Here's a polished version of your message: Hi there! Sure, I'll be explore the possibilities in making a video soon. In the meantime, you can get content by ripping your Blu-ray discs, downloading from newsgroups, or exploring similar options. Its really a google search away as some options is allowed and others might not
Nice, very! Thank you for your content. I have the OG Sony CX7000ES 400 disc changer that is full, an Oppo 205, and the OG Musiccast MCX2000... this sounds like the next move, for me. Questions: It's 8k , will does it downshift to the show on a 4K display? Also How many 4k or bluray movies do you estimate you could rip to the single hardrive? Lastly, what brand hardrive are you using?
I'm currently playing with the Zidoo Z9X 4K and the Dune Solo 4K. I've removed the Zidoo from the system due to two show stopper issues. One, it cannot separate ISO and MKV files even if stored in separate libraries. If you put the same movie in as MKV and ISO, it will confuse the Zidoo. Also, the Zidoo IR remote uses a nonstandard IR frequency and cannot work with most IR extenders. The Dune does not have a graphic user interface for selecting music. To play music, you have to go to the Sources menu and select from folders. It also does not have any means of rapid scrolling such as the vertical alphabet on Plex and Zidoo. Other than this inconvenience, the Dune Solo 4K works pretty well. I plan to get the new HD Max 8K to upgrade mine. I'm wondering about the R_Volution. With the Dune you can only create your own listing for, movies and TV shows, you cannot create one for music. I wonder if the R_Volution can do this. That would be a big plus if it can.
If I have a 4K UHD friendly optical drive connected to my PC can I rip the movies using MakeAKV directly onto the hard drive inside this unit? Or would I have to rip them separately then transfer the files over to this unit once I have installed hard drive in this unit? Looks good! Thank you for the help!
Yes it is! If you only plan to use it for plex then its not a good fit - While Plex is a great platform for streaming content, the PlayerOne 8K is designed for a different purpose. It’s meant for users who want the highest quality local media playback, particularly with large 4K or 8K video files that might not stream as smoothly through Plex. The PlayerOne 8K supports a wide range of formats and offers unparalleled image and sound quality, making it ideal for enthusiasts who want to get the most out of their high-end media collections. If you’re looking to manage and play back large, high-quality files directly, the PlayerOne 8K would be a great fit.
Don't change it! The R_volution doesn't have DAC and it is not able to play music files without gap. So, take care of your precious Oppo. R_volution is a good platform for videos only. Infact I got the two...but for audio files the Oppo Is the best

A question ... I'm looking for a new media player to put my digital content on and some of the movies I own. I saw a lot of (user) reviews about the Zidoo Z9X, the 8K version, 8000. Dune 8K, R.Volution 8K etc. I'm leaning towards the Zidoo 8000, just because of it's options. You can put 1 or 2 HDD's in it (SSD's ???), connect it to the network, connect external drives and so on, and so on. The Zidoo Z9X 8K is also a nice device, but the 5K or the earlier mentioned 8K version gives more options, and I like to have options, even if might never use it. So my question is; if you would spend money on a mediaplayer, a one time buy for lets say the next decade to come .. which player would you buy, and why. I'm curious about your choice and opinion. Much appreciated. 😉
