Sorry, I am commenting as I watch along the video. :) I find Hitoya as the most 'normal' among the whole cast. He's not the most handsome among the characters but he has a somewhat likeable personality. Spoiler alert (I read the manga sorry if this might spoil you and your friend), he is a lawyer who charges exorbitant fees but will sure as hell win the case for you by any means. He takes on bullying cases pro bono because his own brother was bullied so harshly it lead him to suicide, and poor Hitoya was the one who found him dead.

I don't know about other countries but in japan that is a sign that kind of means "SOS" when you can't talk. He's doing that as a call of help from his fucked up work place. This video is amazing, I knew HypMic because of Kijima Ryuichi (who is Hifumi) and started listening fairly recently like a year ago, and I didn't know nothing, at first I knew the divisions and found the live shows were awesome and started following their channel. But then I watched the anime adaptation and I was like "Oh there's more context to this characters" It's pretty weird to explain HypMic to someone because they are a rare thing group/band/rappers/characters/game/not anime but also anime, some people tell me the same "oh it's like Vocaloid" and I'm like "Not really" because I must be one of the few people who knew some people behind the project first and then the characters. It's quite a unique concept, you take on a character and become them instead of rapping about yourself, it's definitively a more "japanese" idea sorta going on the "idol" realm. I found your video very fun to watch! P.D. I'm team Matenrou btw although I wouldn't live in Shinjuku, I love the place and the lyrics about it on their songs.

Haha no I don’t know japanese… too hard for me lol. There are translations for most of the drama tracks online. I think they’re all on the hypnosis mic wiki, but if not, they can be found pretty easily by searching the name of the drama track with “translation.” As for the manga, check out slugtranslation on tumblr for more info!

Haha no I don’t know japanese… too hard for me lol. There are translations for most of the drama tracks online. I think they’re all on the hypnosis mic wiki, but if not, they can be found pretty easily by searching the name of the drama track with “translation.” As for the manga, check out slugtranslation on tumblr for more info!
