- John Kani is a South African actor, author, director and playwright. He is known for portraying T'Chaka in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films Captain America: Civil War and Black Panther, Rafiki in the 2019 remake of The Lion King and Colonel Ulenga in the Netflix film Murder Mystery.

Even though we watched this on Podcast & Chill with MacG, the wisdom this icon shares can never be enough. Plus, Sbu's line of questioning is very much different from MacG so the conversation can't be the same.
My sentiments exactly... This man is truly unbelievable...

John Kani is my best Actor since I saw The Wild Geese in 1981 in my hometown Balige, Lake Toba, Indonesia. I was in high school at the time and this gentlemen play at that great movie triggered powerful fighting spirit in me in life. I got scholarship later on to study at Texas A&M University in USA. That movie, I still watch in blue ray now. John Kani scene is the central theme of this movie to me. Thank you.
