Every time I watched this part and Alan smiles it warms my heart and I start to cry like have you ever seen such a beautiful smile and the music makes it even better which moves me to more tears . Rip Alan
This scene brought me to tears.. astonishing work, full of joy and beauty! Marvellous acting and directing from Mr. Rickman, may he rest in peace! Thank you! 🙏
Interesting that the fountain here in the last shot is the only one with sunlight, the rest of Versailles is already darkening. But the light doesn't come from above, it comes from the fountain itself, or rather, from the King, the Sun King.
Never seen such a beautifully crafted movie in my life..It will always stay as a very special movie in my entire life.... Thanks Rickman Sir for gifting us such a lovely treat....❤❤❤
The last scene Alan Rickman standing in the middle while other actors dancing around him. considering the fact it was his last scene on silver screen. So iconic yet heartbreaking at the same time.
@@faizaniftikhar8732 “Alice Through the Looking Glass is Rickman's final acting credit. Although 2016 was the year of Alan Rickman's passing, it was also the year his final movie, "Alice Through the Looking Glass," was released.Feb 5, 2022” took two seconds to look up
I love this movie. It’s so beautiful & fills me with an inner sense of peace. Also sad 😢since this was one of Alan’s Rickman’s last movies. I think Alice Through the Looking Glass was truly his last 😢
I had watched Harry Potter series in lockdown after that sneph became my favourite character and I surfed internet to to know more about him but I was disappointed that he died in 2016 . 😢
The script is too modern sounding. She wouldn't say 'call me Madame again' because in France married women and all women over a certain age were called Madame,. It would be normal. Also there's something too modern seeming about Kate Winslet and Alan Rickman. The dance movements at 2:32 seem more like folk dancing than court dancing - too vigorous, not graceful enough.
This is like Kate’s farewell to Alan absolutely heartbreaking

Lmao i can’t remember writing that comment. Sorry

And the music is atrocious... You can't put this generic royalty-free sounding "soundtrack" behind Louis XIV, there's Lully for God's sake
