I don't know why people crave a reunion so much. How would that work out? "Forget about the last 27 years, we're picking up from where we stopped on the Roots tour". What? Would anyone seriously be so silly to accept that? Sepultura has put out some amazing records since the Cavaleras left, and so did the brothers. Enjoy that you have two great bands to listen to, the past doesn't come back.

Especially after the tragedy that happened to Dimebag Darrell, Max was hurt by it because Dime was his friend and after the 2006 tour for the Dante XXI album concluded Igor just had to reunite with Max
I was in a death metal band with my little brother. It was magical in terms of tightness and working together with ease.. almost telepathic. He was killed in a car crash with my other little brother. What Igor says here is so true and hits home to me in the deepest way. I miss those boys every minute of every day. Anyone who has a tight relationship with their brother, cherish it. It could be gone tomorrow. If you have a brother you’re close to but are fighting with, call him, today. Please.

They came to my city literally a 10 minute walk away, and I had to fly home during that weekend for a wedding. I was/will forever be sooo bummed

I’m glad Igor let it go. He just want to jam with his brother which is awesome. Max on the other hand can’t let it go.

it's just a shame that the name ended up in the hands of the last member to join. much like with Venom, the real creators, founding members and writers ended up banished for others to take the glory. very unfair.
Max drew up a contract on 1993 that all members of Sepultura owned 25% and if one member were to walk away, they would lose all rights to Sepultura. Max left his ball and walked home, Igor did the same 10 years later.
@@michaelgibbons2556 from a formal point of view I guess that's correct. from an ethical point of view I wonder if I would want to ride on someone else's success tail rather than creating my own musical project from scratch. Andreas decided to recycle Max's.

Daniel from Possessed shreds harder than Andreas and Paulo JR's bass playing isnt super remarkable and the dude from Havok kills it too so really no reason for it to happen
Se eu fosse o Andreas, jamais iria querer me reunir com o Max Cavalera e Igor Cavalera. O Igor Cavalera como baterista de metal é uma decepção, envelheceu mal, comparado com outros bateristas como: Dave Lombardo e Ian Paice. Sério, parece que o Igor não quer tocar bateria e só faz para agradar o irmão, porque não é possível um baterista como o Igor Cavalera que foi foda nos anos 90 e início de 2000, no Sepultura, tocar tão mal atualmente. E do Max, não preciso falar nada.
Se o cara quiser, ele deita. De que adianta ter um eloy casagrande da vida ou qualquer outro musico tecnico se a linguagem da musica é puro feeling e sentimento? Daí começa uma enorme epistemologia sobre musica boa ou ruim. Mas quer a verdade? Se é boa resiste ao tempo, amigão. Sepultura é max e fim.
@@pedrosouza5270 vcs falam umas babozeiras eu não sei nem como vc tem coragem de falar isso, felling…como se isso não fosse justo umas das melhores características do eloy. O igor fez o dele, no tempo dele e Vai ser lembrado por isso, mas não vem com esse papo furado ai não. E se sepultura fosse max, soufly tinha sido tão grande quanto ou até maior por conta da mídia, coisa que não é.
@@lightvideovideo Uma banda não vive apenas de um baterista criativo, estamos falando do conjunto da ópera. Quanto ao soufly, tenho 36 anos, soufly foi simplesmente uma febre nos anos 2000. Quem gravou as guitarras do primeiro disco foi o genial lúcio maia do nação zumbi. Morreu junto com a febre do nu metal mas foi outro tiro certeiro e uma comprovação de que max estava no caminho certo. Enquanto o sepultura lançou o against e outros albuns que, me desculpe, mas são muito abaixo, mas muuuito abaixo do roots.
