I have to strongly disagree about the bracelet. No, it isn't sharp-edged but it's incredible light, comfortable and proof that Casio Edifices do the best folded links in the business. The fact that we have to live with a permanent bracelet on this type of watch might suggest that comfort is of more importance than looks, unless of course you plan to buy a watch and immediately put it in a drawer. I love my EFR-S108D-1AV because of the bracelet, not despite it. YMMV of course.
Ive not got this variant but do have the EFS-S570D-1A version and love it...solar powered and sapphire plus chrono super legible with having pure white hands...the Tiffany blue in the EFRS 108 i think in my opinion will end up being the best seller ....Great review...
Earlier Edifice casioaks had a solid link bracelet, and a screw back caseback. Look em up, they were much nicer. Casio obviously downgraded for cost cutting reasons or some other nonsense. Bad move Casio!
Edifice EFB108D has great solid links with sharp edgy profile that might go very well with this watch. If you could arrange that watch bracelet and see if it fits on this one would solve the ultimate crisis of this watch. everyone have done the review for this watch and complained heavily about the shitty bracelet but none provided the solution. I would really love if you try out my suggestion
Thanks for the suggestion, I got that watch, review coming very soon. I will check if what you suggested is doable, if it is, that would be awesome! Stay tuned!
I think for 100€ it's a decent watch if it's not your main watch. I have the one with tiffany dial for summer days. The bracelet is not great but it's not the worst in the world, the bracelet on my Casio MTD 1053 dive watch is much worse for example. I mean, is there any better watch in that style for 100€ ?
At that price it’s decent, I agree. The EFB-108D is also a solid choice with a better bracelet. I made a video comparing the two watches if you’d like to check it out.
Not sure buddy, I measured it a while ago, but didn't write it down. I sold the watch a few days ago (to fund a new watch purchase). Hopefully someone has the answer...
Saw some comments on reddit about a suitable option that would be a tissot prx 35mm bracelet/strap which has a lug width of around 11mm (1mm shorter that the casio). Apparently, if you change the springbar for a 16mm one on the strap it should fit the casio. If i end up trying it I’ll make a post about it on reddit.
Overhyped green😂😂 That is so true. I was wondering if it came with solid links. After searching for many reviews finally got my answer in this video. It costs more than previous models (white and black dial) they could have atleast offered solid links. In my country the old white model usually goes for like 30-40% off every month. Currently it's half the price of this model.
I am glad to be of service! I think Casio offer great value for the money for most of their watches, sometimes they overshoot, but it gets adjusted later once the hype dies down.
Using a pry opener, pushing more (forward) parallel to the caseback than upwards. Making sure the opener is pushed all the way before applying pressure. Not using household items that don’t offer a proper grip.
Yes the bracelet don't match the case , that's way I didn't buy it , I was thinking for a long time . Big turn off it's like from a different watch + you cannot change it . But for that price you can't complain. Polished case amazing dial sapphire glass. Watches from other brands with this quality go for 250 euros , but with slightly better bracelet
Yeah unfortunately the bracelet is what hurts this watch, at the end of the day, I had to point that out for future buyers. I am looking into other options in the same price range to suggest, stay tuned!
@@simplewatchtalks I looked everything and I couldn't find nothing close ( based on the brands in my country and the Balkans limited range ) that case worths double the money brashed polished case+ sapphire but no anti reflective coating . Have you ever heard about swiss military hanowa? Quite popular in the Balkans ?

I respect that.

S570D looks fine, I will take a look into it. Thank you!

I will be getting a similar Edifice watch to compare very soon…
Which alternative would you suggest just in case?
Edifice EFB108D, I made a comparison video, feel free to check it out.
EFR107
Sizing the bracelet is easy?

@@simplewatchtalks Hi, did you manage to combine the EFR watch with the EFB bracelet?
Was in my wishlist for a while.. Price dropped to $90, pulled the trigger !
Great choice!
$90? Where?

Hello! Does anybody know that the sapphire on this watch AR double coated or only under the sapphire crystal? 🤔
Thanks! 🙂
Not sure that info is available anywhere, but if someone knows, please help our homeboy here!

@@simplewatchtalks what's better than this watch at same price range?
0:24 "over hyped green" lol, it's called teal
Teal it is!
Isn't that called Tiffany Blue?
@@caravansvisits Is that a Tiffany piece?
What would the size be for a replacement band/bracelet? Is it 12mm?

Which country? Website?
are the min hands silver or black ?
I am confused please let me know as I am considering buying it :D
Thanks for the video
My pleasure. They are silver, with lume.
Hi... I want the same mod. SOLAR CHARGE AND ZAFIRE GLASS.
That would be the EFS-S630D.
Snapbacks...any way to remove without dents?

Got mine just a few days ago with Tiffany blue dial for 125$ at AD shop
Wear it in good health!
It has battery or automatic ?
It’s battery powered. For future reference, Casio does not produce automatic watches.
What do you think this on 15.5 wrist
It might, I have 16cm wrist and it fits. If in doubt, it’s better to try before buying.

Yes I heard of the brand, but I never had any of their watches in person.
Does it come in black 😅
It does, reference number 1AVUEF.
Iam from India its worth or not??
Bracelet is very „squeaky“. My other cheaper Casios dont have this problem.
#thanks
You’re welcome!
