ordered from TEMU before until I got a promo code from MelissaSue (RIP) and I'm surprised at the selection and how inexpensive everything is! I've been satisfied with every item I've gotten so far! Maybe I will do a journaling specifc order someday for fun lol
You have so many good ideas i haven't thought of! I've just moved and I'm in the process of setting up a new craft and hobby room and I'll be going shopping at TJ max soon. 😂
My advice is to visit stores like TJ Maxx, Home Goods, and Marshall's OFTEN. Things come and go, what you see there today will be completely different tomorrow. Sometimes you have to let the items speak to you instead of looking for them :D
@@stationery.shenanigans that's very true. lol. I plan to do things like that more. Huge recent life change and I think little things that add a little fine tuning to a desk are just happy things. 🤣❤️
An empty tabletop - I get that it’s pleasing - if only I could do that 😂😂😂 I seem to have to many things in the to be processed pile! Also I think the drawers that you can entirely remove and set on table seem really useful. Never thought of that function and none of my drawers are like that 😭
I used to store a lot of my smaller items in boxes and then put the boxes on shelfs, it would get SO disheveled and hard to find things, so this seemed like the best solution. I also made it a habit to keep that one table completely empty when not in use because otherwise everything would pile up! Sometimes I wish I did have an actual dining room table, though.
So paper republic has really good quality leather but the grand voyageur is not a true a5 - you would have to get the portfolio which has pockets inside. Or you can use their atelier service and custom order exactly what you want!
Thanks for sharing this! On their website it looked large (which is what I want), but then watching everyone's videos, they look smaller than I thought. I'm gonna put it on the back burner and maybe be on the lookout for other TN-styles that are A5 size. The TN system is probably my favorite, but I would like something bigger for non-journaling stuff (i.e. work and PhD notes)
@@stationery.shenanigans Yes it’s the piece of leather that is a5 sized but when you put elastic and fold over, their inserts are just slightly smaller!
I actually got this keyboard and mouse from Temu together for a really good price, maybe $14? I wanted a bigger mechanical keyboard since I have big hands. the only downside is that it's not wireless, so you have to plug the USB in, but it works great from me! (also the sound while typing is quite satisfying!!)
@@stationery.shenanigans That's so cool! I really like the look of it. I have a Filco keyboard but it's all matte black which I like but sometimes the fun colors and lights are appealing. I really like the mouse it looks super cool. I have a boring Razer mouse that I don't love the look of but its the only mouse that I know of that let's me control the volume with mouse buttons which is why I could never get rid of it lol especially now that Razer discontinued it
@@tompov227 There's a whole interesting world out there with mechanical keyboards, I had watched a bunch of TikTok videos and felt inspired haha. it does make the writing experience a lot better!
