One thing I have picked up about ntate John Kani’s dress code for this episode is one thing: “MAKE THE YOUNG ONES COMFORTABLE AROUND ME INSTEAD OF INTIMIDATING THEM WITH MY CALIBER.” And the language again, he’s been throwing “shit word” from time to time. He simply made the hosts comfortable around him. A gem, a pro and an elder. Big ups Bra John✔️

To MacG, Sol, Ghostlady and all colleagues that work on this podcast,..from the bottom of my heart I just want to say THANK YOU. Thank you for giving the legends of our country flowers while they are still alive…Thank you for putting it on a platform that is free and accessible to all… What you are doing is GOLD and EXTREMELY RARE…All the legendary icons you have interviewed and continue to interview are single-handedly changing my life, changing the perception I have of my country and make me want to be a better person but not just for myself, but also for my country…even when the country is at its worst, your interviews has awakened in me a sense of patriotism that I never knew I had and it makes me want to join those who want to change the country for the better. All in all, your interviews have given me exposure to how big the world is and what life can be if I work hard because it is possible…and for that I will forever thank you🙏🏼❤️

I’m sure a lot of us here knew “Dr John Kani” but not everyone actually went out of their way to learn about this Legend’s story, but because of you guys we all gathered here. Shout out to you MacG and the Team. ❤️🙌🏾
I'm here to give MacG his flowers as an interviewer and I just don't think it can get better than him and how he's able to read the guest is just extraordinary. I have always thought Dr Kani was a serious man but for him to be in this interview i''m seeing a different side, his humour and story telling is amazing big up McG for sharing this icon with us
"When you take the elevator to the top floor of success, as you step out, Please press G" Damn I felt that🔥..Dr John Kani is a master, an icon, a.. man I ran out of words. This man is not celebrated enough in South Africa. He speaks as if he is narrating a movie, I would listen to him all day. He is the best there ever was, the best there is and the best there ever will be. Thank you my Lord Kani 🔥🙌💯
It occurred to me as I was watching this episode, that it was highly possible for us to never hear these inspirational stories from Dr John Kani if it wasn't for this platform. Many greats came and left, sadly we never got the chance to bask in their wisdom. Thank you podcast and chill, I am just blessed 🙌.
This is the podcast that will break the youtube viewership, and even critics will applaud. Those who think the podcast is all about crude content will have their tails between their legs.🤣 After this invite His Son Athandwa Kani
Oh, the Nothing but the truth man. The fact that I fell in love with his book back in high school and can still remember most of it, ah bona, this is history made. Thank you MacG
Dr Kani knows his value and he doesn't let it go to his head. He is an amazing elder and we are blessed to have him around to be telling us about his experience. Enkosi Tata

I am in tears..Yho!!!!!! what an interview, what a Great Man. I am embarrassed that I know of this man and what he does but not how deep it runs. Thank you MacG.
The amount of talented, wise, forward-thinking, charismatic and intellectually smart black men I've seen come on to this podcast is astounding! It makes me proud to be a South African!
Before I even scroll down to anyone else's comment, first of all well done to you guys for bringing such a Living Legend and Pride for South Africa. What a gift! I read this man's book in High school *Nothing but the truth* and I was so fascinated that I'm reading a book whose Author is actually a South African sorry Mac Beth and Shakespeare people that book is legendary to me. Now back to this interview, this man is an effortless storyteller and I'm in awe...I chose to watch this on tv rather than the phone so that I don't get distracted 🙏🏼🙏🏼💜. The ending was perfect and he is an elder with a sense of humour, hallelujah 💃🏽💜 Well done!!! Best interview for me by far
MacG's interviewing skills are on another level, his interview preparation/research, he knows how to direct the interview, how to keep the viewers engaged by getting the best out of the guests.

The ending was perfect and he is an elder with a sense of humour, hallelujah 💃🏽💜
